A few things to know before you go: * Spectator seating can get crowded during major meets, and sightlines aren't perfect for every lane--pretty common for big aquatic centers, but worth planning for. The front row is not the best seat in the house. There is a railing that prevents filming.

The only thing that I could think of to change is the metal wire barrier in the bleacher section--glass would make more sense so you can view the pool and make for easier viewing/taping during meets.

Originally I rented the deck for her ceremony and the Dogwood for her reception but I cancelled the deck because of issues with the management. I had so many issues with management that I personally would never use this place again, at least not for anything that required decorating so ladies be forewarned that you can't use flowers of any kind of the deck. You can't hang anything because you aren't allowed to use any type of ladder. So pretty much no decorations at all. The worst part about renting this facility is that you get different answers from different people about different things. The guy that is in charge works like 4 days a week for 6 hrs a day so good luck with quick responses to questions. The only good part is for a small wedding if you dont care to decorate it's cheap. $80 AN HR. That's half a traditional venue cost for an off day. So there's that.

Not a great way to start a long day :( Our instructor told us to head to the dining room for lunch, which would be $10.95 for the buffet including fried chicken or $7.50 for just soup and salad bar. About 30 of us walked down the hall and the hostess seated us. We were just finishing at the buffet (with no fried chicken in sight) plates in hand when the manager of the dining room told us to take our things and get back to our meeting room. It was extremely awkward. We took our belongings and plates of food back to our meeting room where the manager said a server would be delivering silverware momentarily. About 10 minutes later, the server arrived and had no clue she was supposed to be bringing silverware. She went to get it and by the time she got back, our food was beyond cold. The manager came into our class and told us it was time to come to the cash register to pay, so we all followed her out. She rang everyone up for $14.32, even those that only got soup/salad. She said that was the price and she can't honor what we had been told. In the afternoon, they brought cookies and various cans of pop into the class room for an afternoon snack. Would much rather have had something that wasn't loaded with sugar, and perhaps some water. There had been a water pitcher set up with breakfast but it ran out quickly and was never refilled. Not a good spot for a meeting :(

They provide meaningful jobs and social opportunities for adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The cafe sells coffee, tea, pastries, and locally crafted gifts. They have seasonal offerings, nearby parking, restrooms, and indoor and outdoor seating. Leashed dogs are allowed on the outdoor patio. We visited on a weekend morning. The cottage was bright, welcoming, and bustling. As we waited in line, an employee greeted us, presented the menu, and answered our questions. The walls around us were adorned in beautiful paintings. The line moved at a steady rate and soon we were enjoying our drinks and pastries at an indoor table. Overall, we had a positive experience here and recommend this cafe to others!
