You occassionally can't get a treadmill or eliptical without waiting and forget about jumping on an empty stair master. Locker room is usually in need of a 'refresh' and sometimes there is no hot water for taking a shower. (In the staff's defense, there is never a time when the locker room can be 'shut down' to be cleaned.)

There is a large pool, multiple yoga rooms, a large basketball court, a spin/cycle room (with updated quality bikes), two exercise equipment rooms (with updated equipment like elyptical machines), a well staffed and organized child care section, and newly renovated locker rooms. You can truly spend a day at this location enjoying the many perks. For example, we enjoyed an afternoon of family swim, then dropped the kids off at their childcare (included with a family plan membership), and spent time on their exercise machines and in the weights section. They have quite a few better machines and strength training compared to some private gyms we used to belong to. You can tell this Y tries very hard and cares about staying committed to its members. There's a sense of pride in this place that can only be experienced upon immersing yourself in all the South County Y has to offer.
