When outside of your neighborhood where can you get the same kind of great quality that you expect from your local grocery store? The answer is resoundingly Publix Supermarkets. Being that my friend was in Clearwater for a conference and had to run various errands we happened by this Publix because it was close to where we were located. Our visit was nothing short of awesome. Our questions and challenges were met with amiable, pleasant responses. When faced with the issue of there not being a food item in the hot food bar that my friend was looking for, her request was promptly and efficiently filled. When we dealt with Customer Service personnel they were friendly and helpful. The store itself was very clean and brightly lit. The aisles are well organized and the layout is that of what I've seen at other Publix, the standard bakery and deli section in the front right of the store, seafood in the back, etc. Being that this Publix is in a shopping strip with other stores, the parking lot is ample and spread out. I highly recommend visiting this Publix if you are in the area. Thank you again, Publix, for exceeding my expectations. read more

I was the 3rd person in line and waited no less than 40 min for a pubsub. With this being so close to the beach, they should be crankin those bad boys out like its their job. Oh wait...it is. I timed it when one of the women was just putting mayo on someones sub: 47 seconds. To spread mayonnaise. The other woman working asked 3 different people where the buffalo sauce was so that was about a 5 minute ordeal. Then it was my turn! I got an italian and it took her at least a minute to figure out how to unpackage the meat then she just started closing the sub without any toppings or cheese. I could keep going and wont even talk about the cashier situation. This is the worst publix in existence read more

Excellent Publix. Clean store, great service, and of course, the buy one get ones are always a great value. If you're shopping for a particular brand or item, and don't find it on the shelves, simply make a request, and they'll bring it in for you. I'm not aware of any other supermarket that does this. I do not shop at any other supermarket on a regular basis. Publix already has my business, and will continue to get my business. read more

Was new to this store, I walked in completely lost because it wasn't "my Publix" and I was immediately greeted by Jordan from the customer service counter. She could tell I was lost and was so sweet and friendly to me. She walked up and said "Hi there, can I help you find anything?!" With the biggest smile! She walked me to the water section and asked if there was anything else she could help me with. She made me feel so welcomed and made my shopping so quick and easy. She honestly is exactly what Publix wants their employees to be like. I hope the company appreciates her!! I will be back and this is my new Publix!! read more

The Publix Deli is a great alternative for lunch. I've always thought Publix should open a stand alone sub shop because thier subs are that good. I wanted a sub, but the line was incredibly long and it wasnt moving that fast. In fact, one of the 2 sub makers was filling a phone or Internet order, while the in store line of people waiting was 7 deep. Because of the line, I opted for a premade Cobb Salad. This was an excellent choice! The salad was fresh, no skimping on the ingredients, and it was yummy. The prices at Publix are also reasonable. I won't go as far as saying it is inexpensive, but it is certainly equivalent to or less then, what you would pay any of the sit down restaurants in the area. The staff is generally friendly here, the subs are terrific, and the price is right. If you are in the mood for something fresh for lunch and don't feel like the same old sit down restaurant or fast food, check out Publix deli. Just be sure you get there early enough to avoid the lunch rush, or order online or via telephone. read more

This Publix is the closest one to our house and we like that if we need anything it is a quick drive. This location is smaller than the others but in a way we like this as we can go in get what we need and walk out. Parking is great and plenty of it and the staff is very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that they usually only have 2 employees at checkout and the lines are usually always backed up. My wife says she never experiences this but I always get stuck 10 minutes waiting until they finally get someone to open the next lane. This location is also coupon friendly for those that use them and they are pretty good about taking Publix coupons that are recently expired read more

I have ordered from the deli online three times now and it has yet to be ready at the pick up time and in fact I have to wait in line to ask about it and they tell me it is my fault they did not see the order. So make it while I wait longer. The one lady actually yelled at me that she did not have time to fill all my orders and I informed her I ordered 1 sandwich an hour and a half ago online. This is a very clean and organized Publix location. When I went to customer service to buy a Sunpass, the clerk was extremely friendly and helped us select which Sunpass would be best for our needs and our car situation. This location had an ample wine and beer selection. In general, Publix has great prices and I am able to use coupons and Ibotta rebates at this chain. I thought the produce selection at this location was scarce, and a few of my favorite "fat-free" or "low-fat" products were not available. I will have to get used to not all of my New York products being in Florida! We will definitely return to this location because of the cleanliness of both indoors and outdoors, and the politeness of the courtesy and cashier staff. read more

Had an Ultimate sub made, however the women making my sandwich grabbed fist fulls of everything I wanted on it (a little to much of everything). When it came to asking if she could put vinegar, oil, and sub sauce on it she DRENCHED it with all three. By the time I checked out and made it to the car the packaging was soaked and the sandwich was very soggy. Lots of parking, but this location is a little bit small. So they don't have a lot of the same stock that the Publix on Belcher has. However, I have found that the staff here are very helpful and very nice. The managers will ask if you are looking for anything if they happen to be walking by you. This is a typical Publix, very clean and easy access. The Publix on Gulf to Bay is larger and has a much better selection of everything. This one is convenient enough and does for everyday shopping. It is a smaller one though and so loses on variety and selection. For that, you have to go to the Gulf-to-Bay Publix. read more
