I ordered a Chantilly cake and European triple berry cake at Publix Loeman's bakery in Aventura last week. I was on the fence about which one to order. After speaking with Ada and Patricia at length about both cakes, I decided to in fact order BOTH! I had never had either one. When I arrived the next day to pick up my cakes they both remembered me and told me they were so excited about my order and were expecting me any minute. That was so special. The cakes were clearly made with love. My experience there was 10 out of 10! Excellent customer service and these ladies made me feel like family. They truly love what they do and have a passion for baking and helping people. When we tired both cakes at the Birthday party, everyone was blown away. They were so fresh and absolutely delicious! Most guests at the party had never had these cakes but will definitely be going to see Ada & Patricia to order them in the future. Not one crumb was left! Thank you Patricia and Ada! I have been to this Publix location multiple times and have had nothing but pleasant experiences. However today I was waiting in line for a public sub for a few minutes. There was one person in front of me. The person in front of me asked is anyone gonna help me? I assume that the lady making the subs was hoping the person in front of me. They were apparently making an online order and no one had even spoken to the lady in front of me. The Publix workers behind the counter also did not seem to care about the people patiently waiting. I was on my lunch break and decided to go get sushi instead. I grabbed a spicy tuna roll and when I got to self check out, I realized that they did not add wasabi or ginger to the box. I went back to the seafood section and they promptly gave me wasabi and ginger. The time was 215. It was not busy. I am very disappointed in the customer service at the Publix sub line. read more

All I can say is abusive in price and very bad expensive produce. Your Instacart shoppers are bad. The bagging is worse. All the frozen things get to my home totally thawed out. The least you can do is provide the right packaging for transport. I thought I would never see the day that whole Foods is cheaper and much better. Shame on you for being so abusive. So im my travels I'm staying in Aventura around the mall area for a couple of months and I have a per diem that I use daily Yes it's great dining out at Graziano's, Mister 01, Enriquitas and various other restaurants which I've already reviewed but I found a love and passion for sushi from Publix I've had sushi from Publix many times but the sushi bar in the Aventura Publix is amazing it is so fresh, healthy and delicious I have never been disappointed and feel good about eating a healthy meal and they always have a wonderful selection of new and exciting concoctions as well as poke bowls! The salmon is always fresh moist and has a bright flavor as does the salmon roe which I've never had before and have developed a love for has a beautiful buttery taste that's doesn't taste fishy at all, The tuna has a beautiful meaty red color and is quite delicious considering it's from Publix. Yes the crab meat is imitation crab meat but hey what do you want for $10.99? I always look forward every day for lunch or dinner to browse the selections and always enjoy every single bite! read more

The Publix Aventura (Loehman's Plaza) is probably one of the best Publix locations in the Aventura/North Miami (if not all of North Dade). This location is located right in the heart of Aventura on Biscayne with a huge parking lot and ample parking. I recommend parking on the back side of the shopping center where you can typically find a spot close to the front of the store. Employees are always very friendly at this location and the store always has everything we need. I highly recommend this location! read more

We used to shop at this location all the time before another Publix opened closer to us. Great location, but parking can be difficult to find depending on the day and time. Carts are sometimes also running low which is weird so you have to wait for people to be done and almost chase them before someone else does to get their cart afterwards. Clean store and always has great deals. read more

Meh. This is the Publix where you have the watch your step outside because someone will inherently try to run you over or spot stalk you. The carts are always a mess. I think it speaks more to the people shopping here who think they are the exception to every rule. The store is ok. The employees are Publix friendly but not overly motivated. read more

Not the closest publix to me, but the one I've been a regular at since I lived in sunny isles: you just get used to a place and it becomes hard to transition. So I'm a regular, and so are many staff here: I've checked out with cashier Herold for over a decade. It has good organic selection (one of the largest volume, I hear), but a pretty poor beer one - much fewer craft, local or cans than you'll find at 154th/Biscayne, or even the sky lake branch. I like the parking: angle spots, and wide so your Bentley or Rolls is plenty safe. No cart return zones though, which would be logical. read more

This an okay public location . Not thrilled to shop here since the nra donation . But it's not the thoughtful staffs fault. I got a lift here because I'm handicapped . What upset me most about my experience was that I had asked one one the baggers to accompany me to the car to be able to give back the motorized cart. He nicely helped me put my groceries in the truck. However He stalled leaving right after . I had no change to tip him because banking is a problem for me, I felt I had to apologize for having no change. This made me feel very uncomfortable. They get 5 stars just for their ice cream aisle. Such a great selection, the tastiest of which is the Publix own brand. I always spend way too much time trying to decide what flavor to buy. Yum yum yum! But its not just the ice cream that is awesome, the whole supermarket is pretty impressive. The large layout of grocery aisles without the pretentiousness and priciness of Whole Foods aka "Whole Paycheck." You can get massive sub sandwiches for less than $9. Horrible experience. Bought a dozen roses for my wife there, took them home, and as soon as she unpacked them, all the pedals fell off, and roses look terrible. This supermarket chain is one step up from living in South America. Aside from it being a monopoly which I find infuriating, it's not even good. The last time I went, the vegetables were not fresh, they were out of 3 of the five "fresh" herbs that I needed, which by the way are not ever fresh. Most of their seafood is frozen. I shop here a lot because it is the closest one to my house. I wish I had another option. I guess I keep coming back because I know where everything is and I can find things quickly. The deli is always packed and it can take up to fifteen minutes to get your cheese and meats. They are often out of the white american cheese we like. There is a lady named Rosa who makes a demonstration meal every evening. She is amazing and the food is always good. She has recipe cards that you can take and all of the ingredients displayed so you know what to look for. Many an interesting meal idea was taken away from her sample station. She is worth at least one star all on her own. There is an overly friendly clerk who makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. I try to avoid him but he always seems to know when I'm in the store. The meats are inconsistent. I once brought home steaks that looked fine in the package, but were so riddled in ligaments and fat once cut open, we couldn't eat at least two thirds of the meat. I gave most of it to my dog. I've had decent roasts and filets from here, but the chicken breasts always have a lot of fat left on them and have to be trimmed. (that also goes to my dog) The Jennie-O spicy sausage that we like is only there half the time I go to look for it. There is very little in the way of cheeses or specialty products. The spice section is limited and there have been many times I couldn't find the spices I wanted. The produce section is OK. Just OK. They often run out of avocados, cilantro, and fresh herbs. There is a decent selection of local and seasonal fruits, but very little variety overall. read more

The Deli staff works in slow motion. No sense of urgency whatsoever. They have 5 or 6 people behind the counter and only 1 is helping people. The rest are standing around looking off into the distance. Cynthia was great tho! read more

We have lived in Aventura for 14 years and can unequivocally state that this has devolved into the worst grocery store that we have ever seen. Donna R's review is right on point; plus the produce at this location is bottom of the barrel - literally you can get way better quality at a food pantry. You really should only buy canned and packaged food at this location. What you should NEVER do at this store is take a food sample from the Pantry Prep & Sample stand. We were just in the store today and here is what motivated us to write a review and warn you: "A mother and her child were at the counter to receive their food samples. The child was coughing convulsively, not covering his mouth, nose bubbles, the nine yards...all directly onto the food samples. We were next in line and obviously left the line, and while we were doing so the Publix employee made eye contact with us and said "I can see why that would kill it for you." After a while we decided to go back and see if she was still serving those germ-contaminated samples...of course, she was! We reported this incident to the customer service manger but are not confident that anything will change. We encourage everyone to take their business to elsewhere. read more

The "good" Aventura Publix. Typical inefficient Miami service and smallish in size, but the store is stocked with some specialty items that I haven't seen at much larger Publix stores (the full line of Honest Tea products are here for example), and it is definitely a bright and clean store. As far as the meats, produce, prices, etc, Publix is what it is. I would say the Skylake, Biscayne Commons, and even the Norland Publix (really, check it out) are a little nicer on the inside, but this store is definitely above average and MUCH better then the store just 5 minutes away on Aventura Blvd. read more
