DO NOT. I REPEAT, DO NOT, USE THIS AUTO CENTER FOR ANYTHING UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT, UNPREPARED, AND UNRELIABLE. I am writing this as I sit here all 3 hours after MY APPOINTMENT for tire installation and my car has not been touched. After asking for the first time 2 1/2 hours after appointment my appointment time how much longer they think it will be I was informed that someone needed to go to another store to get tire weights, something that should be available at all times in a tire center. This is absolutely unprofessional, and should be unacceptable to management but they care even less than their employees. read more

Was waiting in line cashier turned off his light and announced that he was going on break despite having a line 6 people deep and refused to check anybody else out. When asked he wouldn't even call a manager to see if they could take his place. Required everybody who had been waiting in line to then go get into other lines which were all backed up into the main aisle as well. read more

I would give negative points if possible. Today, around 12:10-12:20pm, I attempted to return an item that was the clearly defective and had been a replacement for the same item returned WITH a receipt (where they have to take your ID etc). Anyway, I was told that because they didnt have anymore on the shelf, they could not return it. Then, when the barcode was found online, I was told they could not return it because it was dirty. The item doesn't work. On top of that it leaked all over my floor etc so should I claim that damage and make Walmart pay for that? All I asked was that they exchange it. The "coach", who told me it had to be cleaned to return it got extremely defensive when she was told by another associate that she was videoed in her language and responses to me. Totally inappropriate behavior when I asked for the Assistant or Store Manager and was only offered another "coach". The first coach was ride and inappropriate so why talk to another? Then when I left and said I would handle it with Walmart, Pershia laughed out loud and made derogatory comments. read more

I would give Walmart Daytona Beach, FL a big fat 0 if I could. What's wrong? 1. Parking lot too dark. No exit signs. 2. Pharmacy area entry doors are closed in the evening, making customers park really far away and then having to walk the whole store to buy an item from the pharmacy area. 3. Once you find the item (if you are lucky to find it, as it's way too disorganized and not enough employees to help out or answer customer questions), then you go to check out. What's wrong now? 4. The Express Scan and Pay Registers are now CLOSED! Why is this bad? 5. Because now you have NO option to pay and get out of the store quick and start on the long walk to your car! No; that would make too much sense in this chaotic world! Now you have to stay on line behind many other people with lots of merchandise that either they are themselves scanning (without knowing what they are doing and no employees or "associates" available to help out the customers; or there are human cashiers (what a great invention!!!) WOW!!, but there are so many people on line waiting to get checked out by a human cashier! and customers wait, wait and wait! The very few employees you see around the store are young girls with no training in customer service at all. They are always talking on their phones or playing games on them instead of "working" for their wages and don't have any accurate answers to customers questions. Having humans back as cashiers checking out customers is again the norm, and that's good as there are so many people in need of jobs, but this doesn't mean that we don't need the Express Registers open for customers checking out only a couple of items! Whoever the management is of this store is OUT TO LUNCH! OR MENTALLY CHALLENGED! THIS IS THE WORST WALMART EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD EVER! I will try NOT to ever again visit that store! By far one of the most ghetto Walmarts I've ever been to. The staff never answers the phone. There are low lifes who loiter the parking lot selling fake jewelry and stealing from customers. I dropped my glucometer somewhere on the property and no one seems to know where it is. K mean who steals from a diabetic. The staff is unhelpful and doesn't answer any phone calls. The same day delivery for groceries is a flat out LIE. I ordered groceries at 9 am this morning to be delivered by 3 pm. I cannot reach anyone in the store, NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE! I finally reached an outsource customer service in a foreign country, she barely spoke English. She tells me my order, already paid for, MIGHT be delivered tomorrow. WHAT! Then asks me if I could go pick it up! This is insane. I paid for delivery I want delivery. Last time, I went here I was double charged for something it took 4 phone calls and 0 minutes to get someone to fix it. Today there were Zero carts available at the entrance I came in and had to walk to the opposite end of the store. Not good when you are in pain. I got what I needed and that included sweet potato they are posted 88 cents a pound. After waiting in a super long line,they rang up at over a dollar a pound. I saw it fash and stopped the cashier to let her know that was wrong. I didn't think I should over pay and no one else should either. She called for management no one came. She went to another cashier who came over and voided the entire sale. She had to in bag my groceries and rescan them. This time she didn't enter the sweet potato she entered Chayote. What is that? What ever it is, it was not anywhere near .88 cents a pound. I told her no that's not it either. She showed me a picture of this thing and shrugged. I told her no. It isn't that. She stated at me. I told her take it off,I'll go somewhere else and buy it. This is ridiculous. Manager never did arrive. This was about 10 minutes of silliness. I left and as I left noticed an hour after arriving there were still no carts. Oh and by the way I was nice enough to let customer service know there were none when I walked by to get my cart up on arrival. I must have walked by 6 employees standing about talking and enjoying themselves while I shopped. I am all about liking your job but maybe someone could actually do a job, any job! I got home, now I need to have something different for dinner because part of the recipe Sweet potato did not make it home. I will get it tomorrow at a different company. I called the store and waited on hold for so long my hand fell asleep. The customer service person could not understand that the cashier was unable to ring up the potato at the correct price. So I asked for a manager. Roxanne arrives on the phone. I explained this all to her. I felt it would bee beneficial to the store to know the cashier could not fix the price or ring up the correct items d no manager came. I was wrong. Roxanne thought she should just start taking while I was talking. Now how will she know what I am saying if she too is talking??!?! Finally I managed to tell her the problem and she told me I could have, when no manager came, gone to customer service to buy my potato. Really? So after walking the entire store to find a cart, shopping for an hour and standing in a long line, to have an untrained cashier not ring up the one item, I am expected to then with all my groceries in bags, go to customer service and stand in another line to wait some more in HOPES someone there knows how to ring up an .88 cents per lb potato??? Are you kidding me? No ma'am. That's not going to happen. Roxanne, if you are reading this, the appropriate way to handle a customer complaint is to 1st Listen with out interrupting. Then apologize, and in this case, say I will check the price of the item and the computer to ensure it is fixed and we will show the cashier how to correct the price..Also apologize for no one's showing up in the first place. Don't ask your customers. No I mean Tell your customers to go stand in another line. Walmart make Billions of dollars a year, it can afford to train people especially the managers to handle a simple price error for a dang potato or 2. Wasted over 20 minutes in the sunny hot 90 plus weather waiting for my propane tank to be exchanged. Manager paged many times by employees to go to propane but found out from an employee there that the 2 managers with the keys take their meal break at the same time and that the customers suffer for it. Tamara one of the managers finally shows up with no apologies and said she had to walk from the back of the store. Stupid excuse, I can walk that in less than a minute, it was just her excuse to sit and finish her meal with another manager instead of doing her job. Ridiculous!!! This has to be the worst Walmart's in the United States, If their is a Walmart's worse then this one it would be a nightmare. I have never seen such incompetent management in a store. You wonder if the "Three Stooges" could run the store better. Many ( not all) of the workers are seriously lazy , not motivated to work and show no initiative in doing their job The deli department is always dirty , most of the workers who work there are seriously lazy I am from up north , many years ago they had two stores called " Crazy Eddies" and "Nobody Beats the Wiz" Both stores are now defunct , filed for bankruptcy This Walmart is worse then both of those stores combined. It's even worse then K-Mart which had the same issue of lazy workers and incompetent management This Wamart still suffers from not be able to keep the shelves and freezers full of food on a weekly basis. It's even worse before a hurricane where people will go in and hoard food items The store only cares about people stealing. They don't care about the customers who come in and pay for the items They make you feel like you are in a high security jail when walking in the door This is one of the few stores that I get stressed out just being in there. Bought a green dot card three weeks before Xmas put over $200 on it at money center left ten minutes later tried to set up card couldn't do it . I arrive expecting a quick pickup but it takes them over 30 minutes to bring the items out. This is after having to go in the store twice to ask for someone to actually do there job. Then when I go to buy a soda and find it's expired by over 2 years, I quote there own words "well that's not ours. It's a vendors so there's nothing we can do." It's not about the money, some could get seriously ill from drinking expired soda but they just don't care about the well-being of customers. Go to Target. Called about a battery test and replacement and was told to come on up they would help me. When I get there the first thing I was asked was if I'm here for service and I said yes he said I'm sorry I can't help you and then I said I called up here about the battery and he said sorry I still can't help you. I understand things get busy but being told to come up and then being rejected while trying to get a battery so I would make it home 500 miles away stinks Then again what can you expect from Walmart... It has to be one of the worst Walmarts ever. Even though I live nearby, 9 times out of 10, I will drive to the Port Orange store. Example: Today some folks who gathered to watch a race on TV wanted fried chicken. To save time I went to the Daytona store. While they had lots of fried chicken, it had been sitting under the warmer for 5 hours. The young man working the deli confirmed the chicken was made at 9AM and he told me it would be an hour before more chicken would be ready. Can a store even sell fried chicken that old? read more

The attitudes from the employees are horrible. They act as if you are interrupting their valuable time by having to assist you when you are forced to be the cashier. They get in your way when you are shopping and never smile or converse with you. I personally believe that being rude is one of the criteria to get hired there. The parking lot is shifty, and you don't feel safe especially at night. They lock all of the doors when the sun goes down except one entrance which makes the parking lot unsafe. I would advise not going to this Walmart and go to the Port Orange or Ormond beach one. Also avoid the Marketplace in Holly Hill very rude girl there who obviously hates people of my race. I was in the store this morning to pick up cleaning supplies. Because I only has a few things decided to go through self check. Stepped up to one of the few that had a green light and started ti scan. Was approached by an employee and questioned wht I was using that register because it wS not on. Looked up and the light wSasred. Argued with me that it had not been red. I moved to another register, scanned my items and paid by credit card. A second employee questioned if I had scanned everything. She said it showed I had only paid for one item. I showed her my receipt that proved I had paid for everything in the bag. After she checked the bag she said OK and walked away without an apology for accusing me of trying to steal. The customer service in this store has been lacking for quite some time and most of the employees seem unhappy with their jobs. I know I am just one person and will not make a difference to this store, but I have shopped at this Wal Mart since it opened, but from now on I will either drive the extra distance to another WM or pay the extra to shop at Publix where at least they know the meaning of customer service! This place should be called Dirtbalmart because the dregs of Daytona shop here. I stopped going here a few months ago because almost every time I shopped here, there would be dogs in the food area. Today, I was in a hurry and reluctantly decided to stop in. As I stepped onto the sidewalk from the parking lot, there were 2 pathetic, useless old people putting a rancid little dog into a baby carriage that they wheeled into the store. This animal was a little bigger than a guinea pig and had a sweater with "service animal" stitched onto it. It was obvious to me and a store employee that this was no service dog. Plus, it performed absolutely no service - it just got wheeled around by the owners. Last but not least, it yapped and barked the whole time it was there. I thought service animals were trained not to do that. The next time I see a dog in any Walmart (unless it's a true service animal), I will call the Volusia County Health Dept. and see if there's anything they can do about the situation. People call this place ghetto, but I think that's ridiculous. The store is always clean, well-stocked, air-conditioned, with fresh fruit, meat, and produce, and ample shopping carts. There are no panhandlers at the door, the staff is helpful, and I feel very safe walking into the store (even at 2am if I'm coming off a late shift). I have been to some BAAAD Walmarts (floor missing tiles, odd smells, doesn't carry fruit or veggies that aren't canned, lights blinking on and off, rude lazy staff etc etc). This store is nothing like that. The worst you get is long lines and waiting 5-10 minutes to check out if it's busy. I bet you anyone who bashes this store (and there are many) have never actually lived in an impoverished neighborhood or food desert and don't know how good they have it here. read more

The Ormond Beach Walmart is the worst for grocery pick up and the store Assistant Manager just does not care. I've never been a time that I haven't picked up groceries from them that they had everything that I ask for or many times that I had to sit and wait to get my groceries 45 minutes after my slot time. I can order the very next day after being told that they don't have my groceries and Wala those groceries that they didn't have all the sudden I'm able to pick up I know they get trucks every day but come on. If you had gout they would be on top of it being sure that they ordered correctly every single day this isn't the first day that they opened up their grocery pick up they can anticipate what they need like most good chain store managers do. The Walmart grocery pick up in Palm Coast Florida is hands-down the best I've never had an issue with not getting what I ordered. I've never had to wait when it was my time to pick up and the loaders are very pleasant. Unfortunately the one in Palm Coast is almost 30 miles from me so I can't go there 2 times a week like I do now. read more
