I ordered the medium acai bowl ($12) although I was worried if I was going to be able to finish it in time for the Broadway show I was going to next door. (Spoiler alert - I definitely finished it!). I got the mixed soft serve base of strawberry acai and peach soft serve. It had melted by the time I got to it as it was on the bottom. #life of a slow eater Then I got to choose 3 fruits. I chose banana slices, strawberries, and pineapple. As for the crunchy toppings, I got half and half of birthday cake granola (yes) and oreos (yes yes)! Then had honey as my drizzle. They were VERY generous with the honey! My creation looked gorgeous! I went and ate it quickly in their upstairs seating space and dealt with a little bit of a sugar crash later in the day! I wish they had some healthier crunchy and drizzle topping options! And my strawberry slices were still a bit frozen. But overall, I loved my lunch from The Fruit Salad. I politely answered her question and reminded her that it's on the order ticket that prints right next to her. Then it took her 15 minutes to make it, after consulting other arriving employees. At least she was having a good time talking to her friends on the other side of the counter while I'm standing there waiting. This place is simply no longer worth the trouble or hassle. I won't be back after today and I recommend you don't either unless you have plenty of time to kill. I expect this place to close permanently at this rate.
