They are the cleanest facility with an upstairs cardio room in addition to the various machines and free weights. I highly recommend this place. The staff was friendly, the changing rooms and showers were clean, and I was able to get an early workout and shower in before having to go to my meetings. The location is great for me and Gym management WAS good. Totally different experience there now. Using my Blue Cross insurance I joined 7/1/25. I have placed many phone calls, text messages and an email to set up my membership without a response. I did received one call back from Caroline and after an exchange of information and FOB number, she said I was "all set". The next day I tried the FOB to gain entry, and it did not work. I texted Caroline back and we agreed on an appt with Gabe at 1015a the next day. I showed on time and Gabe was not there. I again texted Caroline and set up a 1100a appt. Gabe is a no show again. Frankly, don't know how the expect to remain in business. My advice is don't waste your time and money with AF Newport.
