Absolutely appalled by "Jenny" and her nasty attitude from the moment we walked in the door. Not sure if she's having a bad day or what but there was zero reason for her rudeness. I'll also mention all the additional charges that they don't tell you about. Insurance, administrative fee, locks, etc. We decided to just walk and go to Westerville Mini Storage right up the street even though it might be a little more money. read more

What a cluster. A relative moving from out of state contacted corporate to rent a 10x25 unit. Apparently corporate can't take and guarantee a specific rental. My relative had to have me personally go to the store to put the rental in my name. Upon my arrival I'm told that the size wasn't available. The sales person said that corporate over books like an airline. They directed me to another location at Easton. The gal there took care of me and signed me up for the size I originally wanted. I this day in age you should be able to contract for a unit without being physically at the location. As an update. My brother wanted to change the unit over to his name. He was told that we Had to remove all of the items, vacate the unit for 24 hours then move everything back. Now that's customer service. read more

I had a shock of my life when visited the Public storage facility at 5711 Westerville, OH 43081 to make clarification on an issue i was told by the property management that was resolved. I have been on the e said property for over a year with unit B072 and still occupying it. Around this year i had to rent B016 for a temporal use, moved in 03/10/2020 and left the unit 05/12/2020 on the notification and awareness of the property management. But after moving out of the unit i kept recieving emails of accumulated bills showing am still an occupant of B016 and continue receiving persistent calls from collectors to pay for an unoccupied unit by me. The issue i have approached the management on countless occasions with confirmation that they have fixed the issue. Today, 07/23/2020 i received a call from my wife informing me about a letter sent with accumalated bill of $364.33 for the same B016 i gave up since 05/12/2020. I went to the office and the apartment manager was unaccommodating and mean, she asked me to leave office and threatened to call the police and resolved to leave and asked my wife to come and talk her. She put up same racist attitude against my wife by calling the police on her. We have a video of her racist behavoir to clients and because of such inhuman treatment i am thinking of giving up the unit for poor customer treatment. I am even afraid to go to the storage due to such displayed hate and manifestation even when the B016 issue that took me to the facility is unresolved. We are the reason she was employed to attend to us the client and we deserve respect and not to be calling cops like we are criminals. I am Abdul Sigismond Sesay, my number 3136991114 and will appreciate getting a follow of this matter. We have a video and we intend reporting this lady on duty today for this intimidation and racist behavoir. we are not criminals but customers. She has no right to threaten me with the cops and went further calling the cops on my wife and tried to play the victim to the cops to arrest my wife. we thank God we have a video to expose her evil machination today. read more

I spoke to Buffy on phone. Took over 10 mins to book a storage unit. Then the manager Jill called me later that day and stated there is no unit available. Terrible business. She stated they promised it to someone else. Way to run a business! I would encourage all to go elsewhere. read more

Awful just awful. Customer service wasn't great. Office smelled dirty and had no air-conditioning. Storage unit was listed as outside access but was between other storage units with a sidewalk leading to it that was just falling apart. Was told after paperwork was signed that we needed to have a cam style lock as padlocks were not acceptable... An additional $21 later I own my very own proprietary lock. read more

Easy to sign up on line, and close to my house. When I arrived to sign the lease, they showed me the one the computer assigned. Because I need to move some heavy stuff, they let me pick one that is closer to the driveway. They also let me pick a larger one. Sometimes it's harder to imagine what size you need until you see them. After a few signatures, we were all done. In and out real quick. Jill was really friendly, and easy to work with. read more

I've had a unit there for close to a year, never have had any issues! Reserving online is super easy and they usually have great online offer including first month for $1!! Jennifer is who I've usually talked to when in office and she is the sweetest, most genuine person in Customer service that I have ever met!! However they don't have 24 hour gate access which is basically the only negative that I have!!! read more

Beware of this place. After a month of renting at Public Storage, the rates were increased without my knowledge. this was a $50 increase that I was unaware of. When I called I was told something was sent to me via mail however I never received or may have thrown it out in the trash. When I called I was told due to the lease it goes month to month and they can change their rates at any time. Yes, I know I should have read the fine print. It's interesting though when I went to look for new rentals I found one at a cheaper rate at the same facility for the same size space as what I was paying. I'm not an expert but this sounds like a bait and switch to me. Also, the company has had issues with their credit card system not taking money out on the CC I had saved on time. This went on for a couple of months and was a real hassle. The people that worked there were always really nice I just don't trust this company and do not recommend this company to anyone. I have never wrote a review for anyone before. Even places that I've experienced that were horrible, I never took the time out of my day to review them because it wasn't worth it. So the fact that I'm about to give the worst review yet for this public storage facility should say something. Incompetent employees who obviously do not know how to do their job. I vacated my unit over a month ago and spoke with an employee there and told me there was nothing else further that was required of me and I had asked to make sure, and she said nope, and told me no charges would be pursued and I was officially listed as vacated. I received the email stating as such too. Well I get an email today saying I owe the place $200 due to a late payment and an upcoming one that's due. I spoke with someone today, no clue who because I bet they don't tell you their name purposely, who was very rude. I explained my situation and she told me 1) you are not allowed to vacate over the phone, even though the other employee specifically told me to do so rather than coming in person and 2) they will un-vacate you if you keep your lock into the unit. Supposedly #2 is in my lease info, but I had asked prior if I needed to do anything with the unit upon leaving and I was told NO. I then was told by the ever-so-rude lady I spoke to today that I was vacated but then the district manager overturned it. WHY WAS I NOT NOTIFIED OF THIS? If I was accurately notified at the time of the fact, I would have squared it away then and there. However, no one notified me that my vacating was over turned and now I am continuously being charged for a unit I'm no longer in. Not only was I misinformed TWICE, but I received rude service after the fact to try to get this all sorted out. Like I said, incompetent employees who do not even know how to do their own jobs and will scam you for your money. Absolutely horrible facility and staff. DO NOT RENT HERE! read more

I have rented from this location three separate times over a 4 year time period. I've never had a problem, ever. First time, I rented a parking spot. Next 2 times, I rented units, reserving them online. Property managers have always been very nice. Paperwork was easy and hassle free. One unit was very clean, the second had clearly not been swept out and still had a palate in it but was ok for what we needed. I would rent from this place anytime. read more

This is the absolute worst company to EVER give your money to....I just could not post this without a star but they deserve -5. 1.YOUR RATE WILL GO UP!!!!!!! I have had a unit for 9 months now and my rate has increased twice! 2. If you move in late in the month they prorated to make sure they get every penny but if u move out on the second they give u none of your monthly fee back. I pay my bills a week in advance so when I unexpectedly got approved for a house I got no money back for the month I used one day of. 3.The woman at this location is EXTREMELY rude and will not even hear out your question before she begins talking over you and if you ask her to slow down she gets mad. She has hung up on me more than once because I was asking for my turn to talk. 4. Don't bother calling her boss...the district manager....to complain.....I called every day for four weeks and got no return phone calls not to mention the four weeks following that when I called the REGIONAL manager several times and left messages and never got a call back so obviously they condone their staff talking down to people. Find a smaller business to rent from that will actually appreciate your business!!!! read more

If I could give it a zero I would. I moved out of my storage unit about 10 days before the 1st of the month. Rent is due on the 1st. I had informed him 1 May that I was moving. I want to take some trash to the dumpster and the dumpster was completely full light for 5 feet over the lid so I was not able to crash the empty cardboard box that I had. they kept on saying I owed $25. In fact I thought they would've owed me for moving out early. Then I turned it over to a collection agency. Then to find out they were charged me $25 for not emptying that cardboard box.I will never use their facilities again. Very poor business. read more

Rent at your own risk! We, along with a bunch of other units along the back row, were broken in to this spring. They stuffed us into the far back corner and allowed someone to park a huge taco truck in front of us. (They didn't actually know who was parked there when we asked. How do you not know who is renting your space??). Although we asked before we rented there if it was under camera surveillance, and they said yes, our unit apparently was not in fact in the view of a camera. We were robbed. Bad. We were moving out of a house we sold very quickly and had to unfortunately put everything into storage. They knew this. The person who broke in to our unit had the time to go through each and every one of our boxes and the place was packed. They took extremely heavy containers of records which they could not have possibly carried very far. It would seem to me this was done by someone that worked there or was associated with someone who worked there. We assumed our stuff was stashed in a nearby unit and driven out later. The cops said they could not check the other units. These people completely upset our lives at a time of great stress. They stole the only thing my mom left me when she passed. They are just horrible. Don't let them upset your life too. read more
