Great place to take the kids and wear them out . . . especially when its cold outside. Kiddie pool goes as deep as 3-4 ft, its heated, and they offer free life jackets of all different sizes. I think it costs about 2-3 dollars a person but there are options available if you buy in bulk. My only gripe is that they have a single family changing room and it can backed up sometimes when the place gets busy. If you don't mind taking your child into the adult locker rooms, it wouldn't be a problem though. Lucky to have it around

They never renovated the locker rooms to add stalls or curtains. Also, they open at 1pm on Sundays... such a bad time for the weekend...

What TAC does exceptionally well: * Top‑tier aquatic setup with multiple pools, plenty of lanes, and a fast competition environment. * Convenient location right off Convention Drive with a large parking area and overflow options during big meets. * On‑site café and swim shop, which is a lifesaver during long meet days. A few things to know before you go: * Spectator seating can get crowded during major meets, and sightlines aren't perfect for every lane--pretty common for big aquatic centers, but worth planning for. The front row is not the best seat in the house. There is a railing that prevents filming.

It is nice to have a facility dedicated to swimming vs having to share with water polo. The air quality in one indoor pool near the outdoor pool appears to be questionable, but it appears they could have the doors open for more ventilation as an option. Very well kept and always staffed if you have any questions needing to be answered. They even have a swim gear vending machine, which has come in handy several times! The only thing that I could think of to change is the metal wire barrier in the bleacher section--glass would make more sense so you can view the pool and make for easier viewing/taping during meets.

Seriously, these bagels were like hockey pucks and the muffins just crumbled in your hand when touched. Not a great way to start a long day :( Our instructor told us to head to the dining room for lunch, which would be $10.95 for the buffet including fried chicken or $7.50 for just soup and salad bar. About 30 of us walked down the hall and the hostess seated us. We were just finishing at the buffet (with no fried chicken in sight) plates in hand when the manager of the dining room told us to take our things and get back to our meeting room. It was extremely awkward. We took our belongings and plates of food back to our meeting room where the manager said a server would be delivering silverware momentarily. About 10 minutes later, the server arrived and had no clue she was supposed to be bringing silverware. She went to get it and by the time she got back, our food was beyond cold. The manager came into our class and told us it was time to come to the cash register to pay, so we all followed her out. She rang everyone up for $14.32, even those that only got soup/salad. She said that was the price and she can't honor what we had been told. In the afternoon, they brought cookies and various cans of pop into the class room for an afternoon snack. Would much rather have had something that wasn't loaded with sugar, and perhaps some water. There had been a water pitcher set up with breakfast but it ran out quickly and was never refilled. Not a good spot for a meeting :(
