Much like every other Publix this location has everything that you could possibly think of when it comes to shopping for food, drinks, snacks basically anything! The layout of the Publix is also very easy to navigate because it has blended into look like almost every other Publix out there making it easy for me to figure out exactly where I need to go for the products that I am looking for when I am there. They always have a variety of items and I always love to spend a few minutes just looking at each aisle because something usually catches my eye that I end up buying that I don't need because it looks good. One of the best areas in this store in my opinion is the beer and wine section because instead of me having to drive all the way out to a Total Wine & More I can drive about 3 minutes from my house and find exactly the wind that I am looking for. The prices are great and they allow for coupon stacking and using coupons on top of buy one get one free items essentially making both items free if you are couponing the right way. The staff here is also friendly and will go above and beyond if you ask them a question or if you have no idea where a product is, they will stop what they're doing and walk you over to the product you asked them to find for you. The deli and bakery are also always friendly and energetic and I usually get whatever I need in an insanely quick time. The little Seafood area is also good and the fish always tastes fresh and when it comes to the sushi they always have an insane amount of variety to choose from. This is definitely my go-to Publix when I need to go grocery shopping.

I've been coming to this Publix for years, not only for the convenience of living nearby but also because this location is always clean and on average not too hectic like other locations. I give a ton of credit to Publix for their adaptation to the pandemic. All the employees wear masks, customers are also told to wear masks, carts are wiped down and they have social distancing markers as well in the checkout lanes and regular aisles. This Publix also has a lot of space which is perfect when you're trying to complete your giant grocery list. The employees here are always extremely friendly and helpful for whatever you need. The product selection provides a vast array of items you may need. I always find what I need here. Additionally, I love the convenience of the online mobile ordering app which I use to pick up cold cuts and subs from the deli and I recently used it for a cake from their bakery. Even though Publix has higher prices compared to places like Walmart and Aldi, I find sometimes when I go for my bigger shopping trips I benefit in their many sales, bogo pricing and coupons. Overall, I love this location and I love that I can call this place "my publix".

Was trying to enjoy my valentines present when I bit into a chunk of someone's hair

Super grossed out first time at this Publix but I got these for Valentine's Day and bit into a chunk of somebody's hair, my hair is black and you can tell it was like melted into the chocolate so nasty!

I visited here impulsively due to Dorian approaching and I was searching for some extra water. Stupid right?? I rarely pass by this Publix so I kind of went a little out of my way to check it out. As expected, it was crazy busy. There were some items I also wanted to purchase that were on sale that week. I picked up minimal refrigerated items since there was no telling where or when the hurricane would hit. As you can see in the picture, there was not one load of bread. There was no water either. I went to check out. The registers were all occupied but moving quickly. Even though it was very busy, the environment was not chaotic. The cashier was not bubbly but not rude either. I'm sure everyone was exhausted. It was a good thing I was not looking to have cash back because there were signs on all the credit card machines apologizing that they were not providing that as an option. As I was making my way out, I decided to check my receipt. Good thing I did because I was overcharged for something. It was a deli salad that was BOGO and one did not come off. I try to check my receipt before leaving any Publix because it is almost a given that they rip you off. I made my way to the customer service desk and explained what happened. An employee went to investigate the situation for me. She comes back and informs me I picked up the wrong size and also brings options for me if I want to purchase the correct size. They did not have what I wanted in the sale size so I asked to return the items. I appreciated her going out of her way to help. In the meantime, the phone was ringing constantly. People were continuously calling to inquire if they were open and if they had water. They looked defeated and I felt so bad for them. They said people were being really nasty to them and I thought they were very pleasant. I will definitely shop here in the future.

I like this Publix because it is conveniently located by Dollar Tree. It is a one-stop-shop for me. I also like the Publix Liquor store right next to Publix. They carry all sorts of brands and varieties of liquor. This makes shopping for booze a snap. They often throw in a six pack of cranberry juice or soda product just to entice you to buy a certain brand of liquor. This Publix was remodeled a couple years ago or so. The layout is really great and the produce was nice and fresh today. The main pharmacist at this store provides exceptional information about medications. He takes the time to really help the customer.

Closest super market to our home, we prefer Winn-Dixie Today, 12/8/19 Went food shopping today for the week, first the turkey bacon was BOGO and the cashier noticed a packet was bad and exchanged it, then I bought skinless boneless chicken breast and again the cashier brought it to my attention it was BOGO as there was no sign and last but not least this value pack of bell peppers was rotten with mold on the inside once we cut into it

    So organized! Produce section

They certainly have lots of spirits, beers, wines, etc to choose from. It is endless! The staff here is hit and miss. Some are helpful and well, some are not. Anyway, I bought a new tequila that I was introduced to. It is one that is exclusive to ABC so that is unique. I do wish they sold more mixers, They just seem to have the usual suspects. There is a lot of parking and it is easy to find since they face Flamingo Road. They have a rewards program and it is free to sign up. I see they sometimes have good promos through the e-mails they send. I don't usually take advantage of them but it is something good to keep in mind.

This store has every merchandise rack lower than five feet so that as soon as I entered the store I could view everything easily all the way to the back. Many end displays and racks have unique items like cinnamon shots, Buzz Ballz, Twisted Shotz, and gag party gifts. After hunting for a while, I found my party offering. A nice bottle of Josh Cellars Pinot Grigio California for $11.99. The cashier was polite, asked if I have found everything then scanned my wine bottle and of course took my cash and I was off to the party.

Worst Publix in the area. The location is the most convenient for my family because it's literally…read moreright down the street but we almost always have issues so we go to the Publix on University and Peters. Each time I try and give it a second chance, something happens. Albeit they sound minor, the issues I've listed below part of the reason why you go to a Publix versus Winn-Dixie etc: 1. They have a label for 1 gallon, 1% Greenwise Milk, but they almost never have it. It seems like they buy a lot more skim and whole milk. We were told they order it but it just sells much quicker than the others. Shouldn't the buyer recognize that if a product inventory runs out quicker than another, it's likely the ordering PAR level should be increased and the others decreased? This is just one product of a few I've noticed that tend to go out of stock quickly. 2. Bakery department and staff: this is more about how they address issues and the customers. Keep in mind I'm not criticizing everyone here. I had an issue the other day about their pizza dough. They sell the pre-rolled dough which is separated with a wax paper. I purchased 2 for a "make your own pizza" night with the family. Turns out the wax paper wasn't applied correctly and ended up being a ball of dough with pieces of wax paper literally stuck into the dough. When I went to return the dough at the customer service counter, they kindly asked me to go pick out some new ones and they'd exchange it no problem. When I went back to the bakery to ask for the replacements, two bakery staff members said "if it's not in the fridge, we don't have any". I mentioned that they sometimes have given me some from the back; I got "well, I guess I have 3 more minutes on the clock so I can go see." They ended up giving me 2 replacements that were frozen and cracked into multiple pieces. The point here, even though the manager gave me a refund, there was no accountability. I could honestly care less about the $7 I spend. For me it was "as a manager, what are you doing to prevent this from happening again...cause I can't imagine this is just happening to me." 4. Another problem with the bakery was we ordered a cookie cake a few weeks in advance for my daughter...no surprise, the order wasn't completed when we went to pick it up. "We're sorry, but the orders have been backed up." Hard to swallow that when the birthday party starts in a few hours. 3. The stockman don't seem to want to interact with the customers. They aren't necessarily rude, but compared to other Publix stores, they just seem like they are avoiding interaction. 4. Deli: went back to grab a rotisserie chicken. All out but the staff member said they would be ready in about 5 min. We decided to do some quick non-essential shopping and came back 15 min later. Another staff member said just a few minute more so we waited. 25 min later...they were done. So 5 minutes turned into 40 min. On a positive note, the cashiers are very friendly and helpful. I can think of maybe 4 that standout. My wife has been refusing l go there for a while, but I keep giving it a chance because it's so convenient to our house, but the last incident with the pizza dough pushed be over the top. Publix on University and Peters will continue to be our go-to.
