Shoutout to Lynn in the Deli to crafting a delightful PubSub today!! Today's special was the Boar's Head turkey sub to which I enjoy because it's like two subs for the price of one! I like their multigrain bread and always get it toasted for the extra crunch factor. I dress mine up with mayo, spicy brown mustard, cheeses like cheddar + pepper jack, spinach, banana peppers, onion, and tomatoes. I read later on a sign on the side they have other sauces like vegan varieties, horseradish, and vinaigrettes. My sis went ahead and got some bogo specials which are always fun to paw through and get a deal. Great sendoff thanks to the PubSub. Cashier Teri was fast as well. read more

This is where I used to shop when I still lived in the apartment complex next door. However, since I was in the area for something else I went in for a few things. It's pretty fair to say that they haven't really done much to it in the seven years I've lived here either. Since my list was limited, I found everything I needed to find. That's good because my dear cashier lady didn't ask if I found everything I was looking for today. Go figure... The bagger helped the lady in front of me out to her car, so Cashier Lady and I were left high and dry. Personally speaking I don't mind bagging my own stuff anyway. The way some of these people pack stuff is underwhelming to say the least. So it only took a moment for Cashier Lady (I wish U I took better note of her name) and I to perform that simple task so I could get out. That's exactly what I wanted to do anyway, as this Publix really shows its age. Honestly, most of the employees I noticed weren't the normal bunch of friendly helpful folks one usually notes "at a Publix near you." This store wasn't horribly stocked; shelves were not bare by any means (can U say WinnDixie?). There was more or less the same variety of stuff one would find in their bigger and newer stores. Finally, in the words of most Publix cashiers..."Did you find everything okay today?" I answer...uh, yeah. So far the favorite thing I found in there so far was the exit. read more

Staff are very personable, always anxious to help. When asked a question will happily take the customer to the shelf to find the product. Deli products are big and delicious. It's nice to see the popcorn is back after a long absence due to COVID-19. Store always clean and when a spill occurs is cleaned quickly. I should flip a coin when buying produce from this store. The produce department is such a great part of the store, but I keep getting old and unripe produce. This problem doesn't start at the store, this is corporate issue that's been going downhill for a long time. I can get bad produce anywhere.... Publix must not care about their customers.... I remember when they did. But now like their produce.... you never know. Today I went to buy corn on the cob... At a special price.... Old corn with the old husk peeled off so you think it's fresh... probably a week or two old. Why the hell would you have cookies and cakes in front of the pharmacy line??? It's supposed to be a place of health, not junk food! The shelf was hiding the sign telling you were to stand until called upon and people kept lining up on both sides of the rack!!! So no one knew where to stand and which line was for which and the chick behind the counter didn't know who was first! I told her it would be smart to move it so it doesn't happen again since it confused people, especially the older people, but she simply said it would be smart but their store management didn't seem to think so. I don't run errands often with my children because I suffer from auto immune disease and get flares at the most random times. I have a service dog. Upon arriving to this grocery store, employees were giving me dirty looks due to the dog (they probably assume he's not a service dog, most people don't believe me until I show them his verified paperwork.) but there was one employee who was nothing but amazing. My son fell in to a shopping cart and busted his lip open. She immediately came to help me. Got him ice, got a bandaid to help the bleeding and wasn't once weird about my service dog. She helped me through the store and everything. Her name was Teri I think. I am very grateful for this woman to help me the way she did. She didn't have to take the extra step to help me but she did. And I really needed the help. It's hard enough running errands without my husband and worrying about if I'll have a neuropathy flare etc. read more

Of course, you know Publix sponsored the insurrection on January 6. When I use my Humana food card on any product, they charge me tax where at Walmart they don't. Another great Publix rip off so low income people stay away... And when you just get the sale items, the employees look at you like you're taking money out of their pocket Now... We love this location. Just a suggestion: Over the weekend, we saw a garbage can full of carrots, lettuce leaves, etc. We asked the Produce Manager, I think, if we could take the garbage home for our compost bin (the green/nitrogen is needed). They let us take the bag home. SCORE! With so many of us having these bins (especially since City of Clearwater gives them for free).... Publix may want to consider smaller disposables for people to grab and fill our bins. Thanks, Publix! read more

The person (possibly the assistant pharmacy manager ?)who administered our shot had the best technique . Then we picked up some grocery. The cashier and staff were all friendly. I like this plaza they have almost everything. Publix is a great place to grab groceries but I tend to go to the local produce areas for cheaper items. They have really good workers and are always stocked. I have been recently been buying their fried chicken for the family to eat and also love their salads. A great way to grab some food when you're on the go and don't want to stop by a restaurant. read more

Everyone on the staff line was rude didn't even care about their job and were barely responsive. If this is how you run your department you might want to have a customer service meeting. read more

This location is definitely not a TIER I example of Publix Super Markets. Perhaps the weakest link is produce. It is not near the quality or selection found at your typical store. Although the staff will give you a smile it doesn't seem as genuine as perhaps a location running smoothly; the checkout process is deplorable. There are never enough open and it is extremely slow so be patient. This is an older location with an older model. read more

I like this Publix it is smaller than the others nearby, so you can get what you want and get out even if it is layed out mirror opposite to the one north of it and is larger. The price for nice small and organized is if you want something in particular they don't carry out while there big brother does. read more

I purchased Publix fried chicken on Monday for a quick meal. The chicken box said it contained 2 breasts, 2 thighs, 2 wings, and 2 drum sticks. When I got home and opened the box, it actually contained 4 thighs, 4 drum sticks and 1 wing. No one liked thighs and a drum stick entrée was grossly inadequate. On Tuesday I went to the Publix customer service to complain because I felt their deli department filled the box with whatever they had available and did not modify the label to reflect what was actually in the box. Customer Service did not apologize for their error. The lady said she would contact the deli department to give me the chicken pieces that were missing. Obviously a day late. read more

The employees here are top notch from the minute you enter until you leave. The store is brightly lite and clean. The deli service while a bit slow (used to NY deli's) is efficient. In all it's a unique thing for me to not hate shopping the 1 problem I have is the Publix app. The shopping list seems to be off at least 1 aisle or completely wrong. And the categories are messed up. What I'm trying to say is that if you use the shopping list on the app you wind up taking 3times more shopping. I wish Publix would have held off on the app until it was right. In the grand scheme of things not a major problem just an annoyance read more

One of the worst Publix I have been to. The staff is mostly borderline rude, I shop around 8:00 a.m. and can never find good produce and the meat selection is slim that early. If you are going to open at 7:00 have your product out and replace the old produce. I bought chops three days before the use by date, which I planned to cook the next day they were slimy and smelly and without proof of purchase, I was not able to exchange them. I wish Publix had some completion. I no longer shop at this Publix I go out of my way to shop elsewhere. We need a Kroger's or other nice store in this area. This particular Publix is pretty average. Of course I plan on attending this Publix for the foreseeable future, walking into any other Publix just wouldn't feel right because it's not MY Publix. This Publix certainly isn't the largest one and it isn't the smallest either, it's just average. This location has also been around for as long as I can remember but they have remodeled some parts and cleaned everything up. The store is really clean and the recent addition of a pharmacy is really helpful. All the employees are usually really nice and helpful and will more than likely go out of their way to make sure you get what you need and leave happy. The deli seems a little small compared to some of the other locations but still meets my needs. You obviously can't go into Publix without getting a Publix Sub... The parking lot can be a little rough at times and this store is always really busy ever since they closed the location at Sunset and US 19. Overall it's just your typical Publix. read more
