First timer at this CVS location. I had a sore throat and related symptoms and I wanted to receive a rapid strep test the day of. I received exceptional service from the ladies at the Minute Clinic. The RN and NP were very experienced, intelligent and personable. They were attentive and super accommodating from the second they saw me waiting in the waiting room. Despite testing negative, they took their time listening to my symptoms and I was still treated and received a prescription to help with the discomfort in my throat. Excellent care from all ends, and easy booking/ check-in process. I would highly recommend this location's Minute Clinic. read more

Very bad experience When I went to pick up my prescriptions the pharmacist tech said that the insurance didn't cover it. My insurance does cover. So i gave her the updated insurance card. She said she was going to keep my card and to come back in 20 min. When I returned she said they just closed for lunch and told me leave and come back again. I said I really need it filled and I needed to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor insisted the register was closed during lunch. I said i just want my insurance cards back and she at first argued with me and said didn't know where they were. Finally she agreed to give them back. The whole experience was bizarre as well as the behavior from both women. read more

actually told me they couldn't fill my prescription because it's a "narcotic." yeah that's the whole point of having a pharmacy someone who has a prescription from a doctor. actually eaiser to get drugs off the black market then trying to go through the proper channels. they talk down, and gaslight a person trying to get their prescription filled. actually ridiculous. read more

The Pharmacist at the CVS Pharmacy is a condescending bitch. I went there to collect a prescription for a friend of mine while they were out of town and was treated like a second class citizen and it wasn't even my prescription. At first the young lady at the pickup station was nice. After she spoke with the pharmacist (because the prescription was not quite ready) and i said i would wait. When the prescription was ready the pharmacist rudely told me that she could not fill the complete prescription because that was all she had and they were not getting any more. After getting the prescriptions in the bag with the receipt the young lady at almost threw the bag in my face and did not even try to hand it to me. If you need any advice form a pharmacist, this is not the place to go. I would not be surprised if she would intentionally give bad advice. I wasn't even my prescription. I had never been at that location before. I wouldn't be putting all this effort in this review if this was not the case. Beware. I think the staff is afraid of this person. read more

Pharmacy staff said my dog's seizure medication (a controlled substance which could only be transferred once) was in stock before I transferred over the script from another pharmacy. Went to pick up the medication only to be told it was not in stock and would not be back in stock for another 3 days. During that time my dog had 2 seizures. read more

Sitting in line for 15 minutes at the drive thru only to have them put up the lunch sign and walk away. POOR POOR customer service.

The pharmacy is almost always understaffed. Today I was on hold for 15 minutes to tell them that I no longer use the the Rx I was notified was ready. Hung up and called the front desk....she put me through and I was on hold another 5 minutes so hung up and drove to the store. Six people in line at the pharmacy and I just saw a couple of people working. I think I will take the advice of another unhappy customer and move my prescriptions to the CVS on Main and Keene.....or maybe Walgreens. read more

so we are out of state and delay getting home si short three days of meds. We have used CVS for years as we have to with our insurance. Went to CVS on Main St in Dunedin and they would only do 90 day reills on 3 of my husbands meds. Wouldn't help get glimeperide, Lisinopril, metoprolol or hctz. Why have a stinking pharmacy if they can't help and let someone go without important medications. Rude and snotty besides. Awful place to be forced to deal with. Probably their only customers are the ones forced to use them by insurance. Avoid them if you can. Their reviews are always poor. read more

On visit to Florida needed care for infected foot. Minute clinic care from NP Rachel excellent and professional. The pharmacy filled my needed meds quickly and my Illinois insurance covered it all. Pharmacy people were great. read more

Horrible staff. I witnessed a pharmacy tech yell and berate a customer for no reason. Customer appeared to ask a question on where to wait. Tech yells that they are understaffed and just go wait where I told you. Pharmacist did nothing. Poor customer was visibly upset. Why is this tech still employed. I'm switching my prescriptions to another pharmacy. This is not the first time I've seen this happen. Long wait times and rude staff in general at the pharmacy. read more

So this place is generally an alright store. But I just called into the Pharmacy department for CVS for help and some woman Courtney, who works there, answers the phone. Her tone was very negative and she just seemed overall rude.. I was simply trying to ask a simple question and I can tell she was just being very impatient person. Got there at 1:30 and sat in the window until 2:00 waiting on the staff to come back from lunch then the lady tells me the first line is for covid tests only but she would go ahead and give me my medicine THIS TIME. Well, how nice of you. I didn't see the sign and no one else was in line. She wasn't the least bit friendly. The pharmacist walked by twice and looked right at me with no smile. I've had stressful jobs but I was never unfriendly to customers. The girl then sent the medicine out and didn't say a word. I waited a minute to see if she was going to say anything and she didn't so I said "thank you". I had to move to CVS from Walgreens because of my insurance. ‍ read more

This #CVS on Main St in Dunedin has the loudest, most annoying door alarm ever! I don't know what the manager was thinking?? I've been here for an hour waiting on a prescription and it's been going off constantly - as loud as a smoke alarm! 4x every time the door opens or closes. I had a serious medical issue and went to the Medi clinic on-site. I was seen by Dr. Love. She is a RN. I have to tell you she is amazing. Is so thorough and competent. He diagnosis was expert and probably saved me from a hospital visit. During the visit she told me to cancel the prescription I was transferring from my HMO. That prescription was $400. She prescribed medication that literally saved me from a medical emergency brewing. The pharmacists were superb. They weren't even upset when I canceled the original prescription. I can't say enough about the team here. First class care. My only complaint is not being able to call back and get Dr. Love on the phone in response to her follow up. I was on hold 7 minutes before I gave up. read more

This pharmacy has the rudest and least professional individuals working I have ever encountered at a pharmacy. This review is the result of multiple interactions with them and it only seems to be getting worse. Even my insurance company has had trouble talking to them on more than one occasion - which I've never heard of before. I just tried to call to ask questions about a medication I take and the pharmacist interrupted me multiple times. I asked for him to please listen to my question and he interrupted me again. When I said that I would like if he would listen to my question he snapped at me about how he has 7 calls on hold and people in line trying to fill medications that they need asap. I don't know if it was solely because of how busy they are or compounded by the medication I was asking about (not a narcotic but a controlled medication - and I didn't even get to ask my question about an additional medication I need daily and am nearly out of) - but he was absolutely so disrespectful and rude and made it very clear that he didn't have time for my questions. It is literally your responsibility to answer questions for patients requesting information about a medication - it is not the place of even (especially) a pharmacist or its employees to decide whether my question is even worth listening to before you even have all of the information about the question being asked. They wrote me off before I even got to my question about a medication I need filled asap because they decided I wasn't worth listening to as compared to other people needing to fill medication. I am just really disappointed that anyone would treat any customer/patient that way. read more

My daughter just turned 5 and I remember coming here since I carried her around in a detachable car seat. Over the years the layout of the store has remained quite similar making it easy to find products. The staff has had little turnover relative to many of the stores I visit and the manager, Jen, is still there providing consistency in how they respond to seasonal flows of customers and long lines that are quickly addressed. I am mainly a customer due to their proximity, their customer rewards system and the quality of service I get when I am having prescriptions filled and buying other items from this convenience store/pharmacy. read more

CVS Minute Clinic provided misinformation when I recently when to the clinic for medically recommended vaccines. They told me the vaccines are NOT covered by Medicare (although they did NOT inform me these vaccines ARE covered by Medicare D). By NOT informing of this I was required to pay approximately 3 times the cost I would have been charged through Medicare D. I called to complain to CVS Minute Clinic customer service and was told it was MY fault because I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN. GREAT WAY FOR CVS MINUTE CLINIC TO TREAT OUR SENIOR CITIZENS. read more

Been getting all our family meds here for -15 yrs. Tracy is the best tech and extremely helpful, even with all the staff turnover she is still there. The new shorter hours are very inconvenient, it was better at 24 hour. read more

This is the absolute worst pharmacy in the area. The pharmacists and technicians did not fill our prescriptions after the Dr.'s office sent it two times. Our Dr. told us "you need to find a new pharmacy". Do not waste your time like they wasted ours. read more
