I have stored belongings here for a while during the course of a couple of relocations. There's nothing fancy about the place, but it gets the job done. The staff has been very helpful the few times I have needed assistance. Will, who manages the property, was professional in answering all of my questions when I recently switched to a smaller unit to save money. (They will even pro-rate your rent in a situation like that, even though you have a month to month lease.) I think they still offer $1 for the first month. Besides that, this location is very convenient (on Nesconset Highway). My only suggestion would be to put some sort of a timer on the hallway lighting (as it is, it is motion detected and goes out on its own) so the lights stay on while I'm in my unit. read more

Great location for our needs. Easy access and the office personnel were superb. My husband and I personally dealt with Will the Saturday we went in to rent our unit. We were lucky enough to reserve a very rare 10x25 unit the day before at this particualr Public Storage. Upon arrival, Will escorted us to the unit to show us the size & features. At no point did we feel any pressure to rent the unit as we did at other storage facilities in the days prior. We decided to rent the unit and proceeded back to the office with Will to process the paperwork. Will went over the paperwork in detail and we were out within 10 minutes. Very seamless process. WORST EVER! Your stuff is NOT SAFE THERE! Dozens of units were burglarized in July 2021 over the course of HOURS & HOURS yet no alarms even went off! They could care less about your missing stuff and continue to keep GATES OPEN ALL DAY! Zero security and after all that happened they do nothing! Recently cut the hours so it's impossible to have access if you work a 9-5pm job! Nesconset Public Storage has been a nightmare. Also- forget finding a cart or dumpster if you need it. STAY AWAY if you care about your stuff!! read more

The units are in tip top shape and it is most obvious to me that they care about the clients and the professionalism it takes to continue in striding to meet there continued goal of excellence. Carmen is extremely friendly and helpful. She helped me find a larger additional unit when I needed it without any advanced notice. She also gave me several options so I could save money. She was very knowledgeable about the size of the units and was very honest about what was suitable for my needs. I highly recommend this location. We have all of our possessions in public storage so you can imagine how are mindful of not only fitting everything but security as well.
