Just stopped by to pick up a pre ordered cookie cake from the bakery for an event at work. I was called beforehand and informed that our order was almost ready. From the time I walked in until the time I walked out the store every employee I crossed paths with greeted me and/or assisted me with such great service and a smile. I was able to get help with picking up our cookie cake and locating 5 birthday cards for office birthdays. This made my visit pleasant and quick. Due to such great service, I wanted to make sure I left a review from my short visit. Highly recommend visiting I would definitely return. read more

This is Publix is the worst!!! I just called to order a cake. The person who answered the phone did not speak good English at all. I had to ask for someone who I can understand. I asked that person her name and she said cake decorated. I said do you have a name? I only got to this Publix because it's near my house. They use to be good at keeping animals out of the store. Two Saturday morning ago I went in there and there were two dogs in the store and they were not service animals. The only person I can say knows what they are doing is Ms Anne in the deli. read more

The Orchard Square Publix in Kennesaw is seriously lacking. Went to shop today and was hoping to sample some products at their Publix Tasting Event (in which all Publix stores are supposed to be participating). 30 minutes after it was scheduled to start there wasn't one demo station set up. I asked a manager if this store was participating in the event and she said, "what time was it supposed to start?". Pathetic. read more

Hey everyone I got a huge spiral ham that was packed with 2 halves. I unwrapped the plastic and my family cooked and ate 1 half of the ham. It's very tasty The other half has been untouched in the fridge. Because the outer seal is broken it needs to be cooked sooner than later and honestly my family can only eat so much ham. I'd like some one to come get this ham right now (it's 7 pm) and put in your fridge to cook for your family tomorrow or even cook it tonight if you want. .. Spiral hams are technically cooked so you could eat as is but it's reccomend to cover w foil cook 350 for atleast 45 mins. Anyone want this ham??? Pumpkin spice cold brew and can veggies???. I'm giving this Publix 5 Stars because of how well they are handling the COVID 19 Pandemic. They have this process streamlined for sure. Each aisle is one way only. There are clear markings on the floor telling you which way to walk. The employees are all wearing masks (although I did see an employee wearing only a mask on her mouth, not covering her nose, while assembling what I believed to be a shop-from-home order. Someone should explain to her the appropriate way to wear masks, for her own safety as well as that of others. They are keeping very well stocked during this time, except for the toilet paper, which I haven't found at this location in weeks. Their checkout staff are all staying upbeat and professional. Although this grocery store is insanely expensive, it's my go-to, as Kroger never has anything in stock. read more

I use to come in here all the time but for some reason I thought they had closed down...but I guess I was smoking something because they've never closed down...So here I am again...As usual this Publix has friendly sales people not only working the aisle but the cashiers themselves are terrific. It looks like they recently remodeled so some of them items have moved to different aisles...have no fear there are plenty of people working the floor to get you back on course and on your merry ways....keep up the good work guys... read more

This is by far the best Publix I have ever shopped in. I love, love shopping there on Sunday morning when most of the world is asleep. I get all of the attention! The staff is so helpful and greet me with a smile ALWAYS. Unlike Kroger, if I ask for assistance with finding an item they take me to the item in lieu of pointing their finger and telling me where to go. The store is always clean and organized. The floor shines and the store smells fresh. There isn't a strange spoiled odor when I walk in the door. I can't express enough how nice this location is. Yes, as most people say, Publix is pricey on everything. Especially the produce and poultry. However it is always fresh. I get less for more money, but I don't care because the quality is there! Besides cleanliness, friendliness I love the buy one get one free sells. There are usually a wide array of things on sale. read more

This location is truly horrible. Not only is it small and does not have many things that other locations have available, but they do not care about quality control. Their produce and vegetables are constantly moldy and old. When brought to their attention (twice), nothing is done. The exact same things were still on display for sale a week later. The most recent was a vegetable tray we bought that looked fine from the outside. After eating the first layer of veggies, it was moldy underneath. And I am pregnant on top of that. They gave us our money back, but did not care to fix the problem upon my next visit. I drive a farther distance to shop now and avoid this location at all costs. read more

Ew, gross is mostly what I have to say. I once had a finance professor send us out to check out the differences in grocery stores in good areas and bad areas. Now that little lesson lets me know just what kind of area I live in. This store is just awful. I was actually drawn to write a letter to corporate, it was so bad. Would you believe I didn't even get a form letter reply? At that point I realized Publix doesn't really care about it's customers and Kroger is my place. I actually travel two exits past another Kroger to get to a great Kroger in Town Lake for my weekly shopping. Now let me say one thing, they are convenient, good for the basics, and other than the produce and dairy sections, pretty clean. I like this store better than other Publix I have been shopped. It's smaller than others but has a better selection of organic produce than other Publix. It has what I'm looking for so there's no need for me to visit the bigger stores even though I live close to a larger Publix. Traffic isn't too bad; getting in and out is pretty quick. I like Publix better than Kroger because the quality is better on meats, seafood, produce and frozen vegetables. Publix brand frozen vegetables make Kroger's brand look like crap. I get the feeling that Kroger brand is nothing more that what's left after everyone else has gotten theirs. You pay for quality but with coupons and buy one get one free specials I do just fine with Publix on a tight budget. I save by getting quality items that look good, don't spoil before I can eat them and taste good when I cook them!! read more

I came in to get cupcakes made for the nurses I work with for National Nurse Week and I showed the woman at the bakery and she said no problem! Came in later and they turned out even better than I thought!! The other woman helped me carry them to checkout and made the time to ask me about my job and school and she was just so sweet! Such a disgusting and rude store. I went in one day get get a few odds and ends and the store smelled like a sewage line busted and the store managers acted like nothing was wrong and risked the health and well being of the customers buying food being cooked in that environment. Then the one thing I went to look for they didn't bother ordering extra for the sale that was going on and tried to blame it on the vendors. Also public is way over priced 24 slice pack of Kraft cheese was almost 5 dollars and I went to anything store and it was almost 3 dollars cheaper and wasn't on sale. read more

Everyone is so helpful and nice here (well not the deli area). I haven't had much luck there. I mean if I was handling meat all day; I wouldn't be happy either. Recently they have been having buy one get one free items. I also love their area where you can try some of the food that they're cooking. The store also offers to put your groceries in your car in the huge lot. read more

I was here again last week and just 2 cashiers again. One was the front end guy running the service desk also. Is this company so broke that the front end people have to run 2 registers now? Prices are 2.00 more at least on everything here compared to Walmart. Publix is pocketing their profits and screwing their employees and customers. I will avoid this location again. read more

I am typically not one to complain, and have been to this store several times. Each time it seems to get worse and worse, the customer service has never been too good so I usually keep my expectations very low. Today I put an order in online for two tenders subs , and an artichoke flat bread. Waited the full hour requested before coming to the store and on top of that waited in line because I couldn't receive an help at the online order pick up. It turns out they had not started the order or even pulled it off the ticket machine. I was told they were sorry and they would have it prepared shortly for me.So I then i continued waiting about 10 minutes later the gentlemen told me he could not make the flat bread because there were no artichokes. Okay , another disappointment but I can handle it so I just requested a buffalo chicken flatbread instead . He did so and after 10 more minutes a women came to me and told me there were no tenders, so at this point I asked for an explanation on if there were just none or they had been sold out. Her demeanor quickly changed and I was just reminded there are none , so what do I pretty much want her to do about it. To my shock the manager witnessed this all take place and just walked off so no help there. I was all prepared to let it go and just mark this Publix off my list of stores. Then to really top it all off I get home and discovered the buffalo flatbread they ever so greatly made me as a replacement at my cost and time was barely even cooked. The edges were barely toasted and the toppings were just balled up in the middle to the point where the soft middle of the uncooked flat bread just bowed in and everything fell off once picked up. I will say this is the final disappointing experience I will have here, and will just steer clear next time. read more

This Publix is clean with the shelves always being stocked and well organized. The service is great and willing to help if needed. This isn't one of their busier stores, however I prefer it that way. There never seems to be a wait in line for more than a minute or two. read more

I would give this location zero stars if possible. I have just moved to the area and this is my closest Publix. I have shopped there three times. Twice I have taken back expired food that was MONTHS past expiration. Yes, I promptly received a refund, but dang! Today, I literally had 13 items in my cart, not another soul in the store, and three registers open. I chose one, it happened to be an express checkout lane, although I didn't notice that, and I was SENT AWAY. I counted my items. THIRTEEN! No one else in the store!! I had to go to the "non-express lane" to checkout. We spoke to the manager who told us that policy was no items over 10. Period. Are you kidding me?? Does you express scanner not work past 10? Take me out back and beat me for having 13 items! My previous Publix would have never done that, especially with no one else waiting or even nearby to checkout. The checkout clerk stood there waiting for someone with under 10 items while I checked out in another line. NO ONE SHOWED UP!! Kroger, here we come. Business lost! read more

This store is ALWAYS, without doubt, continually out of at least one item that I need. Out of fresh basil a couple of weeks ago so I had to buy the actual basil plant for a recipe - dirt & all, they were also out of cilantro paste that day, out of barley last week for a soup I planned to make, out of chopped frozen spinich this weekend - it never ends! Oh, I almost forgot, they were out of ALL frozen french fries on Saturday afternoon. It never ends - they need to keep up with stock better. However, I do find the staff to be friendly.... read more

This is my favorite Publix. I once asked if there was more of an item in the back because the space for it was empty. The employee came back saying they were out but told me when it would arrive. In the meantime, he had told another employee, who then tracked down two cans, and walked through the store looking for me to make sure I got what I needed. Another time, I called in an order to the pharmacy. The pharmacist called me back to say they were out but she found another Publix close by that did have the item. She had already called them to fill the prescription and have it ready for me to pick up. The service at this store has always been over the top. I love shopping here. read more

How sad that the previous reviewer had such an unpleasant experience at the Publix on Bells Ferrry Road. I have shopped there for eight years and on only two occasions have I had any complaints. Publix corporate responded immediately and within 48 hours I received a personal phone call from the store manager. I have also sent emails complimenting individual employees and again received prompt feedback from corporate and local officials. If I ever have a problem I can go to customer service, ask for the manager and am immediately assisted. The store is not as big as the typical Kroger and can therefore not offer as many different items. If you don't find what you need management will shop at a competing store for you. Horrible customer service....they stole $5.00 from me....I asked for $50.00 cash back and cashier Sinead gave me money in my hands...I moved two feet from cash register and counted cash and found $45.00 in my hand...immediately returned and told her that I need $5.00 more. She called floor manager and they counted all money in her register and told me that her register is fine and that they cannot give me money.
