I really like this Publix and noticed that it has a wider selection of organic food than my local Publix. It's well lit and the staff were helpful.

Now that I live a little too north to enjoy shopping at Publix, I make it a point to visit one whenever I'm down south. The chain is known for cleanliness and freshness but, this location was especially pleasant. The deli staffer and cashier were so friendly and energetic. I think their positivity made the sandwich tastier :-)

First time visiting Publix, nice supermarket. Has an elevator to access the shop. You can also take stairs instead of elevator. It has a parking garage. Some products are more more higher-priced than I thought, and some other products are really cheap. Spacious and has a lot of selections. Overall, it's a great shop.

Hair was baked into the cake here. Returned it and they weren't even apologetic about it.

I have been to the promised land, and the promised land serves Publix subs. As a youth visiting my grandparents, we would often stop by Publix for our provisions and a sub. Whenever I am back in Florida, I celebrate my return as the prodigal son with a pilgrimage to Publix. On this occasion, the sub was a full 12 inches of meaty and delicious goodness. I always opt for the Italian. I took the sub back to the hotel, and enjoyed it by the pool, basking in both the Miami sun and the culinary delight around which I had my hands wrapped. My mouth opened wide, my jaw straining at its limit, I took bite after bite, the dressing dripping down my chin to my bare sun kissed chest, shredded lettuce flying about. I cared not, because I dove straight into the pool when I finished, leaving the glistening water with the sheen of Italian dressing. That was one oil slick that won't be covered in the news.

You have to take an elevator up to the store which is a complete nuisance.

The produce section always catches my eye too -- the colors are so vivid, especially the way the fruit is arranged, it almost reminds me of a 1960s psychedelic poster. I try to pick up something new each visit, and you never know what you'll discover -- a fruit you've never tried before that turns out to be amazing. Kind of like how a long-lost color video of Led Zeppelin performing was recently rediscovered in a university archive, footage nobody knew still existed, filmed here on the sacred ground where this Publix now stands, back when the location of this Publix was home to Thee Image Club, a legendary psychedelic rock venue in the late '60s. Their natural preserve jams are a favorite of mine too -- they always makes me think of those groovy musical jams. And of course, no visit is complete without their cookies -- genuinely one of my favorite treats, sweet, soft, and I still don't know their secret recipe. Funny enough, it reminds me a little of the mystery around the Grateful Dead's six shows at Thee Image Club back in 1968 -- no known recordings exist, just the memories of the people who were actually there. Some things stay a mystery, and somehow that makes them even better. There is a magic to this Publix -- you can feel the groove in the air, the memory of what it once was and the presence of what it now is. Far out great food, out of sight fresh produce, and the tasty jamming delight of their sweet Publix pastries. If you know your rock music history, you can almost hear the sounds of legends like Zeppelin, Zappa, the Grateful Dead, B.B. King, Eric Clapton and Blues Image permeating the air. This magic isn't just hiding in plain sight -- it's available to you right here, right now. So turn on, tune in, and experience the cosmic joy of the groovylicious Publix in Sunny Isles Beach.

Since I was in the area, I only came here to see if they had a particular brand of bug spray in stock. As I entered through the garden section, I asked a male employee who was standing by the door if the bug spray was in this area. He shook his head no. I assumed he didn't understand what I was asking for. It didn't matter, I spotted some Raid on the shelf near the pottery. I eventually found the brand I looking for which was on clearance. I also was able to find a courteous male associate to price check the item (after a female associate said she couldn't do one) just to make sure it rang up at the listed price. It was accurate. Was out of that store in minutes. I'm not sure when I will return. Decent customer service was a bit difficult to get at this location.

Yes, there are some times you can go where lines aren't as bad but the parking is terrible although better than North Miami. Hard to find a spot and usually carts left in parking lot and no carts in store. The lines aren't very long, I've been here before, with 2-3 registers open and a line nearly half way back through the store so appear to have staffing issues. As of recently, it also seems like there's a whole section of women's clothing missing. I came across sportswear, bathing suits, and plus sized but maybe that's all Walmarts as it's maybe a biannual trip for me. I'd say it's worth a trip here over the mess and crowd in north Miami but also worth driving further west to go if you need to.

What really stands out here is the authenticity. They offer the truly traditional Brazilian snacks that so many of us love, like coxinha with its crispy outside and creamy chicken filling, kibe, empanadas, pão de queijo that comes out soft and warm, and of course, the sweet brigadeiros that are a must for any Brazilian-style gathering. Beyond the snacks, the market is well-stocked with pantry supplies for food lovers and curious eaters who want to explore a little bit of Brazil from their own kitchen. You can also find authentic Brazilian meats and frozen items, perfect for every occasion, whether you are preparing a weekday dinner or hosting friends on the weekend. For those who love grilling, they even have barbecue supplies that bring the real flavor of a traditional Brazilian churrasco to your table. The prices are very reasonable, which makes it easy to enjoy these specialties without breaking the bank. On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help you find what you need or suggest something new to try.
