I stopped at this location on my way home to check out some items and OMG. The other customers were always in my personal space and also so rude and impolite. No "excuse me" and just walked/bumped into you or blocked whatever you were looking at or doing at the deli, I felt sorry for the employees as people were so rude to them now for the cashier she did not say a word she seemed annoyed or mad and no "Hi, how are you" or "Have a good day". Publix is my favorite grocery store. This particular location was convenient for me, because it wasn't too far from where I was going to get on I-75. I went and picked up a 6 inch sub, and potato salad. My Husband got hot wings, chicken tenders, and potato wedges. The deli staff was really friendly, and they went over and beyond to assist, if needed. I really wanted sushi, but they didn't have the kind I liked. If I'm in the area, I'll visit again. read more

I usually have a very good shopping experience at our neighborhood Publix shops. There are 4 in our vicinity and I shop at all of them depending on where I'm at or headed. This is specifically to the deli person, Hispanic woman, I am Hispanic as well so I'm not picking on anyone. She seemed like one of the managers. After having waited over 5 minutes to be served I asked for 3/4 Publix Sweet Ham thinly sliced. The other two women who were busy as well, made sure to check with the customer for slice satisfaction. This woman gave me thick cut not very thin at all. Didn't ask for my opinion, and even as I'm voicing my disappointment she's packing it up and sending me off. She's is NOT fit for this at all. Thoroughly disliked this experience and will never buy from this deli as long as she's there. read more

This was another Publix that gave me a weird vibe. First off, I hate their parking lot. It is set up as one ways down the aisles and diagonal parking, which is a recipe for disaster in FL. I usually like to park away from most cars because people are stupid and inconsiderate so i do not want my car damaged. I may have a magnet or my car may have a magnet because we both attract people and cars. I'll get to the invasion of space later in review. We stopped by here on our way home to check out some items. We were at another Publix that had some good wine on clearance and wanted to see if they had the same. I also had some free items in my digital coupons. We wound up browsing the store anyway and found BOGO items that were not in stock at our usual store. Of course they did not have the free items I was looking for. The customers were always in my personal space and no one paid attention to the arrows and social distancing. The check out lines were super long. They finally opened another register. The cashier did not say a word. No "hi, how are you" or "have a good night". Weird. The customers were also rude and impolite. No "excuse me" and just walked/bumped into you or blocking whatever you were looking at or doing. This location is super busy for some reason. read more

(Sandwich area) they took pride when making your sub and listened to what you asked and needed. The were patient and made the best subs ever! Well no longer. The staff now act like they are doing you a huge favor ... and really barely listen to your requests. And don't ask for anything on the side because they tell you know and are rude.I was going to name the staff member but decided against it. I wouldn't recommend the BLT sub. Ordered it online waited a hour 30 mins total for it to finish and got one strip of cold bacon and a pound of Mayo. I usually never have a problem with the deli but so far the three times I ordered off the publix app to pick up it seems like I am getting someone rushing my order or simply doses not care to make them in the same way if someone was to order it in person. read more

I started using this store occasionally, when I use the pharmacy. The Pharmacy is five stars. The cashiers are five stars. Can't say the same about the rest of the store. Two days in a row , I asked three different employees if they could tell me where to find the " laughing cow cheese" First 2 employees didn't know ,didn't care. Both speculated and both were wrong. Today, employee # 3 told me where it was. Unfortunately I couldn't find it, so I went back to employee # 3. I had to ask him to show me, so begrudgingly he walked me to the correct Isle. Sounds Kinda of unimportant, but not the service I usually get from Publix. Can't wait until the Publix near my house , Taft and Hiatus Road reopens after remodeling. Subs are 5.99 this week and they have ONE person making them, super slow of course, and 4 deep in line. What gives? AND it's 12:15... lunch time. Come to this Publix to order subs and wraps. I love how fresh all their produce is and how friendly the staff is. I get taken care of in a quick and fashionable way. Normally there is no line, but even when there is, the employees make sure to be quick and efficient. They always consider the others who are waiting and even offer samples. My favorite neighborhood Supermarket. Employees are wonderful and already know be by now as I have been coming her for 12 years now. This place is always kept clean and stocked with items. Produce is fresh and Bakery items are delish. Even at the busiest time they have all registers open and you never wait. I have been to other Publix stores but this one is my favorite to go to. It is a big store and not small that you feel cramp when you are in the aisle. Huge parking area too. read more

This is my neighborhood Publix. The store is always super clean and they usually have the BOGO's right up front as soon as you walk in the front door. They have finally stopped playing "musical groceries" for the past year, meaning they constantly were moving and rearranged everything all over the store. My biggest complaint is they still like to move around the gift card kiosk occasionally, which is a real pain in the ass to find for Gas Card week. Also, they used to keep cases of the Publix Spring Water stacked at every other register. That made it a snap to add to your order when checking out. Well, they don't do that anymore after "musical groceries". Now you have to haul your case of spring water around with the bag of dog food, sodas, laundry detergent or anything else heavy on the bottom of your cart. The Deli line is always a minimum of 3-4 people deep, even mid-week during the day. Weekends are even worse. But once it's your turn, the deli employees are nice and professional. Have never encountered a rude person yet. Produce is hit or miss, can't count the number of times I've seen moldy blueberries and strawberries sitting out for sale. Not just a few, but at please half a dozen packages. Always inspect! Stock employees leave a lot to be improved. Basically, if the shelf is empty - they ain't got it. I've asked so many stock employees if there's more of an item in the back (because the shelf was empty). They go in the back stock room for 10 minutes, come out to tell me that it'll be on the next day's truck. Well, I show up the next evening- shelf is still empty! I ask again, same response. It's a joke. Seafood employees are usually very nice and helpful. Bakery employees are nice but seem overworked and rushed. Overall the Cashiers are nice, I have my favorites. There's a certain cashier I avoid because I believe sometimes elderly, crabby ladies shouldn't interact with the public. Don't expect someone to walk your groceries to the car. They don't even ask if "would you like help" at this store. It's purely self service here in Cooper City. Ahhh, sure do miss that about the good old days of Publix. But hey, it's my neighborhood Publix. I'm kinda stuck with it. And I'm sure their business is gonna pick up real quick when they tear down and rebuild the Publix on Taft Street & Hiatus. read more

I have bee here three times to et meat at the deli, since another local grocery store closed. This deli is the worst speed I have experienced ever since I stated to shop for myself. They have 10 people working; however, I have waited 20-30 minutes each time. Something has o be done, get more cutters, prestige stuff... something. I was really craving a pub sub so I decided to go to this location over the one at pines city center that I usually go to ,due to it being on my way home.I waited in line over 20minutes they had 1 person doing sandwiches and hot counter bare in mind it's 5pm and busy because people are coming home from work.My boyfriend went to the counter to ask for someone to come help the poor girl behind the counter because at that time the line had over 6 people and that's a lot for one person.The counter lady did nothing and about another 10 minutes of waiting I myself went back and asked for a manager to help.Which she did but the line is still long.... You would think they would have more people helping customers instead of standing around talking and ignoring customers.I really felt bad for that girl she should have to run the whole deli department by herself.I will NEVER come back to this location again. read more

This Publix location has to be the worst! Its the closest to my house but everytime I come here they are out of white bread at the sub station. It's not like I come late either it's 830pm they don't close until 11pm. It's very frustrating and it seems to only happen at this location. This is why I love Publix! 820 Came to store #820 to pick up subs for the whole road trip tribe (Six of us). The guy making the subs clearly did not have the patience for special requests, and though I would insist on an ingredient for only half of the sub, he would allow it to pour into the other side. I realize special requests can be frustrating, and it especially is for me who always orders for my family and I have to pray I get a cooperative clerk. Well, the kicker was when he made a wrap for my daughter whom has a high sensitivity to spices. He added cucumbers that also had jalapeños in it. I asked him to please remake it she can avoid an outbreak and he went to open it to show me that it didn't have the ingredient. After two sub orders of trying to be patient, this was enough. I told him I was not interested and went to the front to let the manager know I was disappointed and I was going to another Publix for my subs. Oreole (front desk manager) quickly stopped me and literally begged me to stay. She called the store Asst manager over and he got the deli manager, Tonya to help me. Tonya apologized and actually prepared the subs herself for me. They asked me to see them the next time I came in to their store so they can be sure my experience is a good one. The subs (as per Publix usual) were perfect and amazing! My experience turned out great and I can only say, as long as you share your experiences with the store manager, they can maintain or improve their customer service. I generally like Publix so that's the only reason I gave it two stars. It's conveniently located everywhere in Broward. But I got a ham from there for Christmas. A publix brand ham. It was so disgusting I could not eat it. The texture was so weird almost like....idk...it was soft & yucky to eat. Never buy publix brand ham. Thought I was just saving money by getting the store brand which is usually comparable. Wrong! I was also losing taste. I can't even get my money back because I had to throw it out after I cooked it. read more

I love writing first reviews! This is "my Publix", which is what people usually call the Publix closest to their home, I guess. All and all, I am lucky. Although not the biggest, this Publix is pretty new, well lit, always clean and organized, and has some of the nicest people you will ever meet working here. From the moment you walk in the door, until you drive away in your car, you will encounter smile after smile from their wonderful employees, and it is all truly genuine. Then why 4 stars? As soon as you reach the deli counter/ subs and prepared foods area, it is like another world. There are maybe a handful of employees back there that have really bad attitudes and seem to hate their job. I don't get it! They do not fit in! I have seen them purposely ignore customers and keep cleaning and do whatever they are doing. It's like they have a power trip going on with eachother about who is finally going to help the customer. Obviously, they do not want to. Publix, please check this out; these 3 or 4 people are keeping you from being perfect! If I avoid that little corner in the front left of the store, shopping truly is a pleasure! I'll be back with a review update and a fifth star if this changes. read more
