They went the extra mile with every step. They spoke to us and treated our things with the utmost respect. Used Jonah's Movers to help unload my truck and trailer into our new home. We hired the movers for 5 hours. They guys were able to finish the unloading within 3 hours (we have a 2 story house. They put every box in the room it belonged in. Including upstairs. So all we had to do was start unpacking) and helped us re-assemble our furniture without any instructions. That helped a lot because we didn't remember how we took it apart. They were still able to leave early. We were only charged for the time we used. What I can say is that the stuff got from point A to point B. Nice, polite young men. However, they did not take the care in packing and moving that I expected. A couple of the pieces of furniture arrived with damage. They took no care in wrapping things properly, which made unpacking precarious to say the least. Books were just thrown into boxes. As part of the move, some stuff was going to the new residence and some was going to a storage unit. I carefully marked everything as to where it would go. Yet, much of the stuff that was to be delivered to the residence, apparently went to storage as it is not here. And many of the storage boxes wound up at the residence. Now I am tasked with going to the storage unit to go through boxes and find the items that are missing. read more

Upon booking Jonah's for service they were all very friendly and informative. The day before my move they asked me if I would mind pushing back my move so they could attend to another client, I kindly accepted. On the day of my move Cliff called and said out of courtesy they were going to send me a three man moving crew instead on a two man, at no additional charge. That was very kind. My reason for only three stars is, 1.) one of the men on the crew was new to the team 2.) they broke a mirror to one of my dressers 3.) They promised they would call me back the next day regarding my mirror and they haven't. Overall my only compliant was the broken mirror. Would I book them again? Probably! We have used Jonah Movers twice now. The first time was July 3'rd and we had Jesus, Himey, and Demetrius who were helping us do a local move. They were on time and professional. They took care to wrap everything carefully and it showed as we had no damaged furniture for this move which was great. At the new house, they wrapped columns in our house that were out in the open to prevent them from being scraped as they were moving stuff. that was definitely a nice touch. The second time we used them was today and had Clayton, Demetrius and someone else who unfortunately I don't remember their name, but they were still a great group of guys who quickly and professionally moved the rest of our items from 2 storage lockers to our house. This is my first review, the movers just finished and I felt I needed to write them a huge thanks! They were so professional and hustled the whole time but were very careful with our furniture. They do it all, wrapped all of our belongings with blanket pads and taped them all up. Our furniture arrived exactly as it was when we started. If you could give 10 stars I would!! From the initial quote from Jonah to the final delivery of our things by Andre and Jaime, it was a dream experience! We were not an easy move either, we had to rent a Uhaul truck and Jonah stored it in his storage for over 2 weeks, due to setbacks with our new home close (moved 5 times!). Jonah never had an issue and worked with us and our circumstances every time. Andre and Jaime did the initial load and final delivery of the truck, making sure they took the best of care of all our things at every point in the process and were personable and professional. Nothing broken or tampered with and in the same condition as when they wrapped and put on the truck, you could not ask for any better. AND...the price was VERY affordable too! I highly recommend Jonah movers. They packed my belongings into 2 16' PODS to travel from TX to CA. Everything was wrapped and handled with care. They were very careful with all my items and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. Upon arrival in CA when the PODS drivers set the PODS down they had me unlock the doors to make sure they would open. When they lifted the doors everything was still in place. Feb 26 i had scheduled a move from Houston to Plano. I had to make a last minute change to the 25th due to scheduling conflict at my new high apartment. I'm very experienced in moving, as I've moved over 10 times in the last 12 years. This is by far my beat moving experience. Three key things stand out. 1) Jose and Cale never once walked from my apartment to their truck and vice versa. They had urgency 2) They were completely professional and answered all my questions, but most importantly they exemplified exceptional customer service. This just not happen with our labor forces today. 3) These two men worked amazing together, and dos the work and faster than most three man teams I've had i. the past. A+ 5* and a 10 of 10. Ricardo and his team showed up on time, in good spirits, and made this move the easiest and most enjoyable we've ever done! (And we have moved a lot!!) Since we also hired them to help us with packing our things before the actual move, I can confirm they do every step in the process with care. They wrapped items I never would have expected them to, even things that weren't very fragile. It was clear they aimed to make sure not a single piece of furniture or any personal item was damaged (and they succeeded!) They put a runner down over the floors to protect them as they were bringing items inside and were very careful about the walls as well. The "5 Star" reviews are legit!! Jonah's Movers was first class from start to finish. I shopped around quite a bit comparing reviews and prices for my move. Jonah's wasn't the cheapest but they were the best price for the ratings/reviews I found -- and the eventual value for the service we received. We were moving back to the Houston area from out of state so all I needed was help unloading a 26' u-haul truck. Andre, Trevor, and Jimmy had the truck unloaded in about two hours and since there was a two and a half hour minimum for three guys, they had our beds, kitchen table, and my office desk assembled in a short few minutes later. We plan to buy a house in 18-24 months and I KNOW FOR CERTAIN we'll use Jonah's Movers when we move there! read more

I wish that I could add 5 more stars! I sold my house in Rosehill and stored my goods over at Iron Guard on 2920. Have used Jonah three times. Two moves into Iron Guard and then they loaded up three pods for my 1,100 mile move. I packed my own boxes...you can buy them online from Uline. Another great vendor. I also purchased 6 dozen moving pads on EBay. Jonah used my moving pads and they shrink wrapped all of my leather/wood goods. That said, my Pods are here and everything is GREAT!
