Saturday afternoon. Not too busy. Parking garage in the back on Polk Street is free, second floor. Upfront of store you must pay 7 days a week. I tried to purchase a product that was not available at this store. I went to customer service the girl did not know how to check if other Publix in the city carry product. She at least got the grocery manager. He did not know how to check other stores. Said he can request the product and can call me when they get the product. That was waste of my time. How are employees not trained to use an application to cross reference other stores to help locate a product if it is available. Now I have to manually drive to each Publix to see for myself. This is how companies lose business to their competitors. There has to be some training done by district managers to lower management and to front store staff as well. I love Publix frozen yogurt. The quality is excellent, it is very healthy with minimal fat and saturated fat content. One of my favorites is the Pistachio flavor. There are bits and pieces of pistachios all throughout the tub.....so decadent.... The best time to stock up is when they go on sale and/or BOGO. Keep an eye open for the deals and grab them when you can. Easy shopping experience at this store. All aisles were clearly marked. read more

This Publix is conveniently directly across from ArtsPark at Young Circle. You can walk here from the park. You can park directly in front of the store from a pull up parking curbside. You have to pay for parking at the meter. If you're going to be quick and want to chance it, be my guest. But with these parking meters, you just never know! They can be brutal and you can risk a quick 10 minutes in and out of the store and get a ticket in the mail for $50. Ha. Believe me, it's happened to me before. This Publix is pretty large or so it seems with the high ceilings. Everything is very nice and super organized. I mean most Publix supermarkets are always organized and clean but some more than others. We came in here for some quick grab and go food after spending several hours at the park. Picked up a few quick groceries too. Because no normal person can just go into Publix for EXACTLY what they NEED!!! Lol. read more

This location is ok. It's pretty disorganized and some of their staff are rude when you ask them questions. They probably also need more security as there were some sketchy people hanging around outside when we stopped by. Depending on what you're buying, the prices could be reasonable or ridiculous. Always check the tags before grabbing it and putting it in your cart! This sometimes can be hard as many prices are missing from the shelves. This is one of the better supermarkets in the area, they have a bakery section deli section as well as a good amount of produce to select from. The meat selection is not the best but the prices are competitive, if you're looking to grab some groceries this location is definitely worth the visit. Some of the staff avoid eye contact at all costs but I understand when you're working long hours just trying to get your work done. Will come again recommend this location. read more

This supermarket was located downstairs from the Circ by Sonder Hotel. There's a nice hot food station with affordable options like roasted chicken, fried chicken, chicken wings, and sandwiches. I also liked the grab and go salads. The store was bright and clean. The pricing was moderate, and they do sell alcohol and beer as well. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. I travel a lot for work and seek Publix supermarkets out if I am staying in a hotel to grab dome of their iced tea and maybe a snack. This location was to grab a few items for an early morning presentation. I had no issues and was in and out in no time flat. I came here for the Bears Head Ultimate sub which is on special this week. There were three others in front of me in line which didn't seem bad at 1pm. Boy was I wrong. After 30 minutes and 6 other patrons I counted gave up for their sub orders I was up to order. It just seems like everyone is in slow mode. I was off work so it didn't bother me but the frustration was seen by other customers. I don't recommend coming here for a sub. read more

New overweight store manager must think he's security instead of management. This review is for the deli department only. It is the worst and has been since they opened. Only one person actually cutting cold cuts. Today one customer being helped in front of me. It took 10 minutes to cut 1 lb of meat ??? Other workers just walking around socializing not helping or going into the back room to hide. I left after 10 minutes without anyone saying anything to me. I shop here often and at the door there is a humongous sign that states no animals allowed. I am not against animals just against them in the grocery store. Security can stand next to sign and follow people around the store but seem to see people with their pets on leashes. What good is the sign if management or security turns the blind eye. Let me preface with this I have EDEMA of the legs.... AND I HAVE MEDICAL PROOF TO BACK IT UP SHOULD CORPORATE WANT TO TAKE THIS COMPLAINT SERIOUSLY. I say this to give context. Around 5pm on Saturday April 9, 2022, I came in to shop for groceries using the green hand cart and placed it down in the isle I was in so that I can pick up something without having to walk with the cart half way down the isle. The cart was full so I briefly sat it down. In addition MY UMBRELLA WAS IN THE CART SO THAT NO ONE WOULD MISTAKEN IT FOT BEING ABANDONED. The store manager maliciously takes the hand cart with the groceries and my umbrella and walks away with it. The store manager didn't even ask me if the items were mind R. The least you could do is leave it at one of the registers. This was sick to wait until I turn my back and take my cart and have me go and question my sanity as if I misplaced the items. Is this what PUBLIX means when they quote "where shopping is a pleasure? This is flat out disgusting! Is this a common practice that is done to people with a physical and medical condition? Does the store manager do this to the elderly as well? THIS IS SICK ON SO MANY LEVELS! In addition there were kids who were running a muck in the store why not attend to them? You didn't have the audacity to give me my damn umbrella after you made me go through all of that trauma. GO TO HELL! I will write a formal complaint to corporate about you! Ever since this Publix opened up, we've gone here for all our groceries. The location is so clean and organized, and the staff are very kind and helpful. In particular, Tim at the seafood department today (4/3) was just the best!!!! He let us know of a spectacular deal on salmon on sale today and we ended up saving so much money on Easter dinner. He then graciously offered to slice off the skin with the skill of a 30 year fish skinning veteran. Thank you so much Tim!! read more

My first time at this supermarket. What a joy. I love it. It is so clean and nice. I think I enjoyed mostly the inside parking. The spaces are big and rain or shine you are good here. My trip today was to the bakery. I bought a flying saucer. I really liked it. It was perfect in every way to me and a chocolate chip cookie. I don't know why in a my years I had never purchased their bakery cookies before. At first look they are really chocolatey. They look like they have a chocolate overload. I love that. The cookie itself was a soft cookie. I love that. And really great taste. I was happy. The supermarket is very clean and nice. The cashiers and Bakery workers were nice and professional. Weird day at the young circle Publix. Deli associates were very nice and working very hard. I got a meal with Mac and cheese and they didn't have any more forks or spoons. All the deli associates were working as fast as they can but it's a long line. So I saw the assistant deli manager doing something on a computer I smiled and waved to her so she would take 2 seconds of her time to get me a fork. She literally looked at me and just walked away without saying anything. Like your messing around on a computer while your workers are working like dogs. Then rudely walked away when I tried to get her attention. A good manager would help their associates during peak time. Instead of hiding in the back on a computer and running away from a customers when they need help. I ate my Mac and cheese with my hands thank you. It was not a pleasure. read more

Wow. Hollywood has a new Publix. And relative to the old location it's a beacon to better things for east Hollywood. It's been a long time coming. We were told of a new public that would be in the 1st floor of a new high rise on Young circle. First I heard of it was about a year ago though. I stopped by my Publix the other day that I usually go to on the circle and it was closed. I glanced to my left and sure enough there was; the new location. Walking in I felt the new vibe of Publix. Like more boutique grocers, this location has small cubbies all over. It makes it feel like a small market, even though this place seems twice as big as the last location. The new spot had other obvious changes. It's brighter, cleaner, seemingly more helpful and a bit more classy. It's pretty great to have a nice grocery downtown Hollywood now. I didn't get a chance to peruse the whole store. But I'm sure over the next few trips I will get to know all the new pluses. read more

Whenever I travel for an extended period of time, I try to find a Super Market. I'm not familiar with this organization but was excited to shop here. I was in the area today and needed to buy a few items before getting to a friends house so the location on Polk St. was the nearest. It's attached to a high rise so if you think you missed it, you'll see the parking garage on the side as you're going down the street. The store is pretty large and the aisles are perfectly stocked so you're bound to find what you need and more. As always, order your deli meats online for a more efficient retrieval. The BOGO's are placed throughout the store so selecting an item you're not usually used to comes in handy from time to time. Entering the garage you'll find a steep ramp which always freaks me out because my car is manual and I'm scared of rolling backwards. The produce section looked fresh and they seemed to have plenty of the popular organic items too! read more
