The Pulse team is so committed to making every workout experience a positive one. I've been attending Jacki's Fit Camps and group glasses for many years now and wouldn't go anywhere else. The gym is beautiful and fitted with all the coolest equipment, but for me the comradery, music and always different classes work the best. Unlike most other hardcore fitness classes I've known, Pulse trainers always suggest modifications so everyone can participate, at any age, and feel good about their effort, not deflated or discouraged. During this pandemic, Pulse offers fit camps and classes virtually, which has opened up all kinds of possibilities - no excuse for missing classes! Brianna's LIIT (low intensity) is always good and easier on the joints than some high impact options. I've been searching for a gym where I could have access to fun, knowledgeable, motivational trainers, learn something new every visit, and get more out of my time spent at the gym. Jacki's DIY workouts are perfect! Challenging, get me out of my comfort zone, force me to try new things, to work harder and set new goals, and best part? They're included in my membership! If I'm not familiar with an exercise or piece of equipment, there's always a trainer available to give a quick lesson. If I need the motivation a group I can take a class or if I want to drown the world out with my headphones I can just grab a diy workout card and get it done. I used to spend 1.5+ hours at the gym and was stuck in a routine rut. Now I'm spending way less time at the gym and have hit my body fat goal in just 30 days of mixing up the workouts. Easily the best gym I've ever joined. As a parent of young children I'm thrilled that my kids love going to Game On. Plus it gives me the opportunity to not only attend classes but to go for a run or bike ride as well. There truly is something here for everybody. Early mornings, evenings, and in between. Weights, TRX, cardio equipment, classes, bootcamps, and more. A wide range of classes are offered: weightlifting, HIIT, barre, spin, rowing, and the list keeps growing. Just getting in shape? Pulse gym is hands down the best gym I've ever been to! Literally every class I have taken, I leave there thinking "holy crap, no way can the next class be any harder then that" And sure enough, the next class I think I'm about to die in a new way We call ourselvesPulse junkies & it is true! I started out with beach boot camp & then got addicted to rowing classes. Now I'm a new mom and can't wait for the mom bootcamp to start to I can lose these last few pounds! Best workout venue on the island. Pulse offers a location for just Barre classes another location right next to stop and shop for some seriously intense and some less intense classes given your mood :-) Pulse also has a gym in the same neighborhood, with rowing machines, infared saunas, blow dry bar, best and cleanest gym showers I have ever seen! Plus Game On for kids. It is pure fun for kids not like a nanny center where they are bored while you work out. Game On is hands on and activite. ( trust me I have 5 kids in total ) Jackie and Chris treat everyone as part of the Pulse family. You can not go wrong! read more

I've been working out steadily (5 days a week) at Pulse for 4 -5 years now. I can't get through the week without a multitude of ass-kickings from any one of 7 or 8 talented and focused instructors. (Pam, Alegra, Brianna, Ray, Anne Marie, Lisa, Frank, Leslie....and of course the leader and beau - Jackie and Chris) I work out all over the country and internationally (sans Covid) and it's really hard to beat the programatic, creativity, and educated body focus that Jackie has assembled in her training schedule. In all honesty, I was intimidated to go to Pulse for many years. Friends and acquaintances of mine that went seemed to be in incredible shape and obsessed with the place. A friend of mine started teaching so I decided to try it. I can proudly say that I am now a PUSLE convert! Pulse is more than a gym it is a community. Not only are Jacki and her team top notch trainers, but her team creates a community and spirit which elevates the workout experience. I recently began attending the Monday/Friday Upper Management class with Chris Lane and it is NOT to be missed!! Always different, always a challenge and will definitely give you that "Damn, I'm Sore!" but in a good way feeling. The class gives you an incredible from the abs up workout. It is fast moving but you also get to set the tone yourself with how you want to challenge your self with weights. If you like to mix up your routine Pulse is definitely the place to do it! read more

I have been going to pulse for almost 10 years , the teachers are wonderful. Barre to Spin you name and they have it ! Going to workout in the past for me was always something I didn't look forward to, but after joining Pulse I look forward to each and every workout . Wonderful gym with so many options and great people - both members and trainers! I have been taking Barre classes with Lisa Fitzpatrick and cannot recommend her classes enough! From traditional Barre to Biker Barre to Barre Survival, Lisa's classes are always challenging, but also so much fun. She also has the best music and manages to mix it up for every class.
