HER customer service gets a 10 out if 5 because she was definitely ON IT. This explains why this location has such great reviews. Thanks Amy! Original issue: Online move in process was great. My family has had a storage unit here for about 2 years...no issues. Then I decided to get another unit. Unfortunately, the gate is broken so when I went back to put things in the unit I couldn't get in the gate. Came back in the morning before work to try again, still no luck getting in. Turns out the gate is broken and we weren't told this when getting the unit. I dont mind the gate being broken- thats perfectly out of their control and they will be fixing it within about 10 days they said. My issue is with the fact that I wasn't notified, the sign on the gate remains indicating that it is open from 6am to 9pm, so twice I went within that time frame and couldn't get through. After calling this morning the person answering talked over us and wouldn't let us explain that the sign on the gate should indicate the ACTUAL CURRENT TIMES YOU CAN ENTER. Literally she hung up after talking over us and saying what she had to say. Now all my stuff has been sitting in a car overnight which isn't safe, and my one request that the times on the gate AND the website be reflective of actual times you can enter the property went unheard. Tried calling general customer service but it just loops you back to your local one. Again- the issue isn't in the gate being broken its the lack of competence and ability to effectively communicate current changes in time. I'm going to need them to get it together and do better.

Sadly, they were recently bought out by something called MyPlace Storage--the service is nonexistent; not open when they say they are; secure entry gate is broken and remains open; the garage door where you unload and load your belongings is broken and remains up; and, worse, the doors to the hallways leading to all the climate-controlled units are open to anyone and everyone. I will be looking for another storage facility now that Award has left the building ... Not recommended.

This storage facility was perfect for what I needed for a few months. I rented a climate controlled unit that included storing my cozy couch! Once I removed my things out of the unit, the items were exactly the same. If you rent a climate controlled unit -- you can only go into your storage unit during their business hours. Award Self Storage offers: a truck to move-in (did not use), along with several boxes and 2nd month rent for FREE! The facility sells boxes and such for typical moving needs. They also have carts inside the storage building to assist with moving items. Overall, this establishment did it's job and I had no issues while there. Also, the staff are nice and helpful when needed. Award Self Storage is 20 mins from Philadelphia which was a major plus!

Making the reservation online was simple, then Lion followed up with a phone call just to verify everything and to make sure we knew how to find them. Upon getting there, the whole process was painless. The woman who helped me with the paperwork was really friendly, and got me through it in no time. A gentleman helped Marcelo hook everything up, and helped us insure that everything was connected properly before sending us on our way. Amazing customer service here, and if we ever need a UHaul rental again, this will be our place.

I was only there for a bit over a year, and they raised prices quite a few times CSS was raising the price nearly every month for the last two-three months that I rented the unit. Understandably prices fluctuate and may raise over time, however raising rents multiple months in a row is frustrating, especially for a place where you are just storing items. The payment processing system is archaic. While conveniently allowing you to pay online, it doesn't allow you to pay a partial, or update auto-pay information if you want to use a different or new card.

Just to mention a few issues: Someone else mentioned this in another review, Sinclair raised our quote one week before moving by $400. They also made us pay for a crew of more people of what then showed up (as we paid for 5 guys, 4 showed up) both at origin and destination. The move "specialist" was terrible, confusing, misleading, he even yelled at me on the phone! I had to put so many claims for everything they broke and lost. Stay away from them. Please, Sinclair, do NOT respond to my review. I don't want to deal with you ever again.

It was denied because apparently we had signed a form saying we received all of these items. We thought we were signing a receipt of delivery. DO NOT SIGN this form. We went back to Sinclair again seeking resolution. They offered to send us less than half of the amount needed to replace the lost items. Since we were so tired of dealing with them we agreed. However, that was weeks ago. Still no check!! We also have discovered several other things missing. I've held off on this review hoping for resolution but I finally realized that was not going to happen. We are so disgusted. I would not recommend Sinclair.

The crew - John, Harry, and Benjamin --was warm, organized, fast, fun to be around, and not a single item went missing, broken, or damaged. They even moved the piano. Suburban Propane is the worst company I've ever had to deal with,ever. Their customer service is…read morehorrible. Their prices are the highest. Since December 7th 2018 up until January 14th 2019 I've paid over $1,200 for propane. They price gouge you to death. This is my first time dealing with propane and I use it only to heat my own. And they've done nothing but take advantage of me. I've never written a review about any company I've ever dealt with. What this company has done nothing but ripped me off since I started using them. Starting February 11th I found another company that will service me. And their price for propane is almost a full dollar a gallon less. I hate Suburban Propane and would never recommend them to anyone. Please stay away from Suburban Propane they're the worst.
