We have a 10x15 storage unit. With all the fee's it came to $268 a month. They are raising it up to $340! They are absolutely crazy. There is NEVER anyone there and by mistake, we pulled up to the wrong unit and OUR KEY opened THEIR lock!! They raise the price all the time and don't get fooled into the great deal they give you at first because you will end up like we did. Ripped off read more

Attempted to move out of a unit in the D building into a smaller unit in the C building. The outside entry door to the C building (that had been difficult to open for days) was stuck and we were unable to open it. I left a message during business hours and to date (6days later) have not received a call back regarding the issue. I had to cancel my helpers and will now have to pay rent for another month for the D building unit. Rodent, mold, and insect problem resulted in over $2000 of items having to be thrown out. I believe a big part of this is that the unit in question has a back wall where the rodents and insects can easily get in from outside. Also, there is a small hole in the siding where I can see daylight. I was told it was supposed to be like that when I first moved in but now I am thinking that is what contributed to the moisture problem. Consider a unit that does not have a wall that leads to outside if you must rent here. read more

This facility is not worth leaving your valuables there. It's damp and musty, even the inside units. Your belongings will get moldy because of this. The doors on buildings are hard to open because of the pavement rising up during the winter months. It's extremely over priced for the value you and conditions you get. I was a customer there for many years. I started there cause the price was around $100 for a 10 x 10. Now it costs me over $300 for the same unit and the no upgrades. They continue to raise the price even though there is no upgrades at all to justify a price increase of 5 to 10% each year. I left and got a climate controlled unit elsewhere for less than a 100 for the same size unit. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place if you really value your belongings you want to store. read more

From the 1st minute we went into unit; the light bulb was out we called, messaged and nobody responded. There is a serious lack of any carts to help get items in or out. We also called, messaged and nobody responded. We even caught someone in the office & took our information & concerns and as it goes nobody responded. It might be a few dollars cheaper but they evidently do not care about any concerns you have. Could not even imagine if it was a real problem like damage or something. We advise to shop somewhere mire reliable. read more

Easy process to get my storage space and perfect sized unit for what I needed. Price is good compared to some others I shopped and set up was pretty simple. Only downside is that it closes at 9 pm, which made it a little hard to move my stuff in was on a time crunch. read more

I have two units rented at this facility. the grounds are clean very secure, and the units are very easily accessible. The office guy. Mike is always super nice and very willing to help with anything I've needed. I appreciate the service I get from this facility. read more

Just found out after renting a unit for 5 years that none of the cameras have been working for over a year. When questioned on it the area manager said that they don't need to have cameras it's not part of the rent but this is one thing they point out as a security feature when you rent the unit. read more

I would give them more than 5 but that is the limit. Family emergency required me to leave before finishing and they let me leave my u-haul trailer outside their property but in a service area so i didn't have to haul it on the njtpke pay tolls and gas both ways extra was very nice of them. read more

Could not stand this ed guy. Eck! Very rude and annoying. I worked with him for my 1st unit and I was glad I wasn't alone I would have been more nervous. Then I rented a second unit from a woman (can't remember her name) she was nice but was very insistent on me giving her a Google review. She even called me to ask me to do it. Which I found highly unprofessional. As for the units they are nothing to brag about but they weren't filthy. read more

Human tooth, no cameras, billed EXTRA month, refused refund, & will not return calls for refund. And why do the Google reviews all mention Ed by name right away? Never seen such a thing. It's very odd. Reminds me of fake shill reviews... We were billed an extra month ahead of time even though we removed all belongings and checked out of the unit before the previous month was even up! We were told by Ed that he couldn't do anything about it if he wanted to. We contacted the higher office, as he suggested, and left messages. They have refused to call back, and they have not refunded a cent. On top of that, we were not informed that the facility has NO cameras and we found a human tooth directly in front of our door, complete with the root and what appeared to be blood. What was their response? They were going to just toss it in the trash until we suggested they hold onto it in case police would like to know. Photos of tooth uploaded. Simple process. Very nice facility. Friendly staff. Made everything very comfortable. So far, so good.

I have been renting at this Storage Facility for almost 16 months and my price for an 8X10 as gone from $85/month to now $135/month. While that price is sort of inline with other storage places, it is very galling that they give you a notice that the price is increasing WITHOUT any explanation as to why. Also, I hope that any increase goes to fix the place up. Latches that are used to hold outside doors open are broken or non-existent so you have to prop one of your boxes to keep the door open. Several potholes, and one right when you enter, were there for months (not sure if they are still there). Frankly, with the increase in pricing, I am now considering cleaning out my garage and taking everything back home. read more

The girl at the desk (Sam) was personable and efficient. No problems there. My problem is with the company policies = HIDDEN FEES. The website says you're getting the first month for $1. Not even close. Even after TWO phone conversations while I was making choices I was never told there is REQUIRED insurance (which, as the joke goes, seems to cover everything except what happens to you. For example, I was encouraged to tarp/cover my soft chair - why do I need to if it's insured? To sell product, of course, but again, why do I have to worry if it's insured?). Then there's the REQUIRED $20 lock fee. I wasn't informed about this beforehand or I could have bought a padlock of my own for much less. After all these fees and taxes, I came mid-month and my first two weeks turned out to be over $60...hardly "First month for a $1". If I hadn't already loaded all my belongings in a heat wave I might have gone to the other company I had considered and maybe I would have fared better. read more

This place is horrible. I had to leave this storage facility after only two months. They have a bad insect problem. They are constantly trying to bill you for additional fees. I moved out because their manager was rude and she kept billing me incorrectly. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. read more

I've been a customer for more then 15 years at this same location. The facility is kept clean under good security. The access to the grounds is fine and only ten minutes from my home. The rental charges have been fair, although over the past couple of years they have risen more than average. Overall, I have a good experience with Public Storage. Ed is now the manager...friendly and helpful. read more

I have been renting here for over 10 years, in that time I've seen the property quickly get worse and worse, maintenance is not a word you will find in public storages vocabulary nor is fair treatment of customers, the property managers are always very friendly and know how to treat a person , but i think thats because they are actors like someone flipped off a switch and they were fed words , its kindof insulting to them and the customers, but try to deal with customer service is a joke and forget about being a loyal customer you get nothing not even a fee removed, this property is very unsafe I doubt they have cameras and there have been a few times the gate is just open for months, my building is absoluy covered in mold and my items were very damaged, the carts they have when u can find them and half broken and the property is in desperate need of repaving I almost turned my ankle in a pot hole, the property is almost 20 years old and still looks as tho it has original everything even paint, I would not reccomend this property unless you complete seal everything you have in bags totes , you will get mold and every thing just smells of it read more
