    Deli for subs!
    Elizabeth O.

It's a smaller location, however it has the main essentials. Store is always clean, staff are always friendly. Parking during peak hours can be tricky. Items are pretty well stocked, I find just about all I come here to look for , however, it really is a very small location , so outside of main essentials - it may be better checking out another location. Special shout out to Chris in the deli- he is always friendly and helpful, and always with a smile!

I had been running errands all day and I decided to stop at this Publix, since I was in the Pompano Beach area. I liked the store, it was very clean and very well organized, like most Publix stores. I talked to one of the workers about the weekly specials and he was very helpful and pleasant. People that work at Publix usually are very good about stopping what they do and spending time answering questions. Good place to shop.

Located in the vicinity of Palm Aire; where there are numerous apartments/condos, townhouses, a country club, and a resort, this Publix is very nice and clean with organized aisles. Same as every other Publix supermarket when it comes to various departments, products, and price. Satisfactory customer service. It was an enjoyable experience shopping here.

I have high standards for Publix and I think they have high standards for their employees which is why I was so shocked with the way I was treated today August 28th at approximately 10:20am. I was craving a Publix sub like we all do sometimes. The menu had changed so I had to ask if they still had the Italian. The lady working at the counter said we sure do. I ordered a foot long Publix(not boars head) sub. She did a quick check and said "we don't have Publix meat." she didn't offer to cut more meat. it felt like I had no choice but to order the more expensive sandwich, so I ordered the boars head. I was half expecting her to sell it to me for the lower Publix meat price. While she was making my sandwich, the knife fell on the floor. She picked up the knife, RINSED it off and continued to make and cut my food. I got a contaminated more expensive sub. Yes, I understand Boars Head is not that much more expensive but, I can't taste the difference so why pay it? I know, I know I should have refused that sandwich but, I was in shock and it took some time to sink in.

I'm really glad this Publix is so close to my job. It saves me a lot of time and helps me keep up with a healthy diet. Publix has everything you need; a deli for subs, cheese and olive bar, bakery, fresh sushi rolls daily. They also have rotisserie chicken and other cooked food options. I could be wrong about this, but the food at this location seems to be cheaper than the Publix closer to my house. I have to give credit to the staff here on how clean and organized they keep the store. The floors are always shined clean and nothing on the shelves are misplaced. The Salads are always fresh ; I usually get the Southern Cobb Salad with a Quarter of rotisserie chicken. I like how the staff informs me if there is a sale on a particular salad or sub that day, too! I will keep using this location for my go to lunch spot 5Stars!

10/07/2020 My wife and I really enjoy this Publix location. It is a very friendly group of hard working employees. The Store Manager, Susan Mullan, sets a very professional tone and she makes sure that everything runs smoothly. During the initial shutdown from the Pandemic, she took charge. Set up protocols for safe distancing, plexiglass dividers at checkout, masks, and sanitizing wipes and gels, etc. Supreme thanks to staff for incurring risk and long hours, in helping folks to put food on the table. Your drivers are the best and all of you are the backbone of our community. You were out there for us during these trying and stressful times and we greatly appreciated your courage and compassion. When we enter the Store, Patricia is hard at work, sanitizing the carts and getting them lined up. She is very congenial and has a nice smile. We make our way to the Deli Section where we find Brian, the Manager, always hard at work. He is a great guy and always very amiable. The staff, in this section, is terrific. They work well together and and are always courteous with the customers. They include Andre, Bill, Tanya, Mona, Zofia, Rosena, Karen, and many others. While passing by the Meat Section, we see John is hard at work cutting the meats and preparing to wrap them. He is always very helpful. Isabel is always working hard, keeping the floors clean as a whistle. Our favorite Isle Grocery Replentishment Specialist, Anne, is constantly keeping the shelves neatly stocked. She is always so very helpful. Upon checkout, we usually see Rudy and Jack, working along with Quinn and Glenn. A great group, along with the other wonderful Cashiers we have encountered over the years. So, many, many, thanks for always providing a wonderful shopping experience for us. At times, we have spoken to your excellent pharmacy personnel, and they were only too happy to answer our questions. They are real Pros. Any shopper looking for a super Grocery Store and Pharmacy, stop in and meet the helpful and dedicated folks at the Publix at Palm Aire. You will be glad you did. They have our utmost respect. Here are a few photos!

Definitely go here instead of Walmart and Winn Dixie. Cleaner, more options, nicer part of town.

They always encouraged me to come back, and I did. Quality is OK day-of. Most of it needs to be eaten quickly. For instance their watermelon or mangoes wont be good after a week. That's fine but $5.99/small melon or $1/mango are almost as bad as publix. Not quite but almost. Where's the deals? If its expensive, Where's the high quality? I respect their game and wish them luck but sadly its a closed chapter for me. Its not that im not going to return out of spite, but I wont be returning simply because there's no point to. Theres no deals or anything amazing anymore. Best of luck

More like a 2.5 today. It's sad because I really liked shopping here…read more I don't know what happened to the store. They used to have beautiful fresh fruits and vegetables, a nice freezer section. I even bought a tomato tree here once. I don't come often since it's not close, but every once in a while when I'm going to Costco, I'll just drive down a little bit further and stop in and pick up some things. I was so disappointed today. They've gotten rid of 99% of freezer section and they have the old cases for sale, so that's the end of that. Today they had long tables of garbage thrown on top and I'm not quite sure what it was, but people were digging through like it was some flea market garage sale. The entire store has changed and in my opinion not for the better. I was able to pick up a couple of avocados at 3 for a $1, a bag of potatoes so I can make mashed potatoes for Thanksgiving, some tomatoes, and that's about it. I did notice that they had a table full of hot pickle tomatoes that expired 9/20/2025 so that did it for me. I don't understand why you would put out food no matter what price it is, after the expiration date. The other thing that bothered me was the 4% fee for credit card. I know as a fact, if you have the right credit card processing you pay 1.9%. They also had a tip jar at the check out...for what... so the salaried employee can slide your purchases across a scanner and you can put the items in the bags you bring. No one packs your bags here and they don't even have plastic or paper bags. With all the fees, the prices aren't any less than TJs or Aldi. I know now, I don't ever have to drive down here again.

Not only are the quality and freshness great, but the prices are also reasonable. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to find those items on sale. At times, I would walk throughout the store and discover interesting items to enhance meals at home, such as making an oven fried fish filet sandwich with artisan bread, remoulade sauce, and salad greens. At other times, I would grab bottles of water priced at $0.79 or a small bottle of milk to make oatmeal. Over the past year, my perception of Whole Foods has changed ever since I started making more conscious decisions about what I eat.

Huge store, fabulous variety of fresh fruit on the salad bar and of course I love the purple cabbage, cubed celery chunks, snow peas, etc.... They even sometimes have the heated enchiladas - tofu scramble spicy with veggies - and half off occasionally - always a TREAT! The bathrooms being renovated was a MESS - one UNISEX bathroom for Men & Woman - hummmm. Poor decisions that sometimes need the KINKS worked out ... it is over now though. Just the finishing touches happening. Tons of Parking, Huge Movie Theater in the same parking lot ... loads of beautiful new outside furniture and chairs to accommodate boo-koo guests. No electricity for charging though - but FREE WI-FII and Amazon of course for Pick-up or drop-off. Whole Foods was always for THE COMMUNITY - but that has changed over time with different ownership & management brings NEW IDEAS and ways to SAVE MONEY. This is a VERY LARGE store where you can move around with your shopping cart with ease - SUCH A PLEASURE. I did purchase Chef Christy's I-MLEAN LLC Raw Vegan Bakery Products here as well when they were keeping them in the refrigerated area. Why they changed that I do not know. One day I finally brought it to Mark's Attn (the manager) that all product seemed to disappear off the shelves - see the pictures uploaded, the only product left was CINNAMAN ROLLS one day, still unrefrigerated. I explained what I witnessed that week and told him they need to be refrigerated. He is the one who told me 100 days FROZEN and 45 days REFRIGERATED - I realized he told me the wrong thing - I could not read the TINY PRINT without my glasses. I would eat lunch or dinner there often - I had no kitchen nor refrigerator, etc... and I needed to eat healthy for my Diabetes. They were very kind here - Miguel was the bakery manager at the time. He told me they had problems with the VENDOR who delivered Chef Christy's I-MLEAN LLC products. Mark could not tell me who that was. I did inform them of the turn of events in Ft Lauderdale with papers I had created of the Timeline of Events. I unfortunately had a FOREIGN OBJECT in one of her items - in my mouth while eating my ORANGE TWIST - most frightening. I made sure they were aware of that.
