They handled all of my belongings with great care, communicated with me throughout the entire process, and made what could have been a stressful moving day feel easy and organized. Kevin and his team worked hard and were flexible. When my leasing office wasn't open and the freight elevator wasn't accessible, they were able to pivot and adapt quickly. The team had a positive attitude and greeted me with a handshake and a friendly smile first thing this morning. They all went above and beyond to make sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it. Nothing was damaged, and they treated all of my home, furniture, and belongings with respect. Not to mention, I asked if they would drop of my mattress at my new place down the street from my storage unit (an added extra stop) and they said they would! After the final stop, they closed me out and everything was done in 2 HOURS!! I was shocked. This crew of three guys done in 2 hours packing up my 600 sqft apartment was a great value and money well spent compared to the other quotes I received. On Friday, I booked a move for today 10/19, 1-3 PM. At 12:16 PM Melvin called stating a driver would be reaching out to me soon. Melvin called back at 2:46 and said "yeah our guys are just backed up right now and won't be able to get to you until some hours, can you take a priority move for tomorrow?". After I said I could not, Melvin stated he was going to reach out to his "sister company" to get additional assistance. At 2:52 Edward called and casually stated "This is Edward, we'll be there in an hour". At 4:31 I called Melvin back and asked him what was the update with the sister company. He stated "let me call them and see". He called back less than 2 minutes later and casually said "yea our guys had an emergency on the way to you nobody is going to be able to move you today." This company treated me as if I was the problem when I paid for a service they were not able to render. Melvin knew at 2:46 PM they were not going to provide services, yet kept me waiting hoping I would settle for a "priority move" Monday. They were not apologetic about inconveniencing me, letting me know they do not think they are replaceable.

Next they'll will break your furniture in front of you and tell you that the it was previously broken and they will document it. Then they'll give up on dismantling furniture and make their customer help them with dismantling the furniture. I think this company is great at doing half ass jobs so keep that in mind when you hire this company if you are brave enough. If I hadn't stopped them, I would've ended up with a stranger's items. They also lost my $900 KitchenAid mixer and my air fryer as a small cake business these items were crucial . Their initial compensation offer was $23. After six months of haggling and constant follow-ups, they finally offered $123. I was exhausted and just took it to be done. To top it off, this was a Texas-to-Florida move, and they were extremely vague about when my belongings would actually arrive. No clear delivery day, no transparency--just stress and uncertainty. If you value your belongings or your time, please do not use this company. A good first impression means nothing when they can't keep track of your property or communicate honestly.

I interviewed about 6 moving companies and right away from talking with Abner I felt comfortable. Other moving companies were very persistent, trying to sell me, and seemed dishonest. Abner was very responsive and straight forward but did not contact me again after initial quote until I decided to go with him. He garunteed pick up date and arrival date (and time and was 10 minutes early each time!) which was huge for us as our move had to be very scheduled and other companies quoted us a 2 week interval (or more!) of when our items would be delivered. His crew in Houston arrived and packed our entire apartment, included disassembling basic items. They were extremely professional and efficient. Every item even valuable and breakable items arrived in perfect condition. He met us in San Fransisco 5 days later and him and two others unloaded all our boxes and assembled any dissassembled items. Again very professional and efficient. Iron back movers turned what could have been a very stressful move into 0 stress. Abner was extremely hardworking, professional, and easy to work with as was every member of his team. We hope we can use him for any future moves even though we are no longer in Houston!

They were very responsive when we inquired (via text) and I liked that they charged per hour based on the number of movers you requested. We scheduled the moving date, signed a contract, and were ready to go! On moving day, the movers arrived promptly and they were so quick in moving everything! within two hours everything had been moved out of our townhome! It took them another hour and a half to move everything to the new place. Very impressed! They also wrapped certain pieces of furniture for us and disassembled as well as assembled others. Cost was reasonable as well. I would say they are more cost efficient compared to other movers we had inquired. Overall we had a good experience with iron/back movers and would use them again for our next move!
