    Olympic Corned Beef & Hash
    B L.

The food was awesome. The service was friendly and nice. They answered all the questions we had about the menu and even allowed a sub substitution of their breakfast item. The ambience was really relaxed and quiet. You could hear the person sitting across from you with no issues. The corn beef and hash is made from scratch which is a plus in my book. Will definitely go back when I'm in the area.

Great diner with friendly workers!! As soon as I walked in, I felt very welcomed. We checked in with the host for a table and there was a little wait but I love that they give you a buzzer to let you know when the table is ready. The food tasted good but the pancakes were what stood out the most to me. They are big and fluffy and you can taste the vanilla! The only negative was that some of the benches are torn up a bit from wear and tear but overall great place.

Holy moly what a fantastic breakfast place. And reading the menu, I am sure it is a wonderful lunch place and simply a marvelous place to have dinner. This was our first stop after I had a bit of minor surgery in the Columbus area. I couldn't have asked for a better location to relax, unwind, and enjoy one of the most flavorful meals. I think I've ever had. My wife and I were both able to enjoy the euro omelette with the addition of spinach. Everything had such tremendous flavor, the portions were generous, and it seemed our coffee cup could never run dry before they were there to refill it again with some of the best coffee I've had in a while. We had a moment to speak with one of the owners, and she shared with us both she and her husband were the proud owners of this wonderful restaurant. We wanted to let her know that our experience was fabulous and that we couldn't wait to come back for another trip. Oh, I'm not going to schedule another surgery, I believe we'll just make a special trip to enjoy another fine dining experience at this wonderful establishment. You don't wanna miss this, stop and give them a shot and I'm sure you won't be disappointed.!

We were visiting the area and had no idea where to go for breakfast. Our hotel desk associate suggested Olympic Diner as it is a local favorite. The interior is ...... well, like a diner, just not one of those ones that looks like an old airstream. We didn't expect anything more than that.... As it is a diner. Looked like a scene from Corner Gas really. We ordered our typical breakfast, 2 eggs over medium, bacon, hash browns and rye toast. Nothing special, but everything was very good as though we had cooked it at home.... But no cleanup. Our server was attentive and friendly. You could tell that she's made many friends with the customers. Total for breakfast including tip was $20. Can't beat that. And, I don't care for chain restaurants when I can eat local.

I love homemade corned beef hash with poached eggs and they did not disappoint. The breakfast was delicious. The serving was huge! My husband had a meat filled omelette which he totally enjoyed. The service was on point and the restaurant was quiet and conducive to conversation. I would definitely come back.

I may have eaten here twice this week. It's that good. And the service is great. Smiling, happy servers. And the owner typically checks in and thanks us for our business. I had the #6 breakfast platter with smoked sausage. Their waffles are also very good. And the cod Sandwich is popular with my group. The corned beef hash is different than what you might be used to with large slices of corned beef, bell peppers and onions. Very lean. I'm a fan and will be back.

We popped in here for breakfast after talking about going to this place for years. For some reason it just always skips our mind! So happy we finally stopped in. We love diners and we love breakfast and brunch. I will say, it was SO hot in there lol. It was a weird warmer day seasonally but that was a little but of a struggle. Aside from that. The service and the food were great! I got the corned beef hash. I'm alittle but of a sucker for corned beef hash. I saw a few people with complaints that it wasn't the traditional kind of corned beef hash that they are used to so it wasn't for them. To put it bluntly, if you're looking for a place that serves the corned beef hash that comes in a can and served off the griddle then it's probably not for you. This is legit fresh corned beef sliced up and chunked up and fried up with eggs and potatoes and onions. It's delicious. My husband got the mama bowl and loved it. We will definitely be back to try other things!!!

We love this diner! They have consistently great food, generous portions and good service. It's standard diner fare, we go frequently for breakfast and have always been happy. Most recently I got this grilled chicken salad, made it buffalo style. SO good! They served it with warm pita, really satisfying. 10/10 recommend!

Yet another good breakfast, good diner, good food, good portion size, good service and good price.

WoW! Behind the innocent facade of a strip mall restaurant, lurks a very delicious place to hang out and have a nice breakfast/lunch/brunch. I have been wanting to go here for a while now, so today was the day i got to experience it. These mom and pop places are the heartbeat of America, and this one didn't disappoint. My mate was already there, so i walked in, told the server i was meeting someone here. Wow, just wow! I have pictures, and let me tell you about the olympic burger. It.was.delicious! Cannot wait to come back and this time, bring the Swiss!

Came to Olympic diner for a breakfast date with my son. The server was attentive and prompt. We got a #1 which was two eggs, meat, home fries, and toast. I got my eggs on the side and extra crispy home fries. My son got a Mickey Mouse pancake with bacon. Everything came out right and was great

It was moderately quiet with no booths available only tables left. so this must be a morning ritual for a lot of folks nearby. While waiting for our menus we got lost in the past of old Hilliard with all the cool pictures and historical photos. They had so many framed photos on the walls. When we did receive our menus my daughter opted for a kids French toast with bacon which was only 4.99 on the kids menu. I opted for biscuits and gravy with house potatoes and eggs over easy for 11.99! Nice execution of B&G with a yummy country gravy. Biscuits were a little hard on the edges but that was the only thing left on my plate. With some salt and pepper added to my meal it was a fulfilling and tasty breakfast. There's only a couple waitress, so it may take a little longer than average, but we still received decent service.

Firstly, the quality of the food was exceptional, which is fundamentally what a diner should deliver. We ordered a DK glazed donut, which met expectations, and I chose the Meat & Cheese omelet, which was comparable to other diner offerings. My husband ordered a skillet dish, which he reported as satisfactory. Although visually unremarkable, the taste was commendable. However, the service was disappointing and almost non-existent. During a busy period, there was no hostess apparent, forcing us to inquire at the cashier area about seating. They took our contact information, and shortly afterward, our table was ready. We were seated and provided menus, but the wait for a server to take our order was excessively long. It was indicated that coffee was self-serve and that customers should select their own mug. Subsequently, we observed no further service at our table, and the food was delivered by staff members elsewhere. I had to locate condiments independently. After finishing our meal, we returned to the cashier to settle our bill, which was not presented to us. The seating area within the diner is small, which is expected given the establishment's size. One additional concern is parking: the lot accommodates approximately seven vehicles, and street parking in Grandview Heights is limited. This constrains accessibility and could diminish visitors' overall experience in the area. It is hoped that in the future, the service at this establishment will align with the high quality of its cuisine.

We were warmly greeted upon arrival. Inside was immaculate and inviting with an upscale vibe. The food was, of course, delicious. The overall service was slow and it was a smaller table for four (we should have been in a booth) so the pacing of the dishes were off to start. Rolls didn't come to the very end because we had apps and then main dishes. When I had asked about the rolls, as I thought they forgot, I was told they just had not been out yet since we did not have room on the table. Also, we weren't really attended to and didn't see the server hardly at all, with long times without being checked on. That's the easy summary on service. I am sure it was an off day for the server or just the time of day. It wasn't terrible just below expectations for the price point. Back to food, my partner and I started with the Blue Cheese Chips, I enjoyed the Meat Loaf Dinner, and he ordered the Eggs Benedict w/Crab. Rolls at the end. We found street parking on Riverside but there is a parking garage near the front entrance.
