I could not find an item so I approached an employee L. Shawnika and asked if she knew where it may be. She responded that it would probably be in the Bakery. I responded that I had just come from there, could she please look in her phone. She responded that I should find someone else to tell me! Not only rude, but in an unpleasant manner. At check-out I told the Manager Katie about the issue and it seemed to me she could care less. Didn't even offer an apology for her disrespectful employee. Avoid this place!!! read more

Avoid the delivery and you will have a better shopping experience. While I enjoy the subs at Publix, this location struggles to provide sandwiches in a timely fashion. I have ordered subs from here a number of times and have never had them be done on time. Add 30 minutes to whatever time you were supposed to pick up your order and you may be able to get them. My last order was over 30 minutes late and they had 6 people working and it wasn't busy, they are just that slow. read more

Publix has become the leading name in the supermarket field here in the southeast. Once you experience a Publix supermarket yourself, I am confident that you will understand how Publix has become such an iconic supermarket brand and has developed such a loyal customer base down here in the southeast. Publix has created a solid reputation by offering incredible customer service, great BOGO (buy one, get one free) deals and we cannot forget their subs, which are affectionately known as "Pub Subs." Coming from New Jersey, a state known for their great subs, in a way, it hurts me to state that a supermarket has some of the best subs in the area. But it is also a 100% true statement. Publix subs are very good. My go-to sub is probably their Italian sub, which is truly a tasty offering. I also enjoy their roast beef and cheese sub. I would definitely recommend upgrading it by using Boar's Head meat. It is definitely worth the small upcharge. It is great to see Publix expanding beyond the boundaries of their home state of Florida and spreading throughout the southeast. Not only am I happy about it, but I am confident that the communities that Publix opens a location in are very grateful for a Publix opening by them. I would definitely recommend this particular Publix location or any Publix location and I give it five stars. read more

I can't say enough good stuff about Publix. That was the prices are usually higher than other grocery stores, you get a great experience when it comes to customer service. You also get freshness of delicious subs.This is the reason we came. I can't say enough about that chicken tender sub. When it is on sale, it is the best thing to have. read more

I love Publix and I've never had a bad experience until this one. First you have the workers racing the carts in the parking lot. NO ONE is wiping them down. So we had to wipe the cart down with hand sanitizer before putting our kid in it. Literally everyone working seemed to be pissed off and rude. Even if you tried talking to them they just blank stare at you. They didn't say a word to us when checking out. Not at all what I expect when going to a Publix. Very disappointing read more

If a straight couple walks up to the deli to order subs, they are helped at the same time because they are together. The same service was not offered to us today as a gay couple. We stood together in the line and my partner stood right next to me as I ordered. When the girl finished my sub she skipped my partner and helped someone else before coming back to him. I thought Publix had better training than that. Your slogan is "Where shopping is a pleasure", and that shouldn't only apply to "straight" people. I expected better and I feel uncomfortable returning to your store. read more

This place is a decent place for groceries! Overall, it was a great grocery shopping experience... they had very fresh fruit, with a wide selection. I loved their produce section the most! My only minor complaint would be where they kept some items... I feel like most grocery stores keep things similarly placed; but I was lost trying to find sunflower seeds among a few other items. Typically they're near the snacks/chips... but here... in the corner of the produce department??? Weird. Thankfully, the staff was more than willing to lead me in the right direction! read more

As a student in Riddle, this is the most convenient Publix store. However, this is not the best one to buy subs, since the subs made here are always not good enough. Sometimes they forget to put some ingredients , sometimes the oven is broken, or they just can't make it ready when you arrive in the store at the scheduled time. Always be prepared to wait extra time when you plan to pick up a subs here. read more

Here is store in bad need of an updating or major renovation. When you walk in you are hit with the stench of old groceries, like that smell from a closed butcher store. Unhappy faces wearing their Publix green. Thin selection of dairy with lots of bare spaces. Now over to the limited veggie area and the small frozen food aisle. Once you check out and you have acclimated to the odor of the store, you depart to the strong urine smell at the south exit. Makes me feel like I was shopping in a NYC parking garage. Not bad!!! The grocery store is clean and has great staff. Everyone was very friendly and they have a good small selection of beach items. We were there during Christmas and it was not that busy and so the beach items were limited. They have a great selection ofNew York Coffee which I brought back to California. Great cheese read more

This plaza has been around since the early 80's and is in desperate need of a renovation. Not to mention the constant sight of homeless and random others just lingering around. It never used to be that way. This location is quite small by todays standards and there's not really any great businesses in the plaza other then Publix, Walgreen's & Taco Bell. Businesses don't seem to last very long here anymore. Here today, gone tomorrow. Personally, I recommend you drive past this plaza. There are plenty other great Publix locations in the Daytona area. read more

Store is basically okay but seems to be declining abit in the last year or so. A lot of the newer help in the service area just don't seem to be as polite,especially when they are waiting on a customer and playing with cell phone at the same time. One older lady on register with strong accent can be extremely rude. The deli counter,even though I admit is very busy,just doesn't seem to have their act together....Plan on a long wait. All of that said generally Publix is a great store. I guess most of the short-comings fall back on the management. read more

Once again 10 min standing at deli counter, 4 people working no one helping. Nancy finally comes over and says just a minute. Goes in the back laughing with a co worker. 15 total minutes to get a turkey sandwich at 8am on a Saturday morning with no customers around. read more

The pharmacy at this locations is always behind in processing prescriptions they receive electronically and the staff is less than friendly. They act like they hate their jobs. read more

Favorite food shopping location, their deli is wonderful! I always make sure to grab their buffalo dip and some fresh meat/cheese cuts!

Overall, I'm a huge fan of Publix. The employees in the Deli, Pharmacy, and Bakery are very friendly and have always been super. I can always find someone throughout the store that is available if I ever need assistance with locating an item - not all Publix locations are the same. read more

I love Publix. This is my local store and my favorite. I know the layout and if I can't find something all I have to do is ask. Any employee will take you to the item, not just point you in the right direction like other local stores. Everyone is friendly and the store is clean and just the right size. Bigger doesn't always mean better. Their commercials are the best too and based on my experience reflect how much they care about their customers and employees. What store will help you out with your groceries, just Publix. While I don't need help, I appreciate them asking and know and see many people who really benefit from this service. read more

Great clean store, with helpful employee's. If they don't have a item go to customer service and they will do all they can to get it in for you. Should a item be on sale if it is not found out in the store say it runs out on the display a employee will be happy to go to the back and look. The fish dept. is great I miss the fun guy who use to wear the lobster hat or the fish hat. He always made me smile. The new fellow was great with cooking tips when I cooked halibut for the first time. They are always willing to help you to your car. I'd rather shop here than ever go to Walmart. Employees know the store and stock, and its placement if they don't they find someone who does know I have never had a bad experience at this store . the only time I have ever waited was at the pharmacy and that's to be expected but it is still far superior to Walgreens. The pharmacist and the techs are the best. twice catching meds that could possibly caused a serious reaction. They always ask if I have any questions and I am always shocked but pleased if I cant find a otc and they actually will walk me to where it is . I have to remind myself it isn't a dream. read more

I have a loved one in the hospital that asked for some treats. I have not eaten in 25 hours and I was starving. I got in line at the deli to get a sub. There was only two people in front of me. I waited long enough to decide a sub just wasn't going to happen but there was ready made food right there. I normally will not buy cafeteria type food but I was starving . Stood there a while longer but nobody waited on me. I left frustrated and hungry but I decided they did not deserve my business as the service as was soo slow but slow would mean someone actually waited on me. I looked at the cold sandwiches but the price is 3x the Walmart by my work so I couldn't pay that. I bought my loved ones treats they asked for and left hungry. I did notice at check out that it too was soo slow I watched three impulse buys be put back because they had time to reconsider. The people are on pleasant and the store is clean but the rate of service is not acceptable. read more

Why Have an Express Lane? Today made the third occurrence in a row where I went to check out in the 10 item express lane only to be stuck behind a "special" individual with 20+ items. The cashier didn't say a thing even though there were 4 non-express lanes open with no line. So once she found the correct EBT card "tried 3 different ones", she had the audacity to give the 3 customers she held up the stink eye. So I go to customer service and ask for a manager and this lady shows up a few minutes later. I voice my concern and that I have experienced it now 3 consecutive times, her response was sorry but our corporate policy is we can't say anything to the customer if they have to many items. When asked why then have an express lane if your not going to actually enforce what your sign says, she just gave a blank look and didn't have a response. Soooo Publix policy is to condone stupidity and the disrespecting of patrons and their time who actually read the sign and check out accordingly all so they don't have to hold someone accountable, hurt someone's feelings so they would need to provide a safe space for them or someone could complain they are being profiled for being stupid. Usually shop here. Went to the deli, asked for some chicken, was told it would be ready for me in about 7-10 minutes. Waited 15-20 minutes patiently while other people were helped, finally got acknowledged again, person went to check on my order, now I'm told they didn't even start it after I was told to wait, and the woman in the back all but refused to work on my order even then because she was "too busy"... after I waited... 20 MINUTES! Told them to just forget it. Great service, thanks for wasting my time! Don't expect quick service or some of them to even care. read more
