My passion project these days is finding the best grocery store rotisserie chicken on this beautiful little pale blue dot, and the most requested bird after Costco is the Publix Mojo. My comments have been a BLOODBATH with people requesting I try the Publix Mojo tissi. I made enough money off the tiktok creator fund to afford a flight to Tampa and back, so I thought I should reinvest it in my own business. I got off the plane and called an Uber straight to Publix. I got there and they only had 1 Mojo flavored tissi left. I felt like that was God winking at me, saving this bird just for me and rewarding my hard work. When you work hard, he throws you a bone sometimes. I got the bird and took it down to the water, and began tearing into it. On the first bite of the breast, I completely understood the hype. Tender, flavorful, great skin, etc. The leg followed suit, and this was truly an elite bird. I sat there in the Florida sun, seagulls circling me like vultures, appreciating life and the calm Tampa energy. It was a beautiful little moment, idk. I love Tampa. This is my go to stop when I need something in a jiffy. Super easy to get in and out of this location. The store is well organized and I actually met the manager who is super kind and helpful. The store is very clean and has a great selection, including my favorite Soup made in Tarpon Springs. Greek lemon chicken soup with orzo. Hard to find anywhere else. Plenty of free parking out front and easily accessible restrooms. Not to mention every time I walk out of the store I see the most beautiful sunsets in the parking lot! read more

We were on Island Estates and decided to stop by the Publix. This Publix is rather unique in that it's located on the second floor of a strip center/parking garage. You have the choice of either taking the stairs or going inside the lobby and taking the elevator. We chose the elevator. The store itself isn't as big as most Publix stores but it had all of the same departments. The meat and seafood departments as well as the bakery were there but just had a smaller presence. The store was clean and well organized. I can definitely recommend this location. If there's ever a flood or hurricane, this Publix will be above the high water mark, for sure! read more

Located in Island Estates near the Beach. A little bit of a Tropical feel and vibe as you role upon this Publix which I loved. The addition of a covered garage for parking in the rain is an awesome feature I wished all grocery stores had. Once you enter the main doors you will come upon an elevator which will take you to the second level where the grocery store is, this was reminiscent of some of the Whole Foods I've been inside in large cities. The store is smaller and may not have as large of an inventory or some of the items you are looking for but overall I felt their selection was awesome. I love the vibe and feel of this location and the employees are very helpful. I did run in to one rather unpleasant cashier but I'm not going to fault the store for one person. Excellent new store. Great selection and prices aren't as inflated as I thought they would be as it was close to the tourist area. As you take the Hwy. 60 Causeway toward Clearwater Beach, this is one of the last rights on Island Way (about 1 mile from the circle). Just be cautious not to miss this right turn. read more

went in to redeem my lottery, and as i said what i had won the lady carol was like not till i see ID in a very rude tone and then said you aren't 18 as she was looking at it and didn't even scan my ID which would of ended the problem and then as i left she gave me a dirty look. Everyone else was very friendly though.I work in costumers service and if i was ever this rude to someone my employer would be very embarrassed by me. read more

This Publix is a little unusual because you have to take an elevator to access it. Nice well stocked deli, bright, clean with helpful employees. We rented a suite at the Opal Sands resort with a full kitchen so we went to Publix to stock up on food. If you're staying at Clearwater Beach and need food supplies I highly recommend this Publix location. The seafood was fresh and well presented. read more

Not my go-to Publix because there's several closer to home, but one I still frequent often. My boyfriend works at CMA & we'll occasionally meet at this Publix for sushi on Wednesday or Pub subs together, or at least we did before all this craziness. This is definitely a smaller store, but the convenient parking garage and elevator to the second floor make it pleasant to shop it as long as you go in knowing you won't find the more obscure ingredients that internet recipe might be calling for. But for basics, this one always seems to have everything. Even with the craziness of the current outbreak, the staff are very nice and polite, and now constantly cleaning everything too. They're working hard to stock whatever they have available, and the staff are also being good about limiting items people can buy, like my cashier who told the man in front of me he could only take one package of toilet paper & one package of paper towels, not two of each, because of the shortages/hoarding happening. read more

My wife needed a couple of prescriptions filled, so we stopped in at the Publix closest to Clearwater Beach. The pharmacist was terrific and had her medicines ready in no time. The store is very nice, very convenient to the beach; and, easily accessible from the causeway. There is plenty of parking; and, the store is very clean and well lighted. Had we known there was a store so close to the beach, we wouldn't have stocked up our fridge with so much stuff. We could have shopped at this store on a more frequent basis. read more

Mostly you can find everything you need in here. I would think being close to the beach with lots of tourists there would be a wider selection of prepared deli items. However, that selection is very small now after the remodel. I was also very disappointed in the service at the deli counter. I wanted to get some lunch meat - specifically spend $30-$40 on Boar's Head lunch meat for the week. I waited at the counter for five minutes with no other customers around for the deli person to tell me "she" (being someone - who knows) would be with me in a few minutes. I waited 5 more minutes before I gave up. I have been told by locals that since they have a sub shop, that consumes quite a bit of time in the deli department. I didn't see any other customers, though, so that was frustrating. The prepared items and self serve deli items I did purchase were all excellent. I purchased a salmon salad, a strawberry salad, and a greek pasta salad. All of which were excellent. The store doesn't seem the new store is laid out in a logical manner. The wine and beer is located on the same aisle as the dairy products, which makes it difficult to peruse either side as these are popular aisle. In my opinion, the beer and wine should be moved to the aisle with the paper products or personal care items, since it is less traveled. I was concerned about the time and efficiency it would be with the elevators but those concerns were quickly alleviated by the quickness of the elevators. It doesn't really cause any delay in time. The parking garage would be nice to use on rainy days. Luckily, we didn't encounter any rainy days during our trip. We visited 3-4 times during our almost two week stay and every time the cashiers and baggers were excellent and very friendly. The only reason this store gets 4 stars is due to the deli department and low amount of fresh deli items. read more

The Publix staff here in Clearwater Beach was extremely friendly and helpful, from the deli, the manager, the gentleman peddling granola bar samples, to the checkout line. Very clean and well stocked for those vacationers in town. Well done Publix team! read more

Since this 'island' is on the way to the beach, the only other option is to get in the middle of heavy traffic to get to the Ft Harrison Publix. If you live on the island, this is a fantastic location. Without getting in traffic, this location is possibly the single best idea of city planning for the entire island. The Publix real estate person who picked it should be given a raise! They have a lot of local island foot traffic in here, yet the shelves are constantly being restocked. They offer a great selection for a smaller sized store; domestic and import beer and wine, a great selection of ice cream and fro yo, a great variety of fresh produce, a wide selection of deli meats, and they offer the same great baked goods we come to expect from the larger Publix locations. (They even carry the holiday items like Easter Bread!!! Soo good!) It is a true testament to "corporate" to train and hire great people and maintain a great manager at this location! Everyone is helpful, friendly, and knows the store and the inventory. Publix - thank you for keeping the standards high, the cleanliness consistent, the customer service skills at a high level, and a constant eye to detail and great produce! read more

We appreciate the hardworking and kind staff in Publix, especially during the virus situation. They have been extra amazing! I have a suggestion for Publix... The extra displays in the isle makes navigating more challenging when trying to keep your distance from other customers. Since many of the shelves are empty, perhaps the items can be moved out of the isles and onto the shelves, at least for now. This concern is especially important in the smaller stores that have narrower isles. Thank you! read more

Always a fan of Publix but one of their employees at this location in particular was genuinely so thoughtful and kind to to me that I wanted to thank her. She forgot to put cucumbers on my wrap (I didn't notice) and when I walked by her station later she waved me down and insisted she give me a little bag of cucumbers. As always, I love Publix. I wish I would have gotten her name but I was just too shocked by how considerate she was. Very cool. read more

.I have to say I love Publix, especially MY neighborhood Caledesi store! The people are friendly, the service is always excellent and I look forward to my daily visits. I shop fresh foods so it's a daily routine. Here's some examples; I bought 9 containers of a food but wanted to serve it better. The Produce Dept took those containers, put them all in 2 deep serving dishes, and they were ready for the table! I've also requested whole wheat saltines. They always stocked them and insured a new order. I wanted a certain flavor in an already shelved energy bar. They ordered three cases for me. I bought one case, they stocked, and sold the rest. The Deli Dept always makes it a pleasure to buy the best fresh deli cuts. The Bakery makes an overwhelming tasty choices for baked goods. I've also discovered Publix brand foods are very high quality AND less expensive! Publix is always involved in the community as well. They areqa a major sponsor of the Gasparill Distance Classic as well as other events throughout the state! That combined with tastings & BOGOS make it a now brainer for my choice of grocery stores! read more

Smaller than a regular sized Publix. Staff was friendly. Store was clean. Selection on products like bread and juices are limited since sections are smaller. Isles are small and area between isles and registers small. Hard to pass people on isle. 2 or 3 people in line blocked walk ways. If you're at the beach and need to pick up a item or two, this is the store for you. If you need to buy more than a few items, this is not the store for you. read more

Nicely rebuilt store in Island Estates. This place is brand new and squeaky clean. All the sections that you'd expect in a large grocery store. Being from out of town I like their selection of craft beers like Jai Alai. You can park in the covered garage and take the elevator up or use the stairs and get some exercise. read more

This store is convenient to pick up odds and ends and ok for most things except produce. There are very few vegetables that you can hand select - most are prepackaged and not very fresh and overpriced. Every time I have stopped in at any Publix to pick up vegetables, I have left disappointed. If Sprouts and Whole Foods can offer fresh vegetables that can be hand-picked at a reasonable price, why can't Publix? read more

We stocked up on some groceries for our stay in Clearwater to keep our food expenses reasonable. The first time we went in, awesome experience. Staff was really friendly and helpful. We needed a spatula for our kitchenette at the hotel, they also carry the smaller bottles of condiments which was nice. The second time, everyone was friendly except the cashier, I think someone pissed in her morning coffee. This location doesn't have a pharmacy, but they do have a Redbox which was great. There is a CVS and WalGreens close by if you need it. Overall, it was great and just what we needed for a weeks stay. read more

We ordered our wedding cake here and it was fabulous! Designer Maryann created the exact cake in the picture I provided. It was light blue with real seashells. Shopping usually is a pleasure at Publix. They are not the closest grocery store to me, but I drive to Publix to deal with nicer employees, higher-quality meats, great selections; more organic offerings. The only thing that bugs me sometimes is at the deli dept - sometimes 6 or more people back there but only 1 waiting on customers at counter. read more

Great smaller Publix that is very clean and the employees are all very friendly. They don't jack up the prices at this location just because they are in a tourist location. They aisles are smaller and the checkout area can get very cramped during hi tourist season so expect long wait times. read more

We just bought a snow bird place in Island Way Estates so we needed to stock up on lots of items. This place is great. Coming from the North, we are not used to such friendly and helpful employees. The shelves are always stocked, kudos to management. They even want to take your groceries to your car and have a button on their shirt that says no tips.
