I love their fresh subs. I come here often to get them. The last two times they were so very good, better than usual. So today, we ordered them again and realized the person who has been making them must have been assigned elsewhere because mine was so awful Im pretty sure Im not going to order for a very, very long time. I went in for a sub and not only had to wait 30 minutes just to be helped but I spent $13 on something that wasn't even edible. The sub wasn't made correctly and the chicken wasn't chewable?? I have no idea what is going on with this store, but it's awful. I've recently moved to the area and this Publix is closest. I've ordered subs from them on 5 different occasions and of those five, they called 4 times to say they couldn't fulfill the order. Yesterday I tried ordering, as we didn't want to cook after the funeral. We received a phone call from the deli again saying they couldn't fulfill the order. I said that was fine just refund the account. They said no problem. Today I had to call because I didn't receive the cancelled email or the refund and the girl on the phone was just rude she said the manager has to do it, but she's on break. She said I should call back in a few hours to check on this. Why wasn't this done yesterday? Why isn't there an apology? I get times are hard right now, but they are hard on everyone. We should respect people. read more

This location is always clean and every Employee has been super friendly and helpful. If I have a question about a sale or product location, they always help me and with a smile. I always feel safe at this location too. The bakery has done an outstanding job many, many special cakes over the years. My only request would be to get more kid/driver carts. The cleanliness, bright lights, and friendly and helpful employees at the Publix branch (actually all branches) makes for a very pleasant shopping experience. So previously very frustrating experience here - so much so it's been months of boycotting this location. I had to pick up labor day supplies and this was our only option. Today, super friendly exceptional service and very pleasant exchanges with three different team members. Looks like last visit was a one off. Thanks for great service today, including the team member who helped me upload the cart onto the conveyor belt. He didn't have to he did it just because. It made me think twice about this location. This location has a great selection of products within the same family of the products for which you are shopping. There are always specials running. For example today on March 28th there was a sale on Dasani water which was a 2 for 1 Special in which you received one free case of water for the purchase of another. These are the type of specials across many product lines that Publix consistently offers. If they happen to run out of a sale item you want to go to the information desk at the front of the store.near the entrance and simply ask for a rain check and they are more than happy and very generous to write you the rain check should a sale item be out of stock. False advertising, incompetence, items not stocked and headaches. 1.We have purchased Greenwise whole chickens for years. (Usually $2.99 LB) The package says "NEVER BEEN FROZEN", why are they sometimes frozen? Last night they were frozen. Furthermore, I talked with the store manager (Robert) and Meat manager about this a few months ago and STILL frozen! I have purchased these chickens from other Publix locations and still frozen. 2. Be sure to check expiration dates on all items. Many items are past or very close to sell by or use by dates. 3.A while ago, I wanted sale price on Vinegar Cape Cod chips. None in stock. I take picture of the ad posted on rack. I show girl at customer service the photo and she gives me raincheck. I look at it and she printed the wrong item, Lay's chips. Go back to customer service desk to get correct raincheck. She was rude about having to do more work to correct her mistake. 4. Not stocked sale items are typical. 5.For those of you that do not know. Publix does guarantee ALL items. RETURN your problem items. However at this store, they sometimes make you feel like you are a nuisance to them for returning products. 6. We have been shopping at this store and other Publix's at least 2 or 3 times a week for over 20 years. I go often because the fruit and vegetables usually do not have much shelf life. 7.I have purchased turkey, roasts and other meat products and seafood that were rotten. I have brought this to Robert's attention in the past. I am scared to purchase meat or seafood from this store. Definitely will NOT be shopping as much at Publix in the future. On a good day they rock. On a bad day they totally suck. I so miss the good old days of Publix the customer was always right, I have had two very negative experiences of late. In both cases it was about products not on the shelf. Everyone knows there is no chain more expensive than Publix. The one reason we accept this, we know it will be there and at the highest quality. A Publix is a Publix. I think I've only reviewed one or two of them, despite having been to at least 20 locations. Reason being that they're all pretty similar. Layouts, prices and level of customer service is fairly consistent across the board, and we folks who live in Florida know what to expect because they've been around forever. And since they started doing subs in the early 90s, their street cred has gone up ten-fold. The only reason I'm writing a review for this location is because it is in Deltona, FL., a city I usually just see on exit signs while hauling ass up or down I-4. Searching for a third vehicle brought me here last night, and after a test drive and shooting the shit with the guy, I found myself a bit hangry. Not wanting fast food or to sit down for a long meal, I opted for a turkey & Swiss Publix sub. It was delicious, as always, and the cashier was courteous. Pretty standard Publix experience. I can only hope to never need to return to Deltona again! read more

I don't know what happen to Jennifer the manager that was there? I always a great experience everytime. Now there a new manager. But my experience with this Publix with the last 3 times I've visit has not been up to par. They don't have enough checkouts open. Everybody is 5 or 6 carts in line. I went to the deli today after ordering online it told me my order will be ready by 600pm. I ask about it and they said it would be another 20 mins. I had ice cream and ice in my cart. Needless to say I did not wait and told them to cancel the order. There was gentleman in front of me didn't get his order either. That poor girl had to tell it wasn't ready either he cancel his too.
