Pizza is great. The crust especially. We had the loaded pizza and it was fantastic. Lots of toppings, homemade crust, good sauce. Service was friendly and quick. It's inside a bowling alley but separated by glass walls so not as noisy. Lots of TVs if you want to watch a game or something while you eat. After a long 750 mile drive we were tired and hungry for a good meal, a couple of beers, and then bed so we'd be well fed & rested for the next day's 650 mile journey back to Seattle. We were somewhat hesitant to try a small pizza joint in a bowling alley nonetheless, but what a pleasant and tasty surprise we had at Puder's Pizza. We ordered the 12" Loaded pizza along with some onion rings and both were served within 10 minutes, and piping hot. The rings were nice and crunchy, & my wife immediately started devouring them quickly. The pizza crust had perfect flavor & texture and the toppings were also nicely cooked and the flavor combination hit the mark. We finished it all and lumbered back to hotel to hit the rack and get ready for the next leg of our trek home. So the next time you're in Burley, don't hesitate to give Puder's a try. I love the energy of the environment this place gives me. The food is usually great, we did go one night when they were super busy and the pizza wasn't as tasty as normal. We were on a road trip to visit family in NW Idaho. We stopped in Burley to fuel up and let the kids stretch their legs while we grabbed a bite to-go. We found Puder's on Yelp and tried it based on reviews. So glad we got food from here instead of the chain pizza joint across the way. Cheese pizza was hot, fresh and delicious. Also had a Chicken bacon ranch sandwich that was so tasty. The wait time was not long at all and very reasonable for our order. It was perfect because our kids needed a quick break from driving. They rode their scooters around the wide open parking lot to the bowling alley. My husband says the gentleman he talked to when he got our order was friendly. We highly recommend Puder's! For being a pizza joint within a bowling alley, Puder's is pretty good, fast and good value. I was tempted by the little caesars that was close by, but I felt the yelp find would be more interesting than LC. Yes it was, the pizza has a fresh fluffy crust and the toppings were generous. The cheese a little basic and the sauce acceptable, perhaps a little salty, but brought the pizza together to be a solid meal. Ultimately, I'm glad I gave Puder's a shot, however, i feel that next time I'd order a special pizza rather than build my own. All in all a good meal and good price. read more

I was on the road and I live in a big pizza town so I'm ready for anything. There are a couple world class pizza joints on every neighborhood here so I admit to some snobbery. It's a high bar. I've been back home a while but I promised myself I'd review Puder's. I ordered a club sandwich and the biggest pizza on the menu. Too much is better than not enough. The sandwich was a masterpiece. I know, it was a sandwich but it was so obviously put together by a person with high standards that appreciates food. Sandwich perfection. Very happy, . Then I started in on the pizza. I was not initially as impressed. Of course I was lingering in post sandwich perfection exuberance so that happened. Then I had another and I began to notice the same thing. Meticulous assemblage of fresh ingredients, and in the middle of no where. All due respect, it's Burley, ID and we're talking about a lot of moving parts involved in pizza construction. I'm just sayin'. Anyway, I had another piece and I began to zero in on the sauce. So I had another piece. Very distinctive, I believe it's sun dried tomato in the sauce. So so so good. I was so hungry and tired. Yelp is great for zeroing in on these local gems. Bravissimo Mr. Puder. Well done. Much appreciated. One little bit of advice sir, your prices are low. Hotel had some coupons, which got us a Large 2-topping, cheese sticks and a pound of wings. Pizza was very good, over and above expectations, but the Wings... oh the Wings!! I'm not usually a wings fan, but these were crispy on the outside, and you have 4-5 choices of sauces (although Buffalo wasn't one of them). Headed home on the highway after a three-week road trip, we were disenchanted with the fast food choices. Our daughter was craving pizza, but we were pretty sure there wouldn't be any pizzerias close by because they usually take a little longer than people have to wait for food. So we looked a couple of miles off the highway and found Puder's. It had a pretty high score so we tried it and it was DELICIOUS! Have been in Burley for a couple weeks for work. Since I am in the office 12 hours a day I don't have the time to go seek out restaurants. I have eaten enough Mexican food and Jack in the Box for a lifetime. I had some free time so I came to Puder's due to the Yelp reviews. I have to say it was delicious! The pizza was great. Sauce had a nice tang to it, there were plenty of toppings and the cheese was good. I am more of a thin crust guy and even though this is super thick crust it is very flavorful and was crispy where it needed to be crispy. I only ordered a small today but this pizza would clearly make a good meal. I also ordered a jalapeño bacon cheeseburger. This was also good. The meat was a bit bland but wasn't super fatty. There could have been more jalepenos but they don't know I like spice. There was also plenty of chopped up bacon. The buns were grilled with butter and tasted delicious on their own. I ordered cottage fries as my side and they were great! My wife had a ham and cheese sandwich and it also was delicious. She chose Texas Cheese Fries for her side. That was the only drawback to the meal. They were not very good. Fries were too soggy and cheese over cooked. We ate the toppings off of them. Now to be fair we came between lunch and dinner so there was literally nobody else in the building so who knows if they are better when this place is jumping. As others have noted the cashier seemed bored and inattentive when we ordered. This was definitely due to it being slow time because after I chatted her up a bit she perked up and was friendly. I will come back for sure. I would recommend any pizza and/or the ham and cheese with cottage fries. I am sure the other sandwiches are just as good but haven't had them yet. The others we came with had wings and said they were delicious. One ordered a half chef salad and said it wasn't worth the price. Oh well I am not a rabbit and rarely eat salad. I order from Pudders quite often. The pizza is pretty good. It's better than the chain stuff from the hut, and worlds better than pizza that is hot and ready. The bbq chicken is probably my favorite followed closely by the Hawaiian. You really can't go wrong with any of their pizzas. read more
