I arrived at this Public Storage location along with two other customers, and the employee on duty refused to answer the door. We knocked multiple times, waited, and even called the office phone several times with no response. After contacting corporate to report the issue, the same employee suddenly called me back claiming he had been there the entire time -- which was clearly not the case. When I finally spoke with him, he was extremely unprofessional, mocking what I said instead of addressing the issue seriously. His behavior was immature, disrespectful, and completely inappropriate for someone representing a national company. I've already reported him to corporate for his conduct, and I sincerely hope they review his behavior and take corrective action. This location desperately needs better management and staff who actually care about customers. I've rented from this company for close to 30 years, always my go to for storage. Never again. A HUGE THANK YOU to David who made my life easier. This past weekend, I went online and decided to rent a storage unit. Received an alert that my unit was ready & I could pick up my keys and lock. I had a difficult time opening/ closing the sliding mechanism as it had come off track. I called David at the rental office and he had it fixed within a 24 hour turn-around on the weekend. I was able to move my items into the unit. David was also kind enough to sweep and clean the unit floor. Thank you again for excellent customer service! read more

PRICE GOUGERS. Plain & simple. I have rented units here for over 6 years so long time customer. Continuously raised rate on a 10x20 storage unit to $1100+/month. If you go online, their price is much much less - so they tell you to move units. Isn't that a bit ridiculous? In checking other local self-storage facilities, prices are much less and quality is significantly better. I moved. I would "buy local" and not continue to feed this corporate company who cares less about the local community. read more

It is unfortunate that they continue to increase rents every 3 months. Lots of bait and switch. There are places in this area besides here that will not raise your rent all the time. They always blame it on "corporate". As in previous reviews, not the best customer service unless you reach out to the manager. read more

There's not really much that usually can go wrong with storage so you know when things have gone wrong they REALLY have. Elevators were broken on a day I had rented a moving van and brought stuff to my unit on the second floor. No stairs were left open during access hours to get to my unit on the second floor. Nor was there any notice given in advance saying that the elevators would be down for 2-3 WEEKS. Wasted my time and my money. Every single time I went to talk to the property manager during open hours, there was no one in sight. I'd even wait 15 minutes or so sometimes. No one ever showed up. Doors were always locked. Bathroom was always inaccessible. The few times I did interact with the property manager weren't pleasant. Nor were any interactions with anyone from corporate. They raise the rent without giving you any warning in advance. Other Public Storage locations at least let you know before raising the monthly rent. Terrible & overpriced. They used to prorate the rent here but apparently that's no longer the case. They might want to change the wording of their emails then once storage tenants move out so it doesn't say that we can expect to receive any balance that is owed. You WON'T GET ANY MONEY BACK if you move out during the first week or the second week of the month... or the last week. They will charge you for the entire month regardless. Worst policy ever. But what's even worse than the terrible policy is their poor attitude that you won't get any money back. Then they tell you to check your lease and when you ask for a copy they'll tell you to go online. Constantly running in circles like a hamster. No thank you. Never again!!!! If you're interested in better storage units try Plano or SoCal Storage!! read more

This place has money grab policies. Our contract termination date landed on a holiday weekend so there was no one in the office to receive our keys. They automatically charged us an additional month and claim the boss will not allow them to prorate the difference so we have to pay the entire month. Poor customer service policies just to secure a little extra money. Short sighted rules like this will ensure we use an different facility in the future. read more

Had a spot here for a little over a year. They raised the rent twice within that time. I called to check prices of the same size unit I had and was quoted a much cheaper price. I asked if they could reduce mine to what new customers are getting and they said maybe if I move units. This is a horrible business practice to raise rent on existing customers. They bet on the fact that people won't take the time to move their junk if they raise the rent but with the cost of a u-haul and the same size unit at another place, I still saved on what they were charging me. Don't let them get away with raising rent for no reason. read more

Service has been great up until this past 2 months. Not sure what happened but it's been 2+ weeks of consistent requests to have them turn the lights on in our unit. Whoever the employee was they didn't put the request in to the system until this week and now we're told it'll take another week for them to get someone to fix the light. Absolutely ridiculous that it takes things long to fix a basic utility for this unit. Terrible. read more

When we came back with our truck of items, a local volunteer security guard helped us load items onto dollies while we unloaded into them into the unit.
