This is a great Publix location. Friendly service even though they don't always give correct information. For example today I wanted to buy Bogo chocolate and the Bogo sign size of item didn't match the sign. She assured me that it's the same brand so no worries. Well it didn't ring up Bogo so you are wrong although very nice and friendly. read more

This is a smaller Publix grocery store. It really gives you a feeling of a home town local store instead of a chain. The staff is around every corner, constantly restocking, and offering help. So I was in West Palm Beach for a giflfriends trip and decided to venture out to see what I could find. Sometimes, staying at a resort that is a heavy tourist attraction, you need to find a regular store away from the resort to avoid paying astronomical prices for simple things. I ventured out this day and took a fairly long walk to Publix. I had heard of the store many times and decided I would check it out. The store was not in the best neighborhood, but it had a lot of activity and people shopping. I was hungry and decided to give the hot food bar a try. I ordered some chicken tenders. There was some serious customer service issues from the front end to the food bar. The store is fairly small, but seems to stay busy. I also grabbed a few essentials while there. This Publix was easy to find, had lots of parking, and was pretty empty when I stopped by (weekday morning). It is one of those cool retro looking stores on the outside, with a smaller footprint inside. It reminded me of the downtown Lake Worth Publix. I only needed to grab 2 things, but was immediately sidetracked by a strategically placed cold display case with $4 off free range beef. After picking this up, I felt compelled to purchase the rest of the ingredients to go with the beef. I really came here for mini cupcakes to take to my kids school, and I found them! Chocolate and vanilla, and some valentine's decorated ones. There was no wait in line at all, and the cashier and bagger were very nice. As I loaded my car, an employee came up and took my car back to the store for me. It was such a thoughtful gesture! read more

Publix stores are very consistent. This particular one has a friendly staff and helpful associates. We got some sandwiches at the Deli and the lady behind the counter was very patient and efficient. The sandwich was loaded with everything we asked for and the ingredients tasted fresh and plentiful. The store was very well lit, organized and clean. I've found the staff, managers, stocking folks, behind the counters in deli etc, as well as checkout to be extremely helpful, very polite. It's the best grocery store I've ever used. Now with COVID the delivery service is equally outstanding. It's so good if we ever get past the virus I think we will continue to shop this way. read more

C'est La Vie. 3.5 Stars I moved here, this was the closest supermarket around. Sadly there aren't any "groceries" here, where you find ethnic flavorings, per geographic area. You luck out with The Boys on Military, but ey... So this has been my first one and so I have aisle by aisle organized in my head. TIP ONE - the bakery aisle is the first one, so keep your head down and walk briskly through it since my first stop is usually the deli! Never had a bad experience, the fruit guys and deli guys are super helpful and like i said - it is what it is, and you make do! (It's def not the largest one of other one's i have gotten lost in, so I like it) read more

I shop at the same Publix. There is a sign posted as you enter the store. It clearly states which dogs are allowed in the store. It is a service animal only. Not a emotional support animal. However the company are hypocrites. I have seen customers in the store with dogs and the customers are not blind and don't appear to need the services of the dog. In one instance I brought the matter to the attention of a manger. He said he'd talk to the customer, but couldn't ask them to leave the store. Today I saw a women carrying the dog. Again I brought this the attention of a manager. His answer "maybe it's a support dog". Perhaps the health department needs to be aware of this. If this is the law Publix needs to step up and enforce it. If they don't intend to enforce their policy then they need to remove the sign. read more

I have been asking for several months for this store to stock their regular vanilla ice cream. I have spoken to grocery managers as well as the Service Desk....all I get is lip service. I have to go to other Publix stores to get plain vanilla. This is not rocket science, folks!!! read more

The only reason I end up at this Publix is proximity to my apartment; that and it's better then the dreadful Walmart a block up. I should say the store is clean and staff is friendly. This is the 2nd time I have picked up subs from this particular publix.. Not only is the staff behind the deli extremely rude, both times got my order wrong... This time they got my order wrong, over charged me and were rude... They didn't read the special instructions, so they added sauce on 1 of the wraps (when it clearly said on the side) and didnt put any sauces on the side, as marked on the order. and when I was asked "can i help you" i stated i was waiting on another sub and the side of honey mustard and buffalo sauce that was part of my pickup order, the lady told me (rudely) someone is making the last sub and she will get that for you when shes done... Why ask me if she can help me, if she isn't going to help.... By far the worst service i have ever seen at publix.. Took 15 mins to get 2 sauces on the side (that was written in my online order) I will make the drive to a different publix next time i pick up subs for the office.... read more

Remember, 3 stars = A-OK! This is like our little neighborhood grocery. They actually have a sushi chef in seafood making sushi all day! Rocks! Great selection on Goya brand canned goods. Enough stuff to get by with in the baby aisle. Good buys on wines IF you know what you're doing. Doesn't hurt to speak a little French at the check-out line lol ! I went to have my 500th or so Pubsub combo tonight, and I see being out of onions/not wanting to open more before shutting down, but don't tell me you're out of onions.. you work in a grocery store that uses its own products for sale. Secondly, the cup dispenser was out of the green medium cups, so I asked if I could have one for my drink.. I was wrongly and shockingly told that the combo comes with a small drink in the blue cups. Not wanting to make him feel like an idiot for feeling so right about the subject, and not wanting to make a confrontation, I filled up the small and went about my experience. Sure enough, just look at what's printed on tag that lists what's included in the combo. Don't bother asking cashier about what drink it's supposed to come with, she won't know either. Luckily, the sandwich was delicious as always.. I wouldn't usually post but the attitude was unacceptable, and I work in the service industry. This is my neighborhood publix, just a couple blocks away, so I truly have a love/hate with it. I kinda love that it's small because you can get in and out so quickly but I kinda hate how much stuff they're lacking. I have an ongoing grudge with the man who makes my sub, speaks barely any English, and just won't give me quite enough cheese. Ever. i am a life long floridian and therefore have been to many publixes. .. this one is THE BEST i have ever been to... and all of it comes from the customer service. never thought i would blog about a grocery store- but seriously every time i leave there i think how much i love the people there -no kidding. at least 2-3 people who work there ask me how i am, if i am finding everything ok, etc... and even at check out they are all generally happy and chatty . . . this is a smaller publix than most - and is near downtown delray so you can get some characters in there-- but i think that's another part of its charm. read more

Love this Publix. Atlantic is too elderly, Jog is too big, Boynton is too generic. I have to rave about the guys in the produce section. Super nice and always attentive. If it is not what you want...if you are looking for a square tomato...they will go in the back and get it.
