The first Publix I've been too that has felt upscale. I even was tempted to buy bakery items as it was uber inviting. Other unique items to this location included cut up squashes ready for the oven and a great selection of fresh ravioli from Italy along with some other product lines I haven't seen elsewhere. I bought a premade salad just prior to them closing on Monday night. Upon getting home when I opened up salad the dressing was missing so I went in the following day and I was told I could not get a new salad with the correct contents & was given a packet of dressing only. Well these salads are only fresh for the day they are made & tossed after closing nightly for the lettuce wilts. I did not eat any of the salad I had paid $10 for & got stuck with day old wilted lettuce which I had to toss mist if it for it was not edible! NOT IMPRESSED WHATSOEVER! If I pay $10 for a salad I should be given a fresh full salad at least! I had my receipt which showed date & time on it which I showed to lady working behind counter that very next day. Just one word: Boiled peanuts! We found 2-lb bags of Hardy Farms Peanuts (plain or spicy) in the produce section at this Publix! That's a big bag, so we got the plain, so we could make some each way. You can microwave them a few minutes, but we instead let them simmer for 15-min or so, with or without a heap of pepper flakes, and then let them sit on low heat to grab a few now and then. We like to leave a little chew to them. And any left-over can be refrigerated for a quick reheat. These came out just like the ones at our favorite little roadside stands, produce markets, and convenience stores! read more

The service at this Publix was horrendous. I tried to ask for very nice the first timeand was completely ignored. The second time i asked for help i went overboard on trying to be nice and the guy grunted and barely turned around. I walked away. Thank god i don't have to come back here again. read more

DON'T buy the Cod!!! Third time my man friend bought it and it smells so bad I smell it as soon as he walks in the door. Saying it reeks is putting it mildly. Apparently it is shipped from Iceland not frozen. They will take it back however--it is a hassle. read more

Best Publix in the area. Fruit and veggies are outstanding . Staff is so friendly and warm. One notable call out: the cool guy in the veggie area with Boston accent who never misses a chance to welcome me with a" how you doin' sunshine?" His genuine passion for service and making every visitor feel like a valued guest makes me a loyal customer - he is simply exceptional. I have been shopping here for 7 years and have had so many positive experiences. I no longer drive to Whole Foods as BB Publix quality outshines WF. My only complaint: certain items are much much more expensive than other stores in the area which necessitates me going to other stores for those items. Still a five star experience. This is for the Pharmacy. We continue to have issues with this Publix pharmacy. They always say "sorry, we're having a staffing issues." This has been going on for 18 months since my mom has been sick. It sometimes takes days to get a prescription filled. Sometimes they only fill half the prescriptions and I have to come back and get the other ones a day or two later. Today I was told the prescription would be ready in an hour. I got there and they had forgotten to fill it. They said they would fill it while I was there but when they pulled the bottle off the shelf, it was expired. The pharmacist is very nice and professional but I just think they are completely overwhelmed and under stocked. We've had to switch to Walgreens. read more

Since 2015 I've been shopping at this Publix's. The store & property are super clean. Everything is so fresh, fish, meats, vegetables, fruits, prepared food & the best baked goods. I'm posting today because while I was loading my car, a manager came out to the parking lot & told me they saw on their video that 4 minutes earlier I had dropped a one hundred dollar bill. I am so appreciative & thankful to manager & employees. This is a gold star store for sure. read more

I shop at Publix despite the higher prices because the customer service makes up for it . But I'm sorry to say this store is a poor representation of what my "home" store in New Port Richey offers. When the cashier said that product is bogo I looked at the bagger to see if he volunteered to go get it for me. Nope he said help yourself! Then today I went in they were not busy and my cashier Marissa did not load my things into the cart. I was struggling when a manager came by to help. I had asked Marissa if I could get help to the car she waved outside and said I think they will help out there. Yikes I'm paying for this. Again the manager helped me out. So sad! read more

Wow, if Floridians only knew how overpriced Publix is compared to real grocery stores. However, options are almost zero since Publix nearly has a monopoly on the state. This store has so few options on almost everything and prices are jacked up for everything except publix branded items. I miss the stores in AZ, TX, and IL!! They were so much better! read more

They JUST closed, the last customer walked out as soon as we pulled up to the doors. My 3 year old daughter was holding her pee and literally just had to use the restroom and they wouldn't even allow us that small act of kindness. I understand people wanna go home but definitely would've appreciated it. Glad I don't live around here cause how freaking rude. I find it very unusual that the Manager's at the Publix Bellaire shopping plaza in Daytona Beach Fl. Are tolerated by Publix corporate offices. The deli is a joke !!! I have called in orders various times at least 85% of the time the deli staff can't have it ready. The managers standing around doing nothing!! This Publix is considerably smaller than any other Publix I've been in, owing to the fact it was an Albertson's location before. If you live or are visiting near the beach, it carries the basics, but the selection is obviously less than the full sized store just down the street where West Bay intersects Clearwater-Largo Rd. Seems like the prices here are higher than that store, too, owing to the convenience factor. I prefer the seafood and meats at Surf & Turf Market in the plaza across Indian Rock Rd. Both stores have fairly high prices, but Surf & Turf has higher quality, in my opinion. read more

This is fine as Publixes (Publices?) go, but really, I went here twice in two days while visiting family and, well, it was found wonting. Both trips consisted of me and my NYC-based cousin whose own foodie douchiness makes me look like Guy Fieri. Visit #1: After searching in vain for gluten-free bread, I ask the bakery. "Do you have gluten-free bread?" Received a look similar to the look that dog gives to that phonograph in that old RCA logo. I ask the same question of customer service. "Hmmm....ok, it's probably in the freezer." Sigh. They did have Udi's, which is good, but yes, it was hidden away in the freezer. Visit #2: My cousin and I search for a specific brand of wine that I easily buy in most Atlanta Publixes. Non-existent. Our second choice? Not there. Eventually we just grabbed whatever was available because it was Christmas Eve and we didn't want to spend all day in the store. In all, their wine selection, though seemingly extensive, didn't really have much variety. Regarding both incidents, cuz said to me, "It's like shopping in 6 years ago." Indeed, cuz. Re: the Publix at 2770 W Bay Dr Belleair Bluffs, FL 33770 United States. I stood at the bakery department with four people working right in front of me with no one else in line. I stood there for over a minute and no one, even after looking at me, offered to help or asked what I needed. Normally this Publix is very helpful. But whoever was working in the bakery May 1st at 11:00am was not helpful. I walked out and went to a different Publix where I knew I would get better service. read more

Have shopped at this store for many years. Usually it's ok, not great, not bad. Got round one of vaccine there. Came back for round two during the time window they gave me. Treated very dismissively by the pharmacy staff. Told I should probably try again another day when they're not busy. So basically left stranded by Publix after getting round one, but unable to get round two. Be very careful if you go here for vaccinations read more

It'd be nice if someone could teach the younger lady at the self check out how to say "you're welcome", or at least that she should acknowledge guests when they speak to her. She has clear glasses and blonde/grey ish hair. She assisted me at the self check out when I double scanned an item. I thanked her for her help and she said nothing. I used this Publix twice on my vacation to Clearwater. Dependable and relatively easy to get to, it gets the shopping job done. Great selection and I found my new favorite chips: Luke's Chips (fitting, isn't it?). I love the selection of organic options and hope they keep working on that. I always say never judge a chain by one store. I travel alot and I go to alot of Publix's. The same one's over and over. But this one steals the show!! ON my second visit they kind of remembered me. It's kind of hard I'm disabled and I care for my grandson who I ususally have sitting in the amigo cart well protected with pillows and blankets. The customer service manager and many of the stock personal greeted me and my grandson with enthusiasm and helped me locate items I was looking for. They are renovating there location. They just seem to all be happy and work cohesively together and seem to enjoy there jobs. If they don't they hide it well. I appreciate them remembering me and talking to us when we come in. I love the fact that this Publix is a little smaller than the other Location's, this way I can get in and get out. It's always clean and well stocked. I get Subs here all the time and the Deli Meats and vegies are always fresh. The people who work here are also very friendly. Oh,..and the Carts don't have busted wheels. read more
