Worst customer service I've ever experienced I rented a storage unit online and received all the information I needed by email--access code, unit number, etc. On moving day, I stopped by the facility to make sure I could access my unit and direct my movers. When I arrived, the gate code I was given didn't work. I had to wait for someone to show up, and the employee (Matt) arrived 30 minutes after the office was supposed to open. From the start, he was rude and unprofessional. When I explained the situation and that I had been waiting, his response was, "Well, you're lucky I even showed up to work today." Absolutely unacceptable. When I asked where my unit was, he told me to "get back in my little car" and drive to another building, offering no map, directions, or help. It turned out the building was hidden behind another business's parking lot--not something you'd easily find if you've never been there before. Once I finally located the building, my unit was still sealed and had no lock or key inside, despite Matt saying it would be there. The lack of assistance, unprofessional attitude, and overall dismissiveness told me everything I needed to know. I walked away, went straight to a U-Haul storage nearby, and within minutes I had a unit, a clear map, and an employee who actually walked me to it to make sure I knew where it was. That's what real customer service looks like. Save yourself the headache--skip this place. read more

Called ahead of time to make sure that the office was open so I could pick up my key. I was told they close at 5 yet when I arrived at 4:30 the doors are locked and there's no one in the office. Extremely inconvenient. read more

I have rented at multiple other PS locations. This one has taught me to take my business elsewhere and no longer use PS. After A MONTH AND A HALF of having my belongings in the unit i went to retrieve my items just to find about 80% of my items damaged due to a rat infestation which led to my things being chewed on, pissed on and pooped on. I was given a pamphlet to call the insurance and file a claim. Unfortunately the insurance coveres little to nothing for "Vermin Damage" upon notifying them the only answer i got was the rental agreement has a store at your own risk clause. Which i highly doubt covers a company having a rat issue. To be upset and heartbroken is an understatement. I have lost everything and am now sitting in an empty apartment due to this loss. Please do not use this place. Your losses mean nothing to them. read more

Terrible customer service, they leave the office for long periods of time, no one ever answers the phone. I don't know the names but I think her name was Cindy when I finally got through to someone and she was extremely rude. Rent will go up no matter what. Also, God forbid you're a few days late because you will get texts and emails threatening to put a lien on your belongings. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!! read more

The price of the unit almost doubled from $19 a month to $35. They charge for a lock even if you don't need one and fees to move in. You want a callback, get in line all you are to this company is a sucker. a 5x5 for $35 bucks get real. Greedy people. read more

If you're looking for storage space, there's plenty of room. Just don't count on having access to it very quickly if you're on the 2nd or 3rd floor, as they only seem to keep one of the elevators running at any given time. I've been in to my unit maybe 6 times in 3 years, and have seen somebody in the office twice. The dumpster on-site is locked, so approach trash like camping - pack it in, pack it out, or just follow the example set by others and leave it sitting on the ground. Enjoy watching your monthly charges increase gradually as they continue making improvements like putting soap in the bathrooms. read more

Brittany is the go to person!!!! She is very awesome, very polite and goes out of her way to give excellent customer service. She did my on boarding when I first moved into public storage. Did amazing then! And a few days ago I thought I loss my keys .. I told her about it she got it all set up for my lock to be replaced .. I took a day to look for them .. found them .. completely forgot to call her and SHE CALLED ME! there isn't many people that awesome .. A +++++ just outstanding! its my first time getting a storage unit so I was unsure of how it worked. Older bald man at the counter wasn't very helpful at all and talked to me like i was dumb. You do get what you pay for. Slightly less then area competitors. Driving through facility is incredibly awkward with very pitched roads. Storage area was not necessarily dirty but certainly could've been cleaner. The manager has a real chip on her shoulder. Some tips for those considering this facility: If you have homeowners or renters insurance you probably do not need the insurance offered by public storage. The manager told me when signing up that insurance was required in order to rent there and then firmly pushed their offerings in front of me telling (not asking) me to choose one. She did not appear happy when I insisted that my State Farm policy was more than adequate. Save yourself some money and go and buy in advance one of those cut proof locks. It will be much cheaper than buying one from public storage. Again, the manager was disappointed when I showed up with already in hand. She said the cut proof locks were required, however I saw plenty of lockers that did not have them. Lastly, read your contract. You can vacate on the 10th of the month, but they still get to charge you for the full month. I just wanted to be done with them, otherwise I would've left my locker vacant but still locked until the end of the month just for spite. read more

Can't recommend this facility as the office person never returned my several calls. When I showed up, he advised me to wait 45 minutes as he was in the middle of one customer, and had one waiting. We had spoken two days beforehand and he knew I wanted to come in to inspect the facility. There seems to be barbed wire surrounding most of the property, but no cameras on site. Price is very cheap compared to others in the greater Houston area, so maybe you get what you pay for. read more

ive been waiting at the office to get into my storage for over an hour and a half no one is never in the office I been outside waiting since 3 says the storage close at 5 no one hasn't came nor answered The phone it is now 4:50 this isnt the first time this has happened this is very frustrating because they have their lock on my storage so I can't access it until they get their off other cars has also pulled up and said they just bought a storage paid and still doesn't have all the information they need to get in their new storage it is Saturday please do not put rent here there is always an issue with them being out of the office during office hours for more than an hour read more

One star is generous! Can't get anyone at this company to call me back! Long story short we rented a unit that wound up not working for our 8x10 trailer and nothing else was available. We paid our first month and called to speak to a manager 30 minutes later to let them know we had gotten another unit at another place and ironically there was "nothing they can do!" I let them know we would not be back after numerous calls. Asked for the district manager to call me and here we are three weeks later and still can't get a call back. Got a $99 charge on my credit card for one months rent, insurance and a late fee. Site manager tells me there's nothing he can do and ironically I still can't get the area or district manager to call me back. Call corporate and they can't authorize anything either. BEWARE when giving out your c/c info, they'll keep on charging you for a unit that you used for a few minutes. I'm letting my friends and family know too as well as my social media account! Update- was promised 5 weeks ago for a phone call after I left 3 messages with the area manager but to no avail! read more

It seems like the past 6 times I have gone to this storage unit since getting an account, the main access gate is broken and anyone can just drive in past the office. I have complained numerous times and it will get fixed and then break again and be down for months. Now elevator #2 has been down the last 3 times being on the property. Management does not seem to feel these are any issues. read more

Expensive and extremely poor quality. The price doubled between moving my things in and when I decided to move to another storage company. The insulation on the ceiling collapsed on my things and mice had eaten fabric as well as pooped on my things while in their storage. I moved to a different storage company and pay considerably less for double the space. read more

I recently rented a small 5 x 5 unit, the location staff (Lakeisha & Brittany) were awesome. They were very friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. I had been to 3 other Public Storage facilities that day and kept being recommended to go to another location. We finally found the right size at this location. It's quite convenient as it's right on the beltway. Easy access in and out, I would recommend this location above others. read more

I have 2 10x15 units and the staff there is wonderful. Brittany was very helpful evey time that I have been in this facility.

It's just a storage space, very high priced and all, insulation falling off the ceiling and walls. Nice office staff, though. Young women every time I go. read more
