Hilariously bad. They ask you to rate them five stars before you even move in which is probably why they have a decent rating. I understand that all self-storage places entice you with a low rate and then immediately start raising the rent. However, this place has been the most egregious. They raised the rent twice in 10 months for a total of 22%. Also, they don't have hand carts that you can easily use. You have to go and get some silly coin from the office and deposit it in some machine and then you can unlatch the cart. I will never do business with these people ever again. read more

I honestly can't say enough good things about Jessica! She consistently goes above and beyond to make every visit easier and more comfortable. She's always offering a helping hand, and her kindness shines through in the little moments--like when she sees my 4-year-old and I rushing to the restroom and makes sure to open the gate and bathroom for us without hesitation. I've been a customer of Price for years now. Reasons for 1 star: Aside from the CONSTANT increases in rent, they will go to great lengths to make sure you feel unvalued as a customer. "If you don't like it, then move" attitude. Last month, we opted to upgrade our unit to a unit that is double the size. We moved our stuff out of of the old unit and into the new one. I asked for a pro-rated refund on the old unit, since we only used 5 days out of the 30 day month. They refused any sort of help, and told me I owed them that money because it wasn't a transfer. I told them it literally was a transfer...Its why we got a larger unit. Manager said, well "it wasn't set up that way in the system" so yeah, no refund, no credit, no nothing. Awesome service as usual! Can't wait to be done with these guys. read more

BE CAREFUL! They offer a "special" rate & then hit you with a 10% increase within a few months. Oh, then they hit you with ANOTHER 10% increase a few month later. So in less than a year the rate you initially signed up for goes up 20%. Do they tell you this when you sign up - NO. Very deceptive! Ask questions wherever you go about their rate increase policy. Final comment - we do not recommend Price Self Storage due to their lack of transparency & suck you in deceptive practices. read more

I've been a customer at price self storage for about two years Kianna and Ashley are great. They are are always friendly and welcoming any time I go to the office. They take good care of the facility, the bathrooms are always clean. The outdoor well maintained. Every time I'm at storage they are working on a project wether is painting, scraping the gum off the floor, sweeping the facility. Unfortunately, I am very VERY disappointed in how I have been treated at this facility while storing household goods. When I recently let the staff know I would be giving my notice to vacate, I was told it would be prorated (I gave a more than the required notice). The online pay system did NOT reflect the prorated amount so I couldn't pay online, and when I called in to pay I was told that I'd have to pay the full amount plus late fee. They told me that I should have called in to pay over the phone, but the first girl I talked to previously to that said they don't take cards over the phone. I don't live locally and I can't come into the store to pay. How was I supposed to pay this? WTF. They refused to make any exceptions to reinstate the prorated amount and still charged me a late fee, adding that "there is nothing we can do about it". No matter if I gave more than the required notice. No matter the phone pay system wouldn't take the prorated amount. Needless to say, this fiasco ruined our moving plans which had to be rescheduled. Pretty infuriating. The facility is overpriced, and also holds very inconvenient hours, and a staff that can't be found half the time. They actively solicit for a "5 star review" on Yelp, but don't actually provide that level of customer service. There are absolutely better ways to do business than this, I highly recommend NOT storing your things here and finding another local company that will work out an issue fairly rather than just say OH WELL. read more

The new manager is so unprofessional she started harassing me the day my payment was due saying that it was late, not complying to pay it right there an then she got upset, I clearly reminded her that the day was not over so my payment was not either, next month I received an email saying my rent was going up over 50 dollars without even a 30 day notice, less then 2 weeks notice, once I asked her for the owners information vie emails she asked me to contact her directly which I refuse an they will lose my business!!!! I've been a tenant at Price for probably 5 years now. I'm finally moving out, and Mikole has really made my experience in these last weeks. I was having a hard time getting one last large piece out of the unit, showed up today with a $50 balance, and she waived it because I'd been with them for so long. She's always been professional, kind, and even made it a point to remember my name. I was not the biggest fan of past management, but she has completely turned around my feelings about the facility. Units are much more secure than other places I've rented from (the indoor ones even have doors with passcode pads), and the office is open until 6:30 every day. I would recommend Price to anyone looking for extra space to store their belongings. I felt my things were safe, and that I was genuinely cared for by the staff. read more

Nice clean place and friendly staff. I didn't like all the admin and signup fees, also the $15 cylinder lock I had to purchase. Also $14 insurance is borderline scammy. I mean how many storage units have caught fire in the last 20 years? They offer a free van with driver but are usually booked most weekends and around the first of the month I wasn't able to sue it, but it was there and I am sure it is helpful if you are moving some stuff around. I see the same problems with many storage companies, nickel-dime fees. However I would have no problem renting here again should I need the space, and I do recommend it to others in the area. read more

Kelly, I realize you were just doing your job however the information you provided is not accurate and many aspects. I can't believe I paid as much as I did for as long as I had for my storage unit. PSS still has the highest storage rental fees, most rate increases and yet offers no climate control. I have no complaints against any of the employees except for Ryan. Micole, mgr. is excellent with customers and a consumate professional. Haven't had issues with facility but for any facility to do rent increases multiple times with in 4 months is ridiculous. I can understand once a year but every 3 months since a "low" start rate is ridiculous. And frankly a scam in any aspect of having only been renting for 6 months. With a rate now being much higher then any competitor in the county. I have been renting at Price since October 2018 and have rented at various storage places pretty consistently for about 20 years. No matter the company they have ALWAYS been professional and I've Never had any issues until now. At first the girls in the office were nice and friendly. But shortly thereafter things went down hill. One specific young girl always had a sour puss look on her face and every time I would said hello she would just glare back. She was even very nasty and insisted I give her a credit card or my drivers license when I went to use a trolley cart after moving in, and which I had done several time before with no issue. Her own manager at the time had told me I didn't need to do that as " they all knew me and I was good ". Finally she left working there but unfortunately she came back. Recently I spoke to the new manager and asked if people were living in the storage units because of transient type of people/person who is disheveled and dirty, coming into the building several times where my unit is. The manager and I spoke at length about that claiming they had no knowledge ( there is video of the property so it could be reviewed if they wanted ) also about multi times I've encountered people showering in the bathroom and leaving whisker shaving etc in the sink. No problem ( or so I thought ) as I felt more at ease after the conversation with the manager. However, this morning as I was leaving I stopped to wash out a tiny water bowl I have in the car for my pet cockatiel who goes with me everywhere. I left the door open since it was a quick process and the same sour puss who is once again working there comes up behind me and tells me there is no washing (showering) in the bathroom. Are you kidding me ? She went into the office next door and when I went to confront her on the fact I didn't like being falsely accused of showering in there, the door was locked. She turned to look at me through the glass but didn't open the door so I said it through the glass not to falsely accuse me of showering in there and her response was she was watching me. After calling the Corp office, the district mgr read her response and it was filled with absolute bs. Watch the video and then tell me the same thing. And btw... this is the same employee who as soon as she gets to work in the morning goes and uses the same bathroom herself for up to 30+ minutes and it isn't because she is cleaning it either ! Hopefully with this new manager things will turn around. read more
