It is so refreshing when you encounter an employee who is competent, knowledgeable & actually cares about YOU, the customer. Angela, who Is a lead trainer, & I believe a manager (if she isn't, she SHOULD be) is one of those employees. Angela sorted through a crazy mix-up with our storage spaces, created by a different employee at a different location. She reached out to us with many phone calls, keeping us informed about her efforts to make a stressful situation right for us. Angela took matters into her hands, because she whole-heartedly wanted our situation to be corrected, and for us to be treated fairly. We are incredibly thankful for Angela's determination, experience & knowledge. I have no doubt that without her, our tangled situation would not have been resolved. We recently sold our home and rented some storage units for our household items until our new home is ready. However, the elevator in the building was not working. This is a TERRIBLE situation for our movers who needed to unload a huge truck of our stuff into our spaces. We decided to transfer our spaces - one to a different location nearby - (Angela's location) with a working elevator. From there, everything got scrambled. But from the moment we met & spoke with Angela about everything it was clear that she was thoroughly frustrated that this happened to us...& she was going to get it straightened out. It took a few days- but SHE DID IT!! Diligent, kind, knowledgeable, experienced & smart! This is Angela! I highly recommend her & her location & team. Nothing wrong with the storage unit, but the price increases are unbelievable. I was paying $69 for 10x10 and then Public Storage bought the storage company I was using. They increased the rates to $99, $132, $153, $173 in quick succession. I would never use them again because of this. The same size unit next to me was paying $80. Public Storage totally screwed me over. They are vultures. I moved nearby and got a 10x5 unit for $30. read more

Good units, but the access driveways in side are pretty tight for multiple pickup trucks.

Storage Units are clean and access to the units are acceptable as long as not more than three renters are using the Inside Access Way at the same time. When more than three vehicles are parked inside, passage is restricted. Public Storage claims that they provide Climate Controlled Units but their idea of climate controlled isn't anything near my expectations. I started renting a 10'x15' unit In Dec 2024 for $143 per month including Insurance. In May 2025, the price increased to $190 per month and I just received notice that effective Feb 2026 that my monthly cost will increase again to $248 per month. An increase of $105 in just over a year. Unbelievable! Not worth it. I will be out of my Unit before the end of January. read more

My husband and I rented with Public Storage for over a year, never missed a payment, never late. We started at one rate, and throughout our lease our rate was raised which I understand happens. But when you jump out rate from $261 to $323, then I'm sorry but you're going to lose business. Not to mention accessing the units inside is the most clustered @&$/ I've ever seen. Cars have been hit , uh Al trucks have hit poles, all because of how horrible the set up is. On the 1st, we vacated the unit and my husband informed Stacy. Well we just received a phone call that Stacy didn't notate the account so they're trying to charge us for the entire month of $323 for the 1 day we were there moving our stuff out. Our last gate input was at 7:30pm so because we were there on the 1st, there isn't anything they "can" do. More like willing to do. We have had difficulties in our life that prevent us from being able to afford that much. But Public Storage is month to month. You pay for the month you're going to be there. Not the month you were there. That's why when you move in you pay for that month you're about to occupy the unit. I offered to pay the prorated amount and according to Leslie they only allow prorating at the beginning of your lease, not when you leave. Of course, because they want your money. So they want me to pay for the unit for a month that we're not there, but then they rent out that same unit so they get a double payment on the unit. Now I know why they jump the rates up so high, because they know this will happen. Leslie offered to let me pay half of the rent for the 1 freaking day we were there... That's $161... DO NOT RENT HERE!! I promise you will regret it. Not right off, but you will... They have zero compassion. They claim to want to work with you, but if they truly did, then they wouldn't call me on our holiday insisting that we pay $323 for the 1 day we moved our stuff out. Despite us telling their employee that we were moving out. But because she forgot to notate our account, we get screwed. I apologize Public Storage, but you will NEVER have us as customers again. This company only cares about money money money!!! Edit---- I forgot to post, Leslie's response "well I'm sorry you don't like my answer." At least Tia was good at pretending to care with her "I'm on your side, I'll see what I can do." I've worked in customer service and I was in sales.. No she is not on my side. She is empathizing so when she comes back with a "I'm sorry I wasn't able to do anything" I'll feel like she really tried and I'll pay the $323 enthusiastically thinking she actually tried. Tia was at least kind. And she's good at customer service, I just know the lies and tactics they teach. read more

I gave written notice that I would relinquish my unit on May 31, 2023 but my account was cancelled May 22, 2023, with 9 days left on my rental unit. I had called twice trying to speak to someone in the last two months as I had set up auto pay and it never would deduct my payment, just send notices I hadn't paid. No one EVER returned either phone calls and you can NEVER find anyone on the premises. I will never do business with this Company again. read more
