It's a smaller location, however it has the main essentials. Store is always clean, staff are always friendly. Parking during peak hours can be tricky. Items are pretty well stocked, I find just about all I come here to look for , however, it really is a very small location , so outside of main essentials - it may be better checking out another location. Parking is a nightmare here, bring your patients. I am hoping the new Publix opening on Powerline Road will eliminate some of the parking issues. That said, the market is clean and orderly. It is well stocked and the staff is friendly. The deli is always busy, but you know, pub-subs and all. The self check outs are helpful, but honestly I still like going to staff since they are nice. The pharmacy is always a good experience as well. They really work to find your med and sell it at a reasonable price. read more

I had been running errands all day and I decided to stop at this Publix, since I was in the Pompano Beach area. I liked the store, it was very clean and very well organized, like most Publix stores. I talked to one of the workers about the weekly specials and he was very helpful and pleasant. So this location is a lil bit pricey, but makes up for in staff awesomeness! 2x now the deli staff has come through w/my pub sub needs! Marianna was a godsend when I thought I'd be in line for an hr after seeing what number the deli line was on, and then informing me that the pub sub line was separate!!! Then I came in at just before 9pm and Zofia was a literal pub sub Angel making me a pub sub from ingredients she was already packing up for the night with nothing but kind words and a smile on her face! Legit this goes so so so far for me! Located in the vicinity of Palm Aire; where there are numerous apartments/condos, townhouses, a country club, and a resort, this Publix is very nice and clean with organized aisles. Same as every other Publix supermarket when it comes to various departments, products, and price. Satisfactory customer service. It was an enjoyable experience shopping here. read more

I have high standards for Publix and I think they have high standards for their employees which is why I was so shocked with the way I was treated today August 28th at approximately 10:20am. I was craving a Publix sub like we all do sometimes. The menu had changed so I had to ask if they still had the Italian. The lady working at the counter said we sure do. I ordered a foot long Publix(not boars head) sub. She did a quick check and said "we don't have Publix meat." she didn't offer to cut more meat. it felt like I had no choice but to order the more expensive sandwich, so I ordered the boars head. I was half expecting her to sell it to me for the lower Publix meat price. While she was making my sandwich, the knife fell on the floor. She picked up the knife, RINSED it off and continued to make and cut my food. I got a contaminated more expensive sub. Yes, I understand Boars Head is not that much more expensive but, I can't taste the difference so why pay it? I know, I know I should have refused that sandwich but, I was in shock and it took some time to sink in. read more

A customer service employee named Salisha maliciously and publicly humiliated an elderly Spanish-speaking woman because she had taken more then one straw. She was at the counter after having made some purchases to get a lottery ticket. Salisha then yelled at her about having taken more than one straw from the deli area. The poor woman was devastated. But it wasn't enough to humiliate her. Salisha then felt it necessary to laugh at the grief-stricken old woman. Such abhorrent behavior is inexcusable and should never be tolerated. Salisha obviously has a miserable existence. Apparently the only thing that helps her cope is to humiliate others. She should not be working at Publix. Hopefully Publix does the right thing and reprimands this employee for her pathetic behavior. read more

I'm really glad this Publix is so close to my job. It saves me a lot of time and helps me keep up with a healthy diet. Publix has everything you need; a deli for subs, cheese and olive bar, bakery, fresh sushi rolls daily. They also have rotisserie chicken and other cooked food options. I could be wrong about this, but the food at this location seems to be cheaper than the Publix closer to my house. I have to give credit to the staff here on how clean and organized they keep the store.The floors are always shined clean and nothing on the shelves are misplaced. The Salads are always fresh ; I usually get the Southern Cobb Salad with a Quarter of rotisserie chicken. I like how the staff informs me if there is a sale on a particular salad or sub that day, too! I will keep using this location for my go to lunch spot 5Stars! read more

10/07/2020 My wife and I really enjoy this Publix location. It is a very friendly group of hard working employees. The Store Manager, Susan Mullan, sets a very professional tone and she makes sure that everything runs smoothly. During the initial shutdown from the Pandemic, she took charge. Set up protocols for safe distancing, plexiglass dividers at checkout, masks, and sanitizing wipes and gels, etc. Supreme thanks to staff for incurring risk and long hours, in helping folks to put food on the table. Your drivers are the best and all of you are the backbone of our community. You were out there for us during these trying and stressful times and we greatly appreciated your courage and compassion. When we enter the Store, Patricia is hard at work, sanitizing the carts and getting them lined up. She is very congenial and has a nice smile. We make our way to the Deli Section where we find Brian, the Manager, always hard at work. He is a great guy and always very amiable. The staff, in this section, is terrific. They work well together and and are always courteous with the customers. They include Andre, Bill, Tanya, Mona, Zofia, Rosena, Karen, and many others. While passing by the Meat Section, we see John is hard at work cutting the meats and preparing to wrap them. He is always very helpful. Isabel is always working hard, keeping the floors clean as a whistle. Our favorite Isle Grocery Replentishment Specialist, Anne, is constantly keeping the shelves neatly stocked. She is always so very helpful. Upon checkout, we usually see Rudy and Jack, working along with Quinn and Glenn. A great group, along with the other wonderful Cashiers we have encountered over the years. So, many, many, thanks for always providing a wonderful shopping experience for us. At times, we have spoken to your excellent pharmacy personnel, and they were only too happy to answer our questions. They are real Pros. Any shopper looking for a super Grocery Store and Pharmacy, stop in and meet the helpful and dedicated folks at the Publix at Palm Aire. You will be glad you did. They have our utmost respect. Online orders are never ready. Ever! Please remove yourself from the stores available to process these orders since they are never done on time, tickets are always hanging off the printer, and most of the people working in the deli and not nice and clueless. We only come here out of convenience, but most of the time there is nothing convenient about it other than it being the closet to our house. We can rarely ever find fresh breads to make sub sandwiches, and overall the store is one of the smallest Publix's I've ever seen. Two words..... process improvement! read more

I've been coming to this publix since it opened. It's only a 2 minute drive from my house which is a plus since, I'm in there almost everyday or every other day. It's one of the smaller publix around but I love it. The staff is always super friendly and willing to help you if you need anything. They are also willing to order an item that you need if you don't see it in the store. The sushi is really good there and it's reasonable priced compared to other bigger publix. There hot items are good too which usually include mojo pork, delicious mac n cheese, chicken fingers and more. They make different kinds of Rotisserie chicken. My favorite one is the lemon pepper. Deli meat is good especially the boars head. You can order online if you want a sub and pick it right up at the sub counter. They usually always have it there waiting for you at the expected time it tells you. This is my neighborhood publix and I love it! read more

I've had co-workers rave about Publix subs so I ventured to Publix for a chicken tender sub. I saw an Atlanta falcon's sub online and hoped they had some sort of semblance but they didn't so I settled for a regular chicken tender sub. To my dismay they shredded the tenders and the meat was super dry. I asked for mayo and it was not enough. However, for the $10 price tag of a foot long it was a lot of food. But you're better off getting a lb of deli meat from Penn Dutch for $10 and free hoagies. read more

I have never seen people move so slow. Zero customer service in the dozen times I've been here. Never timely with online orders. They don't even check when orders come in. Case in point- waited 10 mins, finally said something and the lady looked at me like I was crazy while she pulls another 8 order tickets out. Proceeds to take another 7 mins to start. The parking here is a little tight and smaller than most. As I walked in, I noticed this publix is about half the size of a regular one. Although it's smaller, they still do have a deli area that sells hot foods and subs. The staff was friendly here. There were a lot of older employees that were really helpful. The best thing about this publix is the location of it. It's conveniently located next to a friends place in Palm aire which allowed me to get the snacks and food i needed without driving too far. I'll most likely return in the future as I've had no problems with my visit. read more

I am writing this review after my 5th visit to this location. To be honest this Publix location has the worst customer service, just awful man. I really tried to give this location a chance but I just can't get over the fact that none of their staffs greets you or ask you if you need help. Today was my Fifth and last visit. But to be fair Ella the cashier said hi while I loaded the conveyor belt lol. And that was the first time a staff ever acknowledged me. I literally would go out of my way just to shop at Publix because of their amazing customer service. But this location here.... Needs a little more training. Main complaint is that there is a cashier who hands your bagged groceries to you over the counter, but twice has not handed me the last bag, so watch out for this/her. Consistently the worst Publix I've ever been to in Florida. My partner and I go out of our way to avoid this place because of the staff. They're always miserable here. Everyone is miserable to be to work. Even the management. Just my luck because it's the closest one and my pregnant gf needed some stuff, I came and I got the please of dealing with Quincy. He says he's a customer service manager or something, I grabbed 3 simply juices that were on sale and one of them weren't included in the sale. I mentioned the sign in front of the juice says it was on sale. He makes the young lady put my items on hold to go to the back to check. Comes back and says it wasn't. I said okay do I need to exchange it he says yes. I now go back to change it out and let him know that the mistake was made bc the sign is directly in front of the juice. He then tells me no it's not. This clearly triggers me bc it was both times I went to the section. I walk him back to the area and just like I said, the incorrect drink was moved in front of the sign. He the himself moves it over so the spot where the sale is listed is empty. As we're standing there his employees moves the drink back in front of the sign. I never raised my voice and or disrespected this guy. In previous scenarios I've had this order given to me for free which I'm aware of can be done bc didn't even want that. I make more than enough money to pay for anything in this store. It was the principal of him wasting my time and not having proper customer service skills. Having been in management for over 15 years I hope some type of review or training takes place as a result of this. read more

My question is why Publix sell this salad? it was all mold and wet inside. Everything about this store is great but I had a bad run in with a nasty cashier. She was waiting on a customer and chatting and there's no one in her line I walked up put a basket of stuff on the conveyor belt and after a few seconds she turned to me and said oh I'm closed! I said well I'm sorry I didn't notice your light off she says well I'm closed and just snapped away so I put everything back into my basket and walked away. I was waiting up front for my friend to come through a line same time she had gone to ask about a break while I was standing there and the manager said "no it was too busy" so she walked back flipped on her light and checked my friend out. I personally love this little publix. I have been shopping here in 2006 and by now everyone in there pretty much knows me. Yes this publix is tiny however I have always had great service especially if I am looking for something they don't carry. The offer online ordering for the deli which I have used for both deli selections and subs. I also frequent the bakery which had my favorite thing in the world; cupcakes. Every time I need a treat or pick me up you will find me at publix getting a yummy sweet treat. I have also had employees go out of their way to help me (one especially when I was on crutches). In the past I have actually written to the publix corporate office to commend this location. A quick note: during the winter this place gets jam packed in the evenings. read more

Every time I order online, the order is never ready when I get there at the time it says it will be ready. This Publix is located right near where I work, so I come relatively often to pick up something for lunch. This Publix is very small, and the setup is a little strange compared to what I'm used to, but I think they recognize that many people use this store for the purpose I do, as their grab and go section is easily accessible with many ready made sandwich, wrap, and salad options. They also have sushi, a definite plus for such a small store, and great for my grab and go lunches. The sushi staff has always been accommodating if I don't see what I want already made. This past weekend this Publix location really impressed me. My boyfriend needed a sub platter for a pot luck he was attending, and in typical man fashion forgot to order 24 hours in advance as required for platters per the website. We decided to get around this rule by just ordering five subs that we could cut up and assemble our own platter with. I was a little apprehensive using the online ordering system, I've had major problems at other locations, but this Publix has always had any of my custom order subs or wraps ready on time for my lunch break, so I figured if any Publix could do it this one could. He placed the order for five subs to pick up in an hour. To my relief and happiness when we arrived for pickup all five subs were waiting. We took them home and assembled a platter by cutting them into quarters...a platter to feed 20 for a little over $30...this may be the way to go even if you don't forget to order ahead. This Publix is farther from my house than two or three others, but I trust them the most with the online ordering deli system. A word of warning though, it is located inside Palm Aire, a community housing many of the older generation. Most of the time they're sweet shoppers, if not a little slow, but I have seen a few parking lot incidents, usually over a handicap space....stay out of the way there. read more
