We shop at this location as an alternative to the Bellview Publix. The shelves are always neatly stocked and the frozen food section is the best. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful. The only negative is the traffic on Pine Forest Road is getting worse. The parking lot is very busy during lunch hours. Getting on Nine Mile Road can be adventurous at times. read more

Went to the deli counter and asked for Braunschweiger/Liverwurst sausage and all the clerks looked at me like I was some kink of dumb 87-year-old idiot. They did not know what I was talking about even though I used to buy the same right there previously. What a bunch of duds working there now. This publix is way better than the one at the corner at Bayou Blvd by the Hospital. This one is way way bigger, has a better wine selection, however the one on bayou blvd has a better meat selection. So we frequent both. Highly Recommend. read more

This review is specifically for this locations bakery. I put in a order for 12 Nightmare Before Christmas cupcakes, 6 in chocolate and 6 in vanilla all in buttercream. For around $15.00, I asked that they had them ready by 12:00pm on 11/24/2024. Due to a schedule change, I called on the morning of 11/24/2024 and asked if I could come pick up the cupcakes at 2pm instead, offering to pay over the phone if need be. The extremely nice baker that answered my call said there was no need to pay over the phone, that the time change was fine and she even checked on my order without me even having to ask, such lovely service. 1000% helped ease a slightly stressful situation. The cupcakes were fluffy, decadent but light at the same time. Everyone loved them. Would highly recommend this bakery for it's staff and delicious desserts. read more

After getting off of work from 5:00 this morning I came in because I have realized that I wasn't just having normal sinus problems I was having a lot of post nasal drip so my doctor recommended I get Allegra d to help with the post nasal drip I run into Publix on my way home and I look and look couldn't find it so I went to the pharmacist and ask them that they have some which the little Asian lady that was back there I don't know if she was a pharmacist or an aid, but her and some guy and I asked for the Allegra d she said that the federal government was preventing people from buying that but she could sell me their brands and I said no I don't want a generic of this .I wanted the brsnd name. Because I don't like cheap fillers that are in a lot of generics and if I'm paying $25 $30 for over the counter decongestant and allergy relief why does she care I'm paying for it and by law I am entitled to purchase despite her lies that I couldn't. I said I'm not a criminal I just wanted one box you know I'll be happy to show my ID you can run my name and the system it's no big deal, but she said NO she said oh no we can't it's against the law but I could sell you the generic and my logic is if I can buy the generic why can't I buy the name brand even though they say they're saying the fillers are not the same. A lot of generic has cheaper fillers and things that I just don't want to have to play guesswork whether it's going to help me or not but my doctor recommended that Allegra d and that's what I wanted she told me there was no way that she could sell it to me it was against the law and I said well that's fine I'm just going to go over to Walgreens she go , but Walgreens and nobody else will sell it to you either so you might as well just buy our brand our generic brand Publix brand and I said well we'll see about that and I left I was pretty upset cuz being up since 5:00 in the morning working to their standing on my feet all day I was just exhausted I didn't feel good I just wanted the product go home take a shower and get in bed so I go over to Walgreens I glance through the shelves as I'm walking back to the pharmacy and I see it sitting right up there at the top of the pharmacy behind the shelf and I said I would like a box of Allegra d and she goes okay well do you have criminal background I was like nope she goes okay well give me your ID let me put it in and how many boxes do you want and I said I just want one box she asked me did I want the 12-hour or the 24-hour give me the 24-hour and give me the one with the most in the box because this is a big pain to do so she gave it to me I gave her my military ID she put it in there gave her my address she put it in there I paid for it and left . This experience has made me realize that if Publix might have a clean store and 90% of the time friendly workers but they're so deceiving and dishonest and for somebody who charges twice as much then all the other grocery stores you could at least tell the truth and not be a liar when you work there I did lightly mention it to the manager when I walk past him and stopping but he had no care in the world he wasn't the normal person that I normally see there but I'm also going to file a complaint with a better business bureau as well as escalating this to corporate they should know that their employees are lying and deceiving potentially causing me more pain and suffering when I already didn't feel good be aware Publix pharmacy they lie and if they lie about something so simple as Allegra d what else would they lie about. read more

I hate this illness that I live with every day. But I have no choice, I cannot wish it away. I have a genetic brain disorder and sometimes it decides what's going to happen for me. This morning I fell in Publix parking lot, and I hit my head. It was very embarrassing. Because sometimes it hits when I have run out of energy. Like today I had been driving with me and my dogs for over two hours. That's a lot for me. I should have known better I admit. The Publix's folks could not have been nicer. They bought me in. And looked after me. They called my wife so that they could know what my illness does. I could not have asked for more caring and understanding than I received this morning. Thank you so much! Once my wife explained she came and got me home, it wasn't far. Again thank you sorry to say but now that we live in this are it may happen again. read more

This is my favorite grocery store for all the major reasons. However, lately there are younger cashiers and baggers who fail to value safe handling of produce. With prices so high, I'm very selective about my fresh produce and I am not happy about getting home with bruised fruit because either it was pushed abruptly by the cashier to the bagger who couldn't intercept it before hitting the counters edge, OR the bagger dropped it into the bag allowing it to hit the hard surface below. Both of these incidents have occurred recently, and I've had to mention it to each employee. While I was shopping on July 3, I heard two other shoppers complaining about the prices who stated they were going to go to the dollar store. Just saying . . . if I'm going to pay premium price for produce, I don't expect it to be damaged. read more

This is one of my favorite Publix in town! Well I love all Publix grocery stores, but this one is definitely up there. I can usually depend on this location for the items to be in stock. The customer service is great and very friendly. I have ordered catering at the deli for my baby shower (Entertainer Platter - mini croissant sandwiches with 5 variety of fillings) and everyone loved it! For those who are frugal and coupon lovers, this Publix accepts more competitor's coupon compared to the other locations. Such as Target, Everman's, Apple Market, Winn-Dixie, Family Dollar, and Dollar General. This helps so much as I get most of my grocery from Publix and the Buy One Get One deals makes it even better. Sometimes they have the $10 of $50 gas card deal when you purchase $50 of grocery! read more

Was calling to see what time the bakery closed and had a question about cupcakes, but before I could even ask my question on when and if they have the ones I'm looking for the lady rudely said "we don't do orders unless they are 24 hours in advance so no we don't have them today" but I was going to ask about regular buttercream assorted cupcakes and if they had any on hand, because sometimes they will only have chocolate or vanilla but not always both. The pharmacist was very helpful in explaining the risks and benefits to myself and my unborn child of the prescription I was being given. My medicine was ready with in 20 minutes and there was no hassle even tho I had never filled any prescription with them before. I will be using Publix for all of my pharmacy needs now. read more

This review is about the pharmacy, not the supermarket. I was always a CVS pharmacy person, until I heard such great things about Publix Pharmacy from my mother in law. Because it was at such a convenient location from my home, I figured why not try it. I really wanted to like it, but for a year and a half I put up with subpar pharmacy standards. The people have never once given me a kind greeting at pickup or drop off. I have never gotten any sort of notification when my prescription is available; I always had to call, even when I was promised I would be notified. When I call, the pharmacy techs are always short with me. The icing on the cake was my last encounter with them. I just had knee surgery and come to find out on post up day 5, I have a blood clot in my leg. The treatment is blood thinners in order to prevent the blood clot moving to the lungs. I am told to start the prescription immediately. My mother goes to pick up the prescription only to be told that the prescription was unavailable and had to be ordered and won't be there until the next afternoon, when I should be on my THIRD dose of medication. They didn't even have the decency to call and let me know, or give me the option to have it filled at another publix so that I could start my medication as directed. This was the final straw for me and I hope that they don't endanger future patients lives due to their inconsiderate and borderline unethical behavior when handling prescriptions. read more

Mr Betts I am a great fan of Publix. I just moved back to Pensacola from Tallahassee after 10 years. I shopped your store weekly when it was Albertsons. In the past three months I have spent app. $2000.00 at your store. Today I was disappointed with the product I received, and it had nothing to do with the employee who tried very hard at the custom meat counter. I requested a 3-4 pond top sirloin roast. The young lady who went to make the cut I observed is in need of some extra training in meat cutting. I'm in my 70's and cut meat in a local butcher shop in Boston while in college. She brought me out a "roast" which weighed a little over 6 pounds,I asked her to make it smaller. She took it inside and I watched as she cut vertically 2 pounds off the side, effectively making a roast into a thick steak. None of this was her fault and she was very nice as I explained the way to make a roast smaller. I will continue to shop your store and my hat is off to you and your wonderful helpful employees. Transferred from University to Pine Forest because of same reason and then the same thing at Pine Forest. We will now move all prescriptions across the street!
