Our newest grocery is the Publix Grocery Store. The workers are always friendly & very helpful. I'm disabled so they usually have an electric wheelchair available. Which means a lot. The store is clean and everything stocked. The only negative is the highest food prices in Sevierville Tn. read more

Every time I visit a publix- I get jealous of the states that are blessed to have them. Not only is the store so organized but also fully stocked. The store is clean and the parking lot was clean as well! They have great deli, bakery, and seafood department. I needed this place for some things I'd forgotten to pack/things we had to get once we arrived. And I was able to find most everything I needed. While I was disappointed to find they don't carry Cheesecake Factory Ice Cream, I was very pleased with their selection on Ben and Jerry's. So that made up for it. This place is on the main road. It happened to be very close to our hotel, so that was nice. But things get super busy and crazy, so be prepared for traffic just trying to get into the parking lot! read more

The staff at this location truly care and always go above and beyond whenever possible. I ordered a cake for a managers birthday where I work. I was disappointed, embarrassed and upset when I saw it. A coworker picked it up for me. It was suppose to say the name of manager, 50 and over the hill. Instead it read RIP on a tombstone. This wasn't Halloween or a funeral! The party was to start and we had to use it. I apologized and showed everyone the ticket where a girl Savanna wrote on it over the hill. It taste good but never again will I use the bakery for a birthday cake! read more

This is a clean and well organized Publix store. The staff were friendly and helpful in guiding me to what I was seeking. The prices are a bit higher than the national discount grocers, but the lines are short, parking is close and easy, and they were not overly crowded during this visit. I would give Publix 4 stars if you could buy produce not prepackaged In plastic. For example, I don't need to buy a huge amount of green beans for 2 people. The employees are very nice. This is a nice grocery store. It gets very crowded because it's one of a couple stores in the area. They do have a great selection of beer and wine. There weren't many wild caught seafood options though. read more

To start this review off I will say that management handled the situation very well. My wedding was on July 4th at 3pm and had the pickup time for our very unique cookie cake for our special day. My mother-in-law got there at 4pm on the 3rd and they were in the middle of finishing it. My wife and I ordered our cake on April 14th so they would have plenty of time to prepare and fix to celebrate our wonderful day. But the bakers were scooping icing onto the cookie and pressing down forcefully to hurry the process to get it done. The cake was ruined and not the way we saw the picture of what we wanted. Thank goodness we received a full refund and went with another company to have a cookie cake but it's not what we wanted to start with. The reason we wanted to go with Publix is because it was different and we weren't having a traditional anything something out of the box. read more

Stayed in Gatlinburg recently. I told myself, drive to PF for Publix, don't go to Food C*** in Gatlinburg, but, it was closer, so went to FC to get a few things. Later in the week, went to Publix. A world of difference in these 2 grocery stores. Publix is clean, great variety, ample parking, fresh looking food. Vacationers, take the drive from Gatlinburg to PF & go to Publix, it's well worth the drive, 100X better than Food C***. read more

Perhaps I went at the wrong time, but at 6 pm on a Saturday in August, this place was a COVID disaster. Unlike my Publix at home, no one was wiping down the carts, and the entry area was shoulder to shoulder. Half the people weren't wearing a mask at all, and probably one-fourth either had it over their mouth but not their nose or were wearing it as a chin strap. Hardly anyone was paying attention to the flow of the aisles. Overall, it was a massive $hit show and the Publix employees couldn't have cared less. To be honest, we shouldn't expect teenage grocery employees to manage a global pandemic, but the managers could have done such a better job adhering to corporate's standards. read more

Living in Krogerland Indiana we miss this store sooooomuch. Visited in July and will return next week. Store is One of the big reasons we travel to Pigeon Forge but they promised to build one in Louisville next year.. The bakery is very special given the derth of great bakeries south of the Hudson River. Haven't had a hard hard roll since July and look forward to the other great items they cary like Peter Luger Steak Sauce. Yum. read more

Picked up butter, realized I didn't need it, store was super packed, so I sat it down 4 foot from where I got it. publix worker was blocking me from putting it back in its spot. i usually don't do that, but being packed and I was in a hurry, I did. And the Publix man tracked me down to ask if I put it down, and then when I said yes and I was sorry, he threw his hands in the air and said " yea, I'm sure you are." Yea.... We were so thankful to find this Publix grocery store. It's right and day better than the nearby Meijer. It has better offerings, it's well lit and just feels like a much nicer place. The whole shopping experience is so much better overall that it's not really worth comparing price or offerings. read more

I came down to Tennessee to have a bit of a break from Ohio and Publix was genuinely one of the highlights of my trip. Publix is exponentially better than any other big grocery store chain and this location brought me great joy. We didn't really want to go into any restaurants, so we picked up some groceries to use during our stay. I got all of my southern favorites that you can't find in Ohio like sweet tea and Blue Bell ice cream. They had an amazing produce section and it all looked and tasted so fresh and ripe. The prices can't be beat and they had a surprising amount of more specialty items which I wasn't expecting but I was more than happy with. I would highly recommend this grocery store to anyone in the area! One warning - they don't enforce mask wearing and people around the store don't always have them on. It is a very small minority of the people in there, but if you're really cautious about COVID this may not be the best for you. read more

I used to be Publix fan despite their higher prices. Never more. I went Thursday to pickup subs to take home. I was waiting at sub counter for my turn. One order was ahead of me. An employee walks up to the counter inspite of not social distancing and asks the counter person to fix his order ahead of mine sine he worked there. They agreed to do this. I could not believe the deli person agreed and was also shocked the employee would think he was so important he did not have to wait his turn and client be darned. I asked the counter person why she let let him let him go out of turn and the reply was I did no see the other people who were all ready in line. I had already been in for over 10 minutes when the employee cut in and know the counter person had seen me as they had already seen me and said one order was ahead of me. I guess the new motto is client treatment is last and employee hook up first. It will be a cold day in hell before I go back. Both employees should be terminated. read more

Stopped in yesterday for just a few things on the way to my cabin. I was greeted by atleast 4 ppl just walking past them it was slick and span and beautiful fixtures for everything! The bakery was so beautiful and after being greeted by the baker and me telling him I was just browsing he soon had wrapped a cookie and I was eating a delicious complementary chocolate chip cookie..upon leaving I passed a very nicely dressed man(probably the manager) and he personally thanked me for stopping and to have a nice day..I'll definitely be going back to shop at this Publix anytime I'm in the vicinity. 10/10 would recommend! We frequent this Publix location quite often and I'm taking the time to write this review today about a girl who works there named Kristina. Every time my family comes in she is so friendly above and beyond helpful not only to us as the guests but from what we noticed to her coworkers as well. She always has a smile on her face and is never in a bad mood always asked how we are... Just exceptional customer service. Exactly what Publix needs as a role model. I love publix. It literally is a pleasure shopping there. Especially this one. Why is this one so special? It's the team that works there. I've had managers bring me a basket as I'm wondering with full hands, always friendly people. But one person that stands out was Jess. This woman is superb. I was in a week ago and left the cards I purchased and had to wait to get to town to get them and Jess helped me. I have a thing for cards and when they're bogo why not- so I was in there maybe two days ago getting more with my groceries. Jess was bagging and we were joking I'll remember my cards this time. As I paid and went to grab my 3 bags and cards she starts walking with them! I'm like no no I can do it. She's like we're going to make sure these cards get home with you! I laughed so hard and had the greatest chat on our way to my car. She's funny! She's kind! She brightened my day! She's what makes publix such a pleasure. read more

Very rude cashier. No manners at all. My daughter was taken to a nearby hospital today while on our family vacation and I ran in for a few quick items and was treated very poorly. I have been in dozens and dozens of Publix stores and was never treated like this before. I won't step foot in here again. A sign of bad management. read more

Shop Publix every week, love the selections, never had anything that I wasn't happy with. Everyone friendly and ready to help in every department but this week two departments really went out of their way to be helpful. First the meat department was out of certain steaks I was looking for but not for long. They cut and packaged them in 5 minutes. Then on Father's day I was looking for a small cake, found one and asked the lady decorating cakes if she could write happy Father's Day on it for me. The cake was only $6.99 she was so gracious, wrote on the cake and treated it like it cost $35.00. Wish I would have gotten her name. Also love the fact that you don't have to buy two of the "buy one get one free" the way Food City is. Sorry Food City I only stop now if I have to. read more

Love this store, have been waiting for Publix in Sevier county for 2 years since moving from Florida. Their customer service, quality of their products is far superior to what has been there for years. They even have brought their policy for several free antibiotics, some high blood pressure medicines and diabetic medicines. No "card" needed to get special prices! read more
