Climate control works and I never feel unsafe going here even at night knowing that I'm on camera and everything is gated. They have several different size units from ones you can fit RVs inside to the small ones with offices where you can run your small business they also have climate controlled and not climate controlled to meet your needs when I found them. They were the best price in the area and I randomly check to make sure that I'm not missing a deal somewhere else and they still continue to beat everyone in the area.

(10x15 space) After being there for about 5-6 months, the price jumped to $119 for the exact same unit, with no upgrades or changes. Now, the monthly rate has increased and is $164. Nothing about the storage space has changed only the price. Everything is done by phone, no attendant and the road is gravel. The numbers are wearing off the key pads. I don't see the additional cost value. What makes this especially frustrating is that the same size unit is currently being advertised to customers for close to what I originally paid. It feels like once they know you've moved your belongings in and are settled, they continue raising the rate, relying on the fact that most people don't want the hassle and expense of moving everything again. This pricing strategy feels predatory and unfair. Sunterra Storage takes advantage of customers who are already committed and inconvenienced, rather than rewarding loyalty. I would not recommend this facility to anyone looking for long term storage unless you're prepared for frequent and significant rate increases.

The facility was clean and orderly. The storage unit itself was very neat and clean. The prices are reasonable and I know personally it does not flood ( good thing to know ). She got me all signed up, and out the door in record time! I even offered to get her her lunch for cutting into her lunch time and even though she declined I appreciate how efficient she was! Why am I giving them money just to not be able to move my things. Ridiculous to have units but not have carts. I signed a move out notice a few weeks prior to my move out. I was scheduled to be out of my unit by May 31st. I moved out of the facility but because my lock was removed on 6/1, the facility charged me another month's rent. You would think after being a good paying customer over the past years (between myself and co-worker) I'd receive decent customer service but this was not the case. After calling to get an understanding of why I'm being charged for an additional month, Susan said I needed to read the fine print of my close out form. If you're in our community of Katy, I'd advise you to take your business somewhere else where people have great customers service and look to help solve problems....not scam you on the fine print.
