I can't believe I had such an awful experience at a Publix. My first time in this store will be my last. I only stopped in out of convenience because I was shopping in the Delray Marketplace. The store itself is small but it is very clean. I was disappointed with the clerk in the seafood department. Granted he was young but his lackadaisical attitude was extremely rude. Two different employees had me schlepping through the store because they had no idea where the protein drinks were. The price tags were not properly placed in at least two isles. On a positive note, they did have a good selection of fresh produce and I picked up some amazing cucumbers. Aside from great produce and the store being clean, I can't think of anything else that I liked about this Publix. read more

I asked him for a few tender wraps he did a great job I wasn't to happy with the other associate that was mentoring him I stated with a smile "great job, Brandon" the other associate replied with "you still need to learn how to wrap sandwiches" I looked at her with a puzzled face and said "yes he's doing great" I even told Mike about Brandon's service hopefully he'll be recognized for this review. read more

After our dinner at Cabo Flats at Delray marketplace we decided to walk to the Publix located behind the marketplace. As the weather was pleasant we walked through the parking lot to get to Publix. This location of Publix is pretty new so the set up is pretty much the same as most of the newer locations with the deli on the right side and the pharmacy on the left side. Publix as usual is known for being super clean and organized and this location is no different. All the employees are super nice and always willing to help. read more

We became sick after eating salmon purchased at this location. We reported to corporate who connected me to the store manager who acted irritated until he figured out what had happened. Over the years public quality has slid resulting in many "fresh" items hitting my trash can. Finally we were offered to have the salmon refunded if we want to come in a see if the manager is available. Now imagine you bought food, got sick, and now need to chase down someone to get a refund. Not much of an apology. My time is worth more and I'm shopping other retailers. read more

Since living in Delray Beach for 2.5-years, I have had the pleasure of shopping at this Publix many times as it was the second closest Publix to our first home in the area and now that we moved to another home in the area, this became our closest Publix. Just like the many Publix stores I have visited, it remains excellent and overall, Publix is one of my favorite supermarket chains. When you enter, you will definitely find this store to be large in size, with a selection to match. Like other Publix stores I have visited, this store is immaculate and well-lit, with a cheerful and pleasant atmosphere. The right side of the store has the deli and prepared foods, where I have gotten fairly large and juicy rotisserie chickens for a filling and easy dinner and even got a Publix sub without the bread due to my wheat allergy, which was well-made and not a bad lunch in a pinch. The produce department is not far away and has a large selection of high quality produce both conventionally grown and organic, so I tend to buy a good amount of my produce here.The seafood department and butcher are in the rear of the store but I have never used them, so I cannot judge them. The 14 or so grocery aisles line the center of the store and in addition to regular items, have a wide selection of items like ethnic foods and foods for special diets like many gluten free items. Like other Publix stores, I find their regular prices to be moderate but not the cheapest with some excellent advertised and unadvertised sale prices available. There is also a well-run pharmacy past the cash registers and while I rarely use it, it came in handy the one time I needed an antibiotic. Customer service shines here, as employees have gone out of their way to get us items that we need if we ever have trouble finding them, like keeping extra bags of Fresh Express Shreds Shredded Lettuce that my mom loves to buy. Shout outs to Alan, Colson, and Mason in produce. Cashiers like Kami, Rob, David, Nora, Nancy, Bonnie, Morgan, Matty, and many others I have had the pleasure of dealing with have been fantastic, as they are always very friendly, efficient, and eager to please. Overall, shopping is definitely a pleasure at this Publix! read more

Last night after my wife and I left Publix she suggested we write a review on Yelp for the employees here. We drive past two other Publix locations just to shop here. The location is always really clean and the staff are as friendly as any set of employees I've ever encountered. We have been shopping here now for two years and have yet to have a negative experience. Each and every cashier has been friendly and the gentlemen that bag our groceries engage you in conversation. They always ask you if you need help bringing your food to your car and are as polite as can be. I very rarely shop anywhere else but when I do I almost always regret it. Service with a smile to say they least here. Job well done to whomever trains this staff and manages this facility read more

This Publix has superior customer service. This review is specifically for the bakery department. We had ordered a cake from there and the baker was not sure if we wanted a cake in the shape of a cross or just a cake with a cross on top so she actually made both and had us choose upon arrival. Although the subs are delicious at the Publix at Delray Market Place, the customer service at the deli leaves somewhat to be desired. We ordered online and when we went to pick up, the order was not ready. We were told that they have run out of bread and that they tried to call our cell phone number 3 times to advise us. I had not received a single call at all. Sadly they are not in a hurry to complete the order as well. May have to rather support Clint Moore Publix in the future. read more

Normally when a business location first opens it does it's best to put it's best foot forward. Not Publix apparently. The store is nice (because it is new), but the problem is the people. To stand in (limited) bakery for 15 minutes being completely ignored by this over staffed store is one thing. But to spend an hour picking out groceries only to find yourself in a long line with only one register open is insane. Note I mentioned over-staffed earlier. Mostly by managers or manager trainees that are doing anything but assisting the customer. Why not open at least one more register??? Most of them are just standing around talking among themselves and working hard not to notice the long line at the single open register. 25 minutes later I'm checking out and guess what? Cashier doesnt speak english. Are you kidding me? I guess I could (kinda) understand if this Publix was located in a predominately hispanic community (or a foreign country), but it's not. Worst part is that the non-english-speaking cashier could barely scan items. So when it came to my habinero peppers, it literally took 15 minutes to get the right number to scan. And thats after an especially slow bager meandered back to where the peppers came from to try and locate the item number. Twice I told the cashier to forget the peppers but she couldnt under stand. imagine how ticked the people behind me were. Hopefully this Publix will improve, but most in South Florida are not very customer friendly anyway so it's doubtful. i wont be returning to this location anytime soon. read more

EVERYONE here is friendly. I go there on my lunch break so you can imagine the short amount of time I have to run in and run out. I never have to wait. People there call me by my name. No complaints. Someone is always standing in front of a register ready to help out. Customer service doesn't give attitude if you want to check out with them instead of waiting in line (which is a rarity anyways). Love this location and I would recommend anyone to visit. read more
