Easy, no stress experience. I recently traded in my Prius Prime to take advantage of the expiring EV incentive (and before any potential tariffs), and switched to a RAV4 HEV. The plugin RAV4s were scarce at the time and none were available in New Mexico, so we called around to some dealerships in the surrounding states. The call to the dealership was great - the woman I spoke to was very friendly and down to earth, and helped me hold an incoming car while we drove up from New Mexico. Once we got there the salesman we worked with, Devon, was super professional and helpful. Him and the finance guy (sorry! I forgot his name but he was also great) took time with us to crunch numbers and we ended up getting a great payment. It's not a huge dealership but the showroom was very clean, there were plenty of places to sit, a coffee bar, clean bathrooms, etc. The entire experience was very pleasant, easy, and by far the fastest car buying experience I've ever had (test drove, numbers done, trade-in taken/assessed, paperwork signed, and car prepped in like an hour and a half). In the weeks after the dealership and our salesman checked in a few times to ask about the visit and the car, and even repaired some accidental damage caused by the dealer vanity plate at no charge (and with no fuss) 3 months after the purchase. Really good experience. In the future I would be happy to make another trip to Pueblo, next time I buy a car. read more

bought a 2023 Ford F150 april of 25. Traded a 2001 F350 with 7.3 powerstroke crew cab in perfect condition. When we started looking for a replacement I could drive without a manual transmission due to arthritis in my ankles the salesman tried to put me into a Toyota Tundra 1897 package. while we were setting in the truck before the test drive, the salesman set in the back seat and talked nonstop about the truck and all its amenities, same thing during the test drive. after the drive we explained that it was way to nice a vehicle to use as a truck and some more pressure to buy it he finally came around to showing us other trucks. while looking at the other trucks he sat in the back seat and played with his phone and didn't talk anout the vehicle at all. After deciding on the 2023 F150 crew cab we asked all the standard used car questions and to see the Carfax. Carfax came back as a rental with a minor accident report, I asked the salesman about it and he told us that it was a minor scratch but no body damage. after the deal was done and I got it home and was able to get it up on stands and look at it I found that the rear bumper had been severely damaged and had the braces literally folded flat and somewhat hammered back out only good enough to get back on the truck. looking at the rest of the truck it was very obvious that the truck had been off the road and into a very muddy ditch because the heat shields around the transmission was folded up and wrinkled and transmission mounts had huge gouges in it. I took approximately 200 pounds of dried mud out from underneath the truck (and the salesman told us the truck had been totally detailed) , after having it for a year now I find the transmission doesn't shift right, the electronics are very glitchy, I cannot get a trailer brake system on it without paying a dealership thousands to do it because of the electronic system. this is just a few of the problems I have had with it. Fast forward one year and a phone call from the salesman that did the deal and asked me how I liked the vehicle I told him everything I have had to deal with all he could say was , im sorry your having trouble with it I hope you have a great day. this is the first call I've had from him since we bought it. we bought a new 2020 4runner from this dealership and was very pleased with the way the sale went and are still very pleased with the car, that why we went back to this dealership. Made the appointment on-line. Before I could confirm the appointment, I had to choose from a list of predetermined replacement items: new wiper blades, new air filter, tire rotation, to name a few. Seriously! After I did that there was a comment section where I told them why I "really" needed the appointment. Poor customer service right from the start. The day of service the service rep. found the apt. and checked me in. I needed a new "bulb" for my daylight running lights. After more than an hour I went back to service to check on the progress. The car was in the same spot as when I arrived. (my first though, nothing had been done) No one around. Finally after about twenty minutes someone came back from lunch and tracked down the tech. who had replaced the bulb. He said I also needed a new electrical module and they didn't have one so they were waiting for another dealership to call. I choose not to wait any longer. I paid $40 for the supposed bulb replacement and left. The next morning I did get a text from the tech regarding the needed part. (glad I didn't wait at the dealership) What should have happened: when it was discovered I needed a part they didn't have, I should have been notified. I'm not happy with my visit. I was told to bring my vehicle in for a possible transmission issue, only to be told nothing was wrong and still charged a diagnostic fee. It doesn't feel right to pay for an inspection that was recommended by the dealership and confirmed no issue. Very disappointing experience. read more

I tried to set an appointment for a safety recall. I was told they did not have the part/s. I would get a call when they came in (No Call). I called back two weeks later and confirmed with the parts department they had them. Set an appointment for 9:30 my car was checked in and confirmed at 9:28. At 10:45 it was still sitting where I left it. Until I raised my voice I did not receive any attention then after the advisor went to check mystery of mysteries my car was moved am I was told it would be done in 25 minutes. read more

Did I get the car I wanted? Yes. Did they fix what they said they'd fix? No. Did it take over a month without a car? Yes. Would I ever buy another car from them, no. Bad communication, told things that I don't believe were 100% true, asked to speak to the general manager and was told 'he is rarely in the building' did he ever call? Nope. If your buying a new Toyota I would say you're probably safe. If your buying any of their used cars- I would highly reconsider. After almost two months of back and forth, they finally refunded my money and took the car back. Which I appreciated. And I think we both hope to never see each other again. read more

***OUT OF STATE BUYERS, BEWARE!!!*** Worst possible experience! I am a buyer from CA, I speak to the sales rep and ask for a video walkthrough and I specifically ask to be shown any imperfection. She sends me the video and in the video states that there are no imperfection; "the car is in awesome condition!" When my auto transporter gets there to pick up the vehicle, he takes pictures all around the car, and sends them to me. When I received these pictures I was shocked! There was clear and evident signs of a front collision!! The front grill was broken, the paint in the front was severely scratched, the bumper is loose, etc. All throughout the vehicle there are significant signs of off road use. I have been trying to speak to the general manager to discuss this situation for 2 weeks and have had no luck reaching him. Apparently he shows up for 1 hour to 1.5 hours a day. I've tried email, voicemail and calling daily and have had 0 luck! If you are an out of state buyer, please please think twice before committing to this dealership. Read more of these reviews!! With a garage full of tools... one would think they could work on things and not strip screws and bolts. Well, "Dan F., Business Owner", you have a lot to teach your employees. My husband wanted a winter driver and looked all over the state for a 4 Runner, older model, that he could drive. We ended up at your dealership and have had the worst possible experience. He found his car, drove it, put money down and off we went, back to the Springs. As soon as we got home, every light on the dash lit up. We ended up driving back and forth between Pueblo to get this fixed. THEN the car still wasn't financed after 45 days, so here we are , waiting 30 minutes so far for Brandt, who assured my husband multiple times that the financing was fine. Why are here? To get ANOTHER set of 45 day tags and sign more paperwork because your guys can't get it together. Very frustrated! The 2nd time I took my vehicle in to get serviced ... 2nd !!!! I have called and scheduled and specifically asked for my tires to be balanced and rotated.... along with oil change .... wanting to get this all done on one appt.... but who ever schedules this has failed to mention this in my appt scheduling and the person is not there to do this. I am so disappointed - I planned my entire weekend getaway on this appt today and thanks to the scheduler and miscommunication my day off time has been wasted for the 2nd time in less than three weeks! If you just accept that the sales staff is going to lie to you and the service department is going to gouge you, then this is an ok place to buy a toyota. I have bought three 4runners over the years and they are great cars, but the experience is always the same. They'll tell you the vehicle is in "Absolutely perfect condition," then on your first service visit, there is a laundry list of things that need replaced. This, for me, has included a battery (said was new), spark plugs, said were just changed, diff. flush ($300), axle bearing (almost $600). CV boot, etc. The last 4runner didn't have the keyless remote but they said they would "give" me one - fast forward two weeks and they say I can buy one for appx. $100. I had to get one on amazon for $15 and programmed it myself. Finally I had a coupon for an oil change that they tell you must be presented before the service, then when they ring you up it's either no discount given or shop charge negates the discount. This has happened with every coupon I ever used. They do have a decent selection but don't think you're not just dollar signs to them. read more

Brought my car in for service after died while running and sitting in idle. Had problems starting and had to jump it off. I assumed it was just an alternator or battery issue. I knew the air sensor was bad. The car was 2002 rav 4. The engine ran fine it wasnt going to win any races but it ran smoothly just didnt have much pull up hills. I was told I needed a new engine and air sensor. Which was a bit weird and really expensive. 6200 for both. I asked the service manager jeff is their anything else wrong that we should ve conserned about. If so I was going to trade the vehicle in and not dump money in it. He said no that if we fix that it should run fine. After around a month of waiting it was all done, I thought. Then I get a call your alternator is bad. This made me upset because that is what was wrong from the begining. I didnt need a new motor or air sensor. I could have got the car back under a 1000 dollars in repair. After Jeff hung up on me while explaining I needed to spend another 700 dollars. I called the manager and hebsaid they would put it in for costs. So I did that after spending 6 grand just wanted my car to work. I get the car back and within 2 miles before getting back on the interstate all my brake lights come on and service engine light come on and it seemed to be making a grinding noise the parking brake felt off and felt like it was driving worse than ever. It was Friday so I drove it home instead of returning to the dealership. I brought it back the following Thursday after speaking to them telling them what happened first available appointment. When I brought it back in they said all my rotors in brakes were warped I needed a new alternator and a new power steering pump. I asked why all this stuff went wrong immediately after getting service from them. No response there was nothing wrong with it when it was here. So they quote me another 2 grand in repairs. I had my breaks done around 10k miles ago so they will still be under warranty from big o. I went in with a car that just died besides that ran and drove great. Spent 6400 dollars to get a car that sounds like a dying pig and makes a grinding noise while driving. Which they say has nothing to do with their service. Wont be back. Wish I never went. I would not reccomend. Summary car is worse than before and I have spent 6500. read more

We purchased a car back in August at Pueblo Toyota. The salesman "Aaron" was super cool and polite during the deal. "Chris" upsold some unnecessary insurance that we were told we could cancel at anytime. Also the car we purchased only came with one key but we were promised another one at the dealership expense. They also told us that they would owe us a detailing job on the car since we bought it so late into the evening. I took the car up to Pueblo so that they could detail it. They had the car for 4 hours and when I came back to get it the car had not been detailed instead they did some kind of safety inspection on it. A few weeks later the heater on the car had some issues so we made an appointment and took it back to Pueblo so that they could fix it. They had the car for almost 2 weeks. They told us that they would drop it off at our house and when they did the car was dirtier than when we took it to them, they broke the windshield trying to fix the heater and replaced it with a cheap windshield and also they put the car back together "DASHBOARD" like they had no idea what they were doing. So now back to the key. We have spoken with the finance director and he told us to make a false claim on the insurance so we could get another key. He stated "that is what I would do is just tell them that you lost it so they can get you another one." So here we are in at the end of December and are still trying to get a key for the car. We have still not had the car detailed by them. Oh and like I said at the top our salesman was super cool ya well that changed. As soon as the papers were signed we pretty much disappeared to Pueblo Toyota all they want is your money. We buy a new car about every year and we will not be purchasing another one from them. Poor business tactics, no call backs so when they tell you that they will call you back umm they won't. Update: as of 01-01-20 we have not been contacted by the dealership in specific "Chris" when we were told that he would look into something for us and call us right back. Also when I was on the phone with him he continued to talk over me and yell into the phone. As unprofessional as a salesman can be or any sort of professional. I had a blown crossover cooling line which I took to them for repair. They forgot to bleed the air out of the line, causing an overheating situation, which ruptured the surge tank which then needed replaced. I went back and forth with them as continued overheating issues required replacing the cooling system items one by one, including the radiator (they forgot to tighten up the upper and lower hose clamps causing the radiator to empty out), coolant pump, hoses, thermostat, etc. Finally the engine couldn't take it anymore and it seized up. I had to buy an expensive used engine which they supplied, but immediately found that the engine was burning oil. When queried, they said they don't perform compression tests or leakdown tests on incoming used engines, but just trust the junkyard for QA/QC!?? After removing that engine and replacing it with another engine that was just as bad (I had to pay for labor AGAIN!), I gave up on them. Don't ever use Pueblo Toyota for your Toyota repairs. They don't know what they are doing. read more

Very disappointed. We bought a used AWD vehicle from Shane. The vehicle initially had one different tire on the vehicle, which is an absolute no go on AWD. I was assured the tire would be replaced with a matching tire and the vehicle would be aligned. We have been dealing with salesman Andrew Vigil over the past week. We made a casual inquiry into the price of Toyota vehicle about a week ago. Since that time, Mr. Vigil has phoned every day and sent emails. In short, he has been pestering us. This evening, he phoned at 5:50 pm, the dinner hour. When that fact was pointed out, along with the fact that his attention has become troublesome, instead of apologizing and hanging up, he proceeded to argue about his timing. When confronted in a subsequent phone call he argued about his sales technique and arrogantly declared that his sales manager, Ryan Fitzgerald, was 'just fine' with him. Bought a Tacoma from them. Purchase was so so. I'm not particularly mad about the deal but it also wasn't the best deal I could have gotten. The rep flat out told me my trade in would be listed at a certain price and that's why they offered me so low, 24 hours later its listed 1500 over what he claimed. I understand they expect to haggle and get a certain price, but he specifically said, no well list it at this price no matter what. The alignment on the NEW truck was slightly off from day one. brought it in at about 500 miles when I had time and left it all day. Got a call 5 hours later that it was ready to go and they aligned it perfect. Drove it the next day, alignment was exactly the same. Went under and looked at the tie rods, hadn't even been touched. Still had the same paint marks from the factory. I hat being lied to. I honestly don't think ill be back there. That is such a silly thing to lie about, so 1 strike your out. I got to Springs frequently enough and will just use that dealer from now on. read more

I went in to get a copy for a key and I was scared it was going to cost a lot. Thankfully Jeffrey in the parts department was able to look up the key I needed through my Vin number. It was going to cost only 15$ and I would have to order the key. Jeffrey was nice enough to ask me if I would prefer a metal key he had in the back that is only missing the rubber piece that says toyota. I said sure I would try it since it was only two bucks to make. Luckily it opened my doors and started the car. So I asked him to make another one since it was so cheap. This only worked because my key doesn't have a chip in it. I have a cool 2008 Scion XB, thanks to Jeff I have three keys now and I don't have to worry about my wife losing the key. read more

Pueblo Toyota has a deceptive sales staff. After emailing Rachel all my info she told me to come in and said she would make the deal work. When I arrived I was passed off to another sales person who knew nothing about the deal. After he spoke to the sales manager for 45 minutes he said the deal was impossible. He apologized because he read the email correspondence and said that's not how they do business. So 3 hours wasted driving down from the springs. Awful service department. The last 2 Toyotas that we purchased will be the very last from this dealership!! Took my Sienna Limited Premium car to them because the power steering malfunctioned while I was driving, the power windows locked up the interior lights flickered and the front end was making a noise. I was literally afraid to drive my car and it was not even 2 years old. The service department told me they could not replicate the problems so the reset the power windows and it is ready to be picked up. There is an issue with this car but they are not willing to take a risk and fix anything covered under the warranty because the are afraid they wont be able to get paid for it. So the try nothing. I also took my car there after they rewired one of the harnesses because the power sliding doors no longer worked. They tried to claim that it was a recall issue and there was no fix at the current time. The best they could do was disable the power doors. Those doors are impossible to open when the power feature is disabled. Not ok, the doors worked fine before they worked on it and eventually they fixed them. It took a lot of fighting them on the issue for them to even admit that it could have been something to do with the electrical work they had done on my car. I am so frustrated with this dealership. Has completely turned me off of Toyotas all together. read more

Pueblo Toyota always has a great service team. They are fast & do a great job. They explain everything that needs to be done & always make me feel safe when I leave. Thank you service team! I do have one consistent problem since I have moved to Pueblo & started using this dealership, the front line receptionists have always left me with the impression that I needed to beg to get services that I should have had no problem getting. In the beginning when I moved here, I was told that they wouldn't honor my Toyota care package. I had to jump through hoops, get the dealer that I bought the car from in Kansas involved & argue with the receptionist over why she said my service wasn't valid. It took the service crew to figure it out. All she had to do was ask them in the first place but instead she got angry & in turn made me angry. Today, I had an appointment. I am not feeling well. I called to tell them I would send my son to bring the vehicle to have a spare key made. She told me that it wasn't possible. That I had to do it myself and was not at all sympathetic to the circumstances. She was actually very irritated that I was questioning why. I felt like there was no effort to provide a solution. I was transferred to service & once again, a magical solution! They were very pleasant & helpful. Here is what they don't understand, because they are the front line of your business they don't have the luxury of being irritated with customers because they set the tone for our experience. Maybe you should have your service crew do some training with the receptionists about how to give the customer a pleasant experience. read more

If I could give them less than one star I would...This was one of the worst buying experiences I have ever had in all the years I have been buying cars! It is a very long story, and is a painful one so I won't go into it here. Apparently some folks like these guys, so it seems that you will be taking your chances if you decide to buy from them. As it is with any online review though, you don't know who is writing the review, the dealer themselves could be submitting the ones that are positive. I'll start this by saying I have purchased 3 vehicles from Pueblo Toyota in the last 4 years. I should have waited For J. Baker to come back from his vacation, but we needed a Truck. (the 2 cars we got from J. Baker, the deals were flawless and he is a true asset to Pueblo Toyota.) We met Jeff Algien and he seemed genuine, but when it comes to the follow up and the deal finishers he is a nightmare. I have been given the run around since mid July, it is now the end of Sept. He still has not given me all that was promised in our deal. He is a JOKE. I am truly so disappointed with his performance. Before I found out he was a liar I referred a coworker of mine to buy a vehicle from him, when my coworker showed up he began the deal, half way thru he mention that I referred him and Jeff made it into a joke and called him liar( we were suppose to get a referral check and that never happened either!) His deal was way worse than mine when coming to things promised. He doesn't need to be employed with Toyota or he will give them a bad name. It's a damn shame. Ill be going to Baker or Logan Layton ( she has gone above and beyond for our needs and is a true gem to have at he dealership. Late review, but I bought a Tacoma from them a few years ago. I just got back from deployment and I had a new kid. I had to upgrade my truck to another one. I love the Tacoma when I saw it and they said everything was fine and it was a used one. After test driving it and taking it home, I found out that it had a weird clicking when you were driving it and turning. Also took them forever to get me a spare key. I had to drive all the way down there from Colorado Springs to get it... Also they pulled the loan trick where they said we were approved for certain loan and called us back on Monday to tell us alone never went through. That's a bait-and-switch and wrong because it never ran the first one to begin with. So what they did was lie to us and go with the finance institution they wanted so they got more Kickbacks for themselves. I will never do business with them ever again. I will definitely go to Larry H Miller for any purchases in the future when it comes to Toyotas. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Also, I keep getting pointless mail from you for extended warranties and to buy vehicles from you. I've also heard other people say they will never do business with you ever again and they traded in their vehicles to the Colorado Springs Toyota just to get rid of the vehicle you sold to them. read more
