For $3 at first I thought it was $6- it's next to Walgreens I can also park my electric bike here with confidence and it's a safe area. The items are more limited compared to Walmart but still offers enough options. Will be back from time to time but still prefer Walmart. I gotta come back to check buy one get one free and clearance deals as well as check the Publix brand items - I got hummus for $2.99 compared to brand name but also they sell boar's head deli meat and cheeses. I've been coming to this Publix for over 15 years and have always had positive experiences. Unfortunately, today was the first time I left feeling disappointed. I stopped by the deli to order a sub, and there was no line. The employee who helped me, Leland, seemed noticeably cold and appeared irritated from the moment I approached. While I understand everyone can have an off day, his demeanor made the interaction very uncomfortable. I thanked him after he made my sandwich, but he didn't acknowledge it or respond at all. I have been shopping at Publix Boot ranch for over 7 years, even though their prices are higher than other supermarkets and I am going to start shopping somewhere else. I am offered all these promos Ex: free flowers at times offered, $5.00 0ff if you spend a certain amount and I wondered why I never received them and today I was informed that I am supposed to put my phone number in and I never knew that and was not told by a cashier. Yesterday I bought water as the sign by the water said buy one get one and when I went to the cashier I asked the cashier about the buy one get one and he charged me for both which I noticed when I got home I went into Publix today and asked about it and with no concern for the mistake the front desk told me they were not the right water which I was surprised and embarrassed as the cashier did not tell me when I was checking out. It really is not the money or the mistake, but Publix acts like they really care about the consumer, but I finally realize that is not the case read more

Service was terrible and frankly border racist. I had a pick up order for 3 subs at 220. I showed up at 250. My order wasn't done. I waited to go up to the guy be hind the counter he looked at my order and said "that's going to be a while bud ". His exact words and proceeds to help the people behind me. The shelves may be empty of toilet paper and cleaning supplies, and the fish and meat aisles are picked over or bare, but every staff member is in every aisle, restocking, smiling, & helping. It's the middle of the day, and CoVid-19 is taking a toll on patrons AND staff, but from the smiles & politeness, you'd never suspect the underlying anxiety. The store is clean, the shelves are orderly, and people are keeping a respectful distance from each other. On a recent visit I presented the pharmacist my prescription together with the print-out of the ScriptSaver WellRx discount for my meds. This print was downloaded from the WellRx website and clearly showed the price for pickup at a Publix Pharmacy. To my utterly surprise I was told that Publix Pharmacy does not honor this discount card. I asked the pharmacist to call the pharmacy help desk published on the WellRx discount card to get help fulfilling my RX. She refused and came back with the same answer: "Publix does not work with this discount company." Consequently, I was forced to pay a higher price in order to get my medication. I followed up with ScriptSave WellRx and was told that Publix is in their network since more than one year and that my discount should have been applied. Publix needs to honor their commitment. One of the larger Publix locations I've been in, and the staff is handling things like champs right now even with the panic buying. As someone who can't really stockpile and has to grocery shop after each paycheck, this pandemic has been a nightmare for me. But all the employees are very understanding, always willing to help me find something on my list even as they restock what they can, and they all still have smiles and are friendly from start to finish. One employee was even sanitizing carts as they came in from outside, and they had nearly every checkout line open. They're doing what they can during this craziness, and I appreciate how they're keeping their spirits up too even with how stressful this probably is for them. This location is right off US-19 so it can be a convenient stop on the way home from work depending on which way you're heading, and there's ample parking too. read more

I do hate that the deli changed to only offering breaded chicken wings as a special order. Never remember to order ahead and have to settle for non-breaded. I "HEART" Publix! On my visit to Florida, I shopped at Publix almost everyday. They have the BEST made-to-order deli sandwiches and the best chicken wings EVER! I live across the street so this is my REALLY only grocery store I come too. Always seems to stay clean, cashiers are mostly nice, never had a problem with them. I personally love the service at Publix. They are true BOGOs where they don't jack the price up and then offer the BOGO, like some other grocery stores do. "Publix, where shopping is a pleasure", has been their motto forever. And for the most part it is true. The bigger the store, the larger the assortment of products. The small stores have only the top selling brands. I love their BOGO's, when I can't find something and ask a sales person, they will take me to the item or find out if they carry the product. If they are out of the product they will check in back and if there is none in storage, they will suggest a rain check. Staffs are friendly and helpful and appear to be eager to be there. Also a large Greenwise selection, quality meats and bakery. I am a regular customer for Publix for years. I love the place and the staff. Great service great people quality products.
