I am currently one of the top employees at a corporation of 15,000 people, and based on my career, I can tell you that this gentleman is truly special. ​Whether it is watching him proactively ensure every customer is cared for, or the time he stepped out into a rainstorm to help me with my broken-down vehicle in the parking lot, his actions consistently demonstrate elite-level service. This review is for pharmacy service and vaccination at this location. We filled our prescription regularly at this location. Many times, we ask the doctor to transmit or fax the prescription over to this store. It is normally ready in the same day or the next day depending on the supply. For our annual flu shots, you can walk in and fill out a form and verify your insurance. On the average, it took about 10-12 minutes. For COVID-19 vaccine, you must make the appointment online. We were very lucky and got our first dose in late January and just completed our second dose. Michael, our friendly pharmacist, explained the fine detail about COVID-19 vaccine from Moderna with booklet and CDC card. Even with waiting in the observation area for 15 minutes after vaccine shot, the whole process took about 20+ minutes. This is much easier and less stressful than the County or State COVID programs! read more

I love Publix but I want to tell you about my experience from today at the Lehigh acres FL store on homestead rd. I was in the produce area and there was a kiwi on the floor and standing nearby an employee saw it picked it up and placed it back with the others on the stand. Let me tell you this is disgusting !!!!! Not an employee with green shirts he looked like part of management or or something. He was there with his gun ordering items on shelf. I know this must happen at times with customers but I don't expect to see employee to do it. read more

Prices are exceptionally high and beyond reasonable to all means on nearly all everything....... I have gone to this Publix since it opened, as normal, but........ A friend of mine constantly told me about Winn-Dixie, and their extremely low prices over, and over, and over..... Me being head strong I finally got schooled, Winn-Dixie prices were less than 1/2 the price of Publix.... OMG!!!! Please check out the sales and adds at Winn-Dixie...... Also, the BOGO items.... WOW! My first time in a Publix was in Miami... loved it. Upon moving to LaBelle was disappointed that there wasn't one here. But when visiting my brother at the Veranda's was happy to see one almost in his front yard... A short while ago prior to heading to the beach; stopped in for some supplies. I was craving some seafood salad. Couldn't find any. So I flagged down a neatly dressed man with a name tag. Before I could ask for assistance; he asked what he could help me with. Well; he left what he was doing and personally escorted me to the seafood counter. Sadly there wasn't any seafood salad available. Well; the next thing ya know he has the counter attendant mix up a fresh batch. I happily thanked them both and enjoyed my salad as I sat on the beach. This is bc a great place to shop if your looking for something to eat snack,rotisserie,drinks and the customer serviceis just amazing but the only down side i had at this store is that i got a couple mango from the fruit/vegetable ile and the mango was rotten on the in side which was reallh unseting bc i go here all the time and this never happens but other than that i love this place read more

What can I say, I miss Publix. Is it the perfect grocery chain where I can get $30 a pound exotic deli meat and the latest trendy kombucha beer? Well, no it is not nor will it ever be but who cares. It's got all the real food one needs and a few things most places (especially where I live out West) don't even come close to having, namely good prices and an outstanding deli/bakery. That means I can get good hot food, great bread, and wonderful sandwiches all at a fair prices. For example, a sub sandwich which makes Subway look and taste like the fast food garbage that it is, is actually cheaper than a sandwich at Subway. read more

I'm a regular at this Publix. Every time that I go, my experience is positive. The staff is always asking if I need help with anything, I'm asked if I need help bringing items to car, and everything is easy to find. They usually have great deals like BOGO Bang Energy drinks and Kombucha. My favorite is their Greek yogurt BOGO which happens randomly. I'm a pub sub fan and I actually went for one yesterday - Chicken tender sub. I decided to make it a Buffalo chicken and asked the employee if they recommended anything else. They told me about the Chipotle Gouda and I was sold! Once they added that, I asked if they had any blue cheese crumbles to go with sandwich, and they did! Very generous on the blue cheese, which I thought was awesome. My lunch was everything I hoped it would be plus more, thanks to Publix! read more

Horrible customer service at this Publix. Mom was there to pick up a couple things, and the price didn't come up to what it's advertised on the sign. She the proceeded to customer service, then just to have the customer service employee to tell her that's the wrong fxxking price. First off, you don't ever use the F word on customer working at a retail, especially working at the customer service area. You might want to re train your employees! So much for "shopping is a pleasure". This person is ignorant, i don't think this's a tolerable behavior. The sign clearly said it's for that specific item, sorry if you can't read!! Very nice publix it's clean and the employees are very nice. Would give it 5 stars but when I went to use the mens bathroom an employee was taking a piss and holding his phone watching YouTube with his other hand. Then just walked out afterwards didn't even wash his hands. I hope he wasn't a cashier touching everyone's groceries. read more

I have always loved this store, BUT, during this mess with the Corona Virus, I was shocked to enter the store 3 days ago and found no sanitary wipes for the carts and such. With the unavailability of personal hand sanitizers, that is NOT a small issue. When I addressed this to an employee, I was told people had been stealing them so they cut it out. That's just stupid. They could have placed an employee there to make sure nobody took more than they needed instead. I found this to be a very unsafe situation and am now shopping at another Grocery store that DOES have sanitizing wipes as you enter. I might add, the employee also told me he thought the entire issue (the Corona Virus) was overblown. I told him he needed to stop playing video games and watch a little Network news. read more

I had driven here from Boston (not in 1 go!) and arrived early evening. My host said Publix was open till midnite. I was swanning around the aisles about 10:15 in a handicap cart when a manager came over and told me they closed at 10. (I wondered why there were no customers.) He helped me finish my shopping, getting stuff with the best sell-by, etc. As I was about to check out, he looked me in the eye and said, "I hope you'll be back!" I have, and I shall. This Publix is the WORST. It's because the employees do not care what so ever! I have never seen such terrible customer service at a Publix! The employees are slow, non-engaging and are not skilled at their jobs. Karina in the deli makes the most HORRIFIC subs you have ever seen, so beware. Everyone here is super nice and helpful! Management keeps the store well-staffed with friendly employees. I went today, a busy Saturday during the afternoon and every person I spoke with (manager working in the produce, other manager I almost bumped into, lady at the deli, lady in the bakery, cashier and bagger) they were all very kind and no one seemed annoyed when I asked where I could find an item.
