The store is very large and well stocked, it was very clean and well lit when I visited. The only downside was that there were only two electric mobility carts for handicapped customers. One was in use and the remaining one that I used, ran out of power after about ten minutes. It's very painful for me to walk, so I had to cut my grocery shopping trip short. This store needs to have more at least two more of these mobility carts. read more

My "go-to" grocery store in Niceville! It's nice, clean, bright with a large selection of produce, dry goods, meats, dairy....they have it all! I certainly appreciate the cleanliness during the COVID-19 pandemic. Every cart is sanitized prior to a store representative handing it to a customer. They've got a lot of things in stock that aren't in stock at other places. The management, cashiers, stockers...everyone are all very nice and friendly. This is definitely my favorite grocery store in the area. read more

Cashier rang up $13 for 3 cucumbers marked for $5. Cashier could not rectify it after confirming its 3 for $5. A woman from customer service came over and supposedly corrected it. After I found out I'm still overcharged by 3.29 and told her about it. She acted like I was big bother angrily threw 3 29 cash to me without saying a word. Publix, we've been a local resident and had shopped there since it's opened. I can't believe this is the kind of people you hired to treat customers. it's your own mistakes and it gets called out, just own up and apologize. Customers, Do check your receipt before you leave. Publix in Niceville, Florida is a great and friendly place to shop. I do instacart sometimes I will gell orders to shop for their customers, and in the produce department the produce clerk named Daniel was helpful, I've needed a certain kind of brand name for sweet kale salad, and he was working on restocking product and Daniel stopped and helped me and found the salad that the customer wanted, I'd thanked him, and I want to say, what a kind man and thank you, Daniel for helping me in my time of need. read more

Good selection of canned and fresh products. Good meat. Deli. Nice people. Prices are higher than Walmart, but it así much nicer.

I have to downgrade a star. I am still a fan overall however several things drive me crazy. I hope Publix will take note. 1. Being out of stock on several items I'm after, every time. 2. Having to check expiration dates while I shop. Way to many times I get home and realize I just bought something that has already expired. 3. Having to stop and often wait at the service desk for the current coupons. 4. Bagging cold and warm items together. I separate these items as I shop, and place them that way when I unload. This is really a no brainer. When I get to my vehicle I move things around. It's just annoying. 5. I use coupons, I wish all of the cashiers were coupon friendly. Some seem aggravated by it. Sunday, 19 March 2023 purchased 2lbs of pink shrimp from Publics. The shrimp was foul. Returned it and was refunded my money. The young man at customer service made me feel as if I had done something wrong. what A departure from the normal outstanding service. an apology would have been nice. read more

Not the best experience at a Publix. Usually customer service outside of Miami is great, but this Publix was bad. I spoke to three managers as they walked by and all seemed clueless. I ordered 50 subs and they were an hour late. Then 7 subs were missing and i has to go back for them. Not a single apology or attempt to make it right was made. I go to Public's pretty often. The customer service is exceptional. As a senior citizen I appreciate the extra help finding products. I don't think there is another grocer in the area with associates as gracious and hospitable as Public's. Thank you from a very happy customer. read more

The one thing I do have a problem with from time to time is that they are out of certain things that I like to get on a weekly basis. First and last time going to this location. Two ladies making the subs accused us of cutting the line, as if lines are so complicated and we don't know where they start and end. Even after saying we didn't cut; they were still going on about it. Then each time we asked for something they didn't have sliced, she made it known it was an annoyance. The crestview publix never does that, they just offer to cut it. Overall a very negative and uncomfortable experience. I wish I told them to just go watch the security footage if they were so concerned about us cutting a line. read more

I love this Publix. Love their subs and most workers are so friendly. Publix wings are so good too. They have pretty sweet deals on BOGO. I wouldn't go just to do my regular grocery because some of the items are overpriced. Deli workers can be hit or miss sometimes and make you wait forever but other than that, I've had good encounters here. read more

Publix is the only place I know of that sells the food I feed my doggo. Publix was out of it for about a week so I've been checking and re-checking to see if it came in. Instead of driving up there this morning I though i would call instead. The young lady at the customer service desk named 'Meg' was awesome. She displayed beyond caring professional service. She checked the cooler herself and unfortunately it wasn't in there. She could have left it at that but instead She said it was probably on the truck that just came in and said she would call me back if they had it and set some aside for me. She did like she said she would and called me back. I was at Publix within 10 minutes and there she was with my dog food set aside. Meg provided not only exceptional customer service to me but to all the other people I saw her helping that were at that customer service desk. Publix made the right decision on hiring this young lady. Give that girl a raise. I have not experienced this kind of care from anyone this year. And that's not an exaggeration. Thank Meg! read more

Have been shopping at Publix for 25 years, in several areas of central Florida. Have always been a huge fan of Publix. However, shopping is not a pleasure at the Niceville store, here's why: 1) If it's on sale - they're out of it - guaranteed! Who's got time for a rain-check?! 2) If it's a popular product - they're out of it. 3) Many of the items that I have always gotten from Publix (various locations) - they don't even carry, here. 4) Everythings dented. (& I'm referring to the shelves, not the dump bins.) 5) I find out of date products every time I shop there. 6) Staff isn't always knowledgeable about product locations, pricing, sales, etc. 7) Feels very tight & cramped - very unusual for a Publix. It is a clean store & the managers are very friendly & helpful, as is customary at Publix, but I have brought up the dents & out-of-date issues to them on at least a couple of occasions. I have never been a Walmart grocery shopper, so I was so excited when I found out a Publix was coming to Niceville! Unfortunately, I have been mostly disappointed & seem to usually leave frustrated, often forced to go find products I use elsewhere. read more

This store is super. The staff greet you as soon as you walk through the door, and I don't think I have left with just the very basic items I wanted and needed. Publix have the most awesome range of food, including organic goods, in the area. There is not one aisle that you go through that you won't be greeted by a Publix worker and asked if there's anything you need. Was in Publix in Niceville, bought some items in the express lane and the young man couldn't wait to walk away from the register and talk to his buddy about his truck rims. Saw me bagging my items but it never occurred to him that he was supposed to do that. I can get that kind of service in the self check out at Walmart for less money and exactly the same products. read more

They opened my produce so they could stuck their hand inside to flatten out the barcode so it would scan. Then a few weeks later I had ordered 2 birthday cakes for my daughters 1st birthday, one of them was done wrong, and the other hadn't even been made. So they very sloppily threw something together and called it a cake. Few months later I placed an order for subs online so that my husband wouldn't mess up the order, and he can gran n' go after 12 hrs at work he really didn't want to wait in line anywhere. Nothing had been made! Then they "find" the order and do it completely wrong, so then we had to take them back. Last night I had the final straw when we went in, my son ran into the back of my legs, knocking me forward, and even though I try very hard not to cuss I slipped and said the f word, but not only had it hurt my legs, but catching myself hurt my back too, which already is in pain. Low and behold I get chastised for cursing in the store, by a manager. Their repeated incompetence astounds me, and to then be chastised by them, when I have continually received sub-par service from them. I promise you I wont be going back. read more

The Publix pharamacy uped my prescription from $12. to $31. out of nowhere so I transferred to CVS to a cost of $8. On the other hand, the grocery part of the store is very nice with a host of organics, still pricy but getting better. read more
