If you're thinking about putting your item into the facility please think again. The property manager is never there so if you have any problems they will take months to get to you. After being locked out of my unit for several months because the property manager lost my key I was finally able to get into my unit, which was infested with RODENTS. There was rat poop everywhere they ate through all my property, there were dead rodents in my clothes and one even chased me out the unit. Renting units at this facility is my biggest regret this year. I've had the same issue/complaint since less than one week after storing my furniture and property here in June 2025. I'm paying for 2 climate control units, yet the facility is never cool. Last night's temperature in the facility was 92 degrees. Unfortunately, I won't be able to afford to pay a service to move my furniture and belongings to a different facility until October. I'm praying the Texas heat and rodents I saw in there last night, 8/23/2025, don't destroy my property before then. read more

Management is always on near by if I have questions and walked me through everything. The last time I used PS I said I wouldn't do it again. Paid two months included one mone free. Before the end of the month they locked my storage saying non payment. This time get an itemized bill showing my next payment. read more

Horrible Experience! Was provided a quote and reservation number. Upon arriving at the facility, I was told there were no more units available at the price I was quoted. I really did not enjoy storing with Public Storage and I will look for a different company in the future. Below are some of the issues I encountered. 1. Fee Increases. When I first started, my "rent" was around $70 per month. Fantastic! However, I was not told this was a promotional rate that would expire. Six months later (when I was across the country and could not have my things moved to another facility), my rent went up about 50% from ~$70 to $105 per month. I called and the woman at the front desk was astonished that my rate had increased so much. The manager who called me back, however, was insistent this was "market value." One year after that, my rent went up to $121, which represents a more than 70% increase in my monthly rent from my starting cost. When I called to ask about these increases, I was again told this was the "market value" and nothing could be done. Despite this being the "market value," it was easy to find alternative rental units with more affordable prices (that verified that their prices do not increase at the rates I experienced with Public Storage). 2. Move Out. I moved my things out of the unit on the 5th of the month and called to cancel my unit on the 6th. I had just been charged $121 on the 1st of the month. I was told that after the rent has been withdrawn at the beginning of the month, there are no prorated refunds. So, if you don't want to pay for a month that you aren't going to use, make sure you move out at the END of the month. Hopefully this works for your other moving plans. 3. This unit is pretty far out of the way. I assumed this was why the rent was so much cheaper than other facilities, but see point 1 above: the rent goes up and quickly catches up with what you'd pay all around Houston and Spring. If I had known the rent would increase so much, I would have chosen a facility in a more convenient location. On a positive note, the staff was friendly. I never had any negative experiences in that respect. The storage spaces are also nice and climate-controlled. I left a very expensive couch in the unit for 2 years, and it was like new when I returned. However, this is pretty standard across all climate-controlled facilities. For the reasons outlined above, I would choose another climate-controlled facility over this one in the future. read more

My question to the the people who commented before me is. Was one of your units broken into? This place is not professional I rented an inside unit assuming that it will be secure instead my unit and a few others were broken in to Laquita was not helpful. And she is the property Mgr. I called the area manager Michelle and left her a voice mail message to speak to her about my unit and that bitch has not called me back yet. I will never rent from public storage again and will never recommend to anyone. Public Storage is a terrible company. Would not recommend to anyone looking for storage. Unit broken into multiple time and never did anything about, probably inside job. Change rent with out notifying owners and then charge late fee because the the rent is not enough. No one to talk to. Phone numbers won't allow you to actually talk to someone.
