Much like every other Publix this location has everything that you could possibly think of when it comes to shopping for food, drinks, snacks basically anything! The layout of the Publix is also very easy to navigate because it has blended into look like almost every other Publix out there making it easy for me to figure out exactly where I need to go for the products that I am looking for when I am there. They always have a variety of items and I always love to spend a few minutes just looking at each aisle because something usually catches my eye that I end up buying that I don't need because it looks good. One of the best areas in this store in my opinion is the beer and wine section because instead of me having to drive all the way out to a Total Wine & More I can drive about 3 minutes from my house and find exactly the wind that I am looking for. The prices are great and they allow for coupon stacking and using coupons on top of buy one get one free items essentially making both items free if you are couponing the right way. The staff here is also friendly and will go above and beyond if you ask them a question or if you have no idea where a product is, they will stop what they're doing and walk you over to the product you asked them to find for you. The deli and bakery are also always friendly and energetic and I usually get whatever I need in an insanely quick time. The little Seafood area is also good and the fish always tastes fresh and when it comes to the sushi they always have an insane amount of variety to choose from. This is definitely my go-to Publix when I need to go grocery shopping. read more

Publix always coming through with the deals! This was a last-minute stop in. I completely forgot that I had to pick up something so I called this Publix literally while heading on my way to my destination and they promised to have an order ready for me a half an hour. They did give me a bit of a lecture, but within reason because you're supposed to order items a day before lol. Thanks for the last-minute rush guys! read more

This Publix has a nice looking florist section at the front of the store. The deli section for this time of day was actually the busiest area. Clean wide aisles and managers browsing. Most of the quick grab BoGo tubs are near the front as you walk in to the store. Usually good variety and deals on nuts. read more

Located on the corner of Griffin Road and Palm/Nob Hill, this Publix is usually well stocked with friendly staff willing to help. Bakery can run out of things later in the day and sometimes do not have advertised items. Deli can get pretty busy for subs and premade meals. They have a nice sized liquor store right next door. Parking lot is usually pretty busy but it's large and there are usually spots if you are willing to walk a little. read more

This store is very clean and well maintained. Parking is ample. They have a really large wine selection. It is probably larger than other Publix stores. The deli is always very crowded. It is best to order your sub in advance. Another issue is they are often out of sale items, especially BOGOs. This even happens on Thursday, the first day of the sale. I've been coming to this Publix for years, not only for the convenience of living nearby but also because this location is always clean and on average not too hectic like other locations. I give a ton of credit to Publix for their adaptation to the pandemic. All the employees wear masks, customers are also told to wear masks, carts are wiped down and they have social distancing markers as well in the checkout lanes and regular aisles. This Publix also has a lot of space which is perfect when you're trying to complete your giant grocery list. The employees here are always extremely friendly and helpful for whatever you need. The product selection provides a vast array of items you may need. I always find what I need here. Additionally, I love the convenience of the online mobile ordering app which I use to pick up cold cuts and subs from the deli and I recently used it for a cake from their bakery. Even though Publix has higher prices compared to places like Walmart and Aldi, I find sometimes when I go for my bigger shopping trips I benefit in their many sales, bogo pricing and coupons. Overall, I love this location and I love that I can call this place "my publix". read more

I visited here impulsively due to Dorian approaching and I was searching for some extra water. Stupid right?? I rarely pass by this Publix so I kind of went a little out of my way to check it out. As expected, it was crazy busy. There were some items I also wanted to purchase that were on sale that week. I picked up minimal refrigerated items since there was no telling where or when the hurricane would hit. As you can see in the picture, there was not one load of bread. There was no water either. I went to check out. The registers were all occupied but moving quickly. Even though it was very busy, the environment was not chaotic. The cashier was not bubbly but not rude either. I'm sure everyone was exhausted. It was a good thing I was not looking to have cash back because there were signs on all the credit card machines apologizing that they were not providing that as an option. As I was making my way out, I decided to check my receipt. Good thing I did because I was overcharged for something. It was a deli salad that was BOGO and one did not come off. I try to check my receipt before leaving any Publix because it is almost a given that they rip you off. I made my way to the customer service desk and explained what happened. An employee went to investigate the situation for me. She comes back and informs me I picked up the wrong size and also brings options for me if I want to purchase the correct size. They did not have what I wanted in the sale size so I asked to return the items. I appreciated her going out of her way to help. In the meantime, the phone was ringing constantly. People were continuously calling to inquire if they were open and if they had water. They looked defeated and I felt so bad for them. They said people were being really nasty to them and I thought they were very pleasant. I will definitely shop here in the future. read more

I like this Publix because it is conveniently located by Dollar Tree. It is a one-stop-shop for me. I also like the Publix Liquor store right next to Publix. They carry all sorts of brands and varieties of liquor. This makes shopping for booze a snap. They often throw in a six pack of cranberry juice or soda product just to entice you to buy a certain brand of liquor. This Publix was remodeled a couple years ago or so. The layout is really great and the produce was nice and fresh today. The main pharmacist at this store provides exceptional information about medications. He takes the time to really help the customer. read more

This location isn't all modern and flashy but I kind of like going in a supermarket that isn't too crowded and you can find everything you want quickly. Parking here isn't too bad. I can usually get a space right away. I'm a firm believer in park far and walk anyway The cashiers call locals by name and have a great relationship with their customers. Every employee is helpful no matter what the question is. On a recent visit I was looking for pancetta and there wasn't any more left on the shelf. The deli manager didn't make me wait in line and cut me a half pound wedge. Sometimes it's the little things that count the most. This Publix pays attention to the needs of its customers and it shows. I will be back even though it's not that close to home. read more

I shopped at the Publix on Sheridan Street and Pine Island the other day. I have always found Publix employees to be extremely helpful, but a gentleman named George went out of his way to make me feel better. I had tears in my eyes as I do often, because I lost my husband and had to move back from the mountains of NC to Florida to be with family. I was noticeably looking for my car. He stopped me and asked me what it looked like. He jogged around the lot looking while he told me to wait.said......he looked for it and we found it. He then re wrapped my soup as he thought it might spill and had such great words of encouragement for me. I really needed George that day. Out of all the locations, this is the best one overall. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh and well stocked, the deli is amazing and their service and attention to detail is excellent, all the aisles are organized, clean and stocked, and the pharmacy is phenomenal. The only observation I have is when you check out, there is never enough cashiers open and/or not enough staff bagging your groceries. The other observation is that some cashiers are phony and insincere while others are genuine, friendly, and kind and you can tell the difference. Also, depending who is on call that day, I've noticed both the customer service department and some store managers see this happening and yet don't call for all hands on deck when the store gets busy. If someone is checking out and you see them bagging their own groceries, please send someone to help and don't just stand there staring because it takes away from the "shopping is a pleasure" experience. read more

OK, I shop at Publix again, there, I admitted it! I stopped shopping at Publix when I started eating organic and I became a Whole Foods snob. I live right near this relatively new Publix, so on some occasions when I need something quick, I run over and get it, especially booze...lol. I began to notice the few times I went, how well organized and clean the store was, except for the restroom (YUK). The staff at this location is also very friendly. Some of my Whole Foods staples I can find at this Publix, which is a good time saver for me. Some items Publix is higher priced and others WF is higher priced, so you have to know your prices to see where you are getting the best deal. This location has a separate attached liquor store that is really great. They have an excellent selection and are very helpful. If this is your "hood", this should be your store! read more

I was shopping at this store again with my adult daughter who has Autism. The cashier, Alyssa, was ringing sale stuff full price and when I asked her about my digital coupons she said that comes off after you pay the total. I told her that's what I did last week with her and it didn't work so I had to go to Customer Service to get my coupon off my total. It was a hassle but I thought i would give her another chance. She seemed bothered to help me Access my digital coupons. So I asked for a Manager. My autistic daughter said to me "she isn't being friendly" to which Alyssa kept badgering her with questions which in turn frustrated my Autistic daughter. I will not shop here ever again! Because of how rudely my daughter & I were treated! I usually spend $200 a week here but this was the final straw! Publix is not a pleasure to shop at anymore! I would like a Supervisor to contact me if they want my business. We deserve an apology at the very least!! And an incentive to step into Publix at all! read more

The associates are very nice and helpful. The store is nice and large with plenty of room to push your cart through the isles even on a busy packed day. Only wish they would carry more of the items that are advertised on sale. Doesn't seem to matter what day or time of the week I go they are always out of stock or have limited stock of the advertised sale items. The customer service staff always writes a rain check for the items which is nice but it has gotten to the point now where I only go there for basic non-sale items. read more

Customer service of the managers, especially the older white lady is terrible. I called on the phone with something wrong that I needed to return. They weren't apologetic at all, but whatever that's okay. I go in today, and their were two managers and a customer service person at the front. When I returned what I needed to, the older manager asked me with a terrible attitude what's wrong with it? I proceeded to explain. She didn't say anything, not sorry for the inconvenience and neither did the Spanish manager. The customer service employee then said I'm sorry, and have a great day with a smile. Every time I come here the management is so terrible it's surprising because I'm used to Publix being top notch customer service.
