Called in today July 30-2025 for technical support, the rep was probably the worst customer service person I have spoken to in a long time. basically it was as if I was bothering him. I asked specific questions and he just referred me to the manual. I asked again, maybe he could send me the specific information via email, he had no interest in that and just said, again that info is in the manual and on the web. I regret purchasing these pulse shower valves and the Kauai iii shower systems as they have been nothing but trouble, and unfortunately I bought three of them for my home. I needed to purchase a high-end showerhead at the last minute. Since Home Depot or Lowes don't sell products like this, I was relieved to find a store in Watsonville where I could walk in and buy it the same day. My plumber was impressed with how quickly I got it and the quality of the system. The shower head feels bigger than I expected, and I love the matte black finish and the option to use the wand when cleaning the shower. It took me over a week to clean the water buildup on the system, and I was worried about the hard water stains on the matte black. However, a spray bottle with half water, half vinegar, a bit of dish soap, and a microfiber cloth took care of the concern. I will definitely purchase from this store again when I remodel bathroom #2. read more

Where do I begin. I have 4 pulse showers in my custom home. I've reached out to the on multiple occasions. They rent me the wrong parts to repair my showers even after I did everything I could to clean them. I told the representative, that the parts sent to me was the wrong ones. The parts have a limited lifetime warranty. Boy, that's some warranty the Pulse Showers has not lived up to. The cost to replace theses faulty units in my home, would cost several thousand dollar. I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this company and it the customer service they offer. If I were to warn the unsuspecting customer, it would be check to make sure the company stands behind its product. read more

The spa itself - love it. I had to replace the hose to the handheld ordered just the hose. Received the hose and a handheld. Called spoke with Amber. She was soooooo rude. I tried to explain what happened she would talk over me then hung up on me while I was on hold. Called back she went on to tell me I got what I order that she was on line looking at what I ordered...it wasn't but she never gave a word in edgewise. If she would have just let me ask questions instead of repeating condescendingly the same thing over and over I wouldn't be reviewing this place. She transferred me to her manager because I had to do a Karen - sent me to nowhere. I did ask for the managers email but I doubt I got the right one. If she would have just let me ask my questions to understand how this hose/handheld shower head (WHICH was not the same shower head to my shower - nor is the hose in the right color - I got chrome - my unit is brushed nickel), maybe I could have understood her side. Instead I had my dad the plumber put a doodad on the thing to make it work because one side didn't fit the spa correctly. Whatever...its working now and I hope that I never have to deal with AMBER again. read more

Several years ago, I installed a Pulse ShowerSpas Lanaii system and followed their detailed instructions exactly, and it worked perfectly. My wife loved the adjustable jet spray! Recently, our hard water caused the diverter valve to clog and the overhead shower stopped working. I called the Pulse office and they gave me instructions for cleaning the valve, but that didn't fix the problem. They sent me a new valve which I installed today, and I am pleased to say that it again works fine. If you can handle the "honey-do's" around the house, don't be afraid to install a Pulse ShowerSpa. As a walk-in with my broken shower and invoice in hand, they couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. We have loved our Pulse Shower Spa for over 10 years. Just recently, some of the finish began to wear off the diverter knob. I reached out to Pulse but, unfortunately, our model was discontinued. That's where Erik Lua came in. He worked me through taking the knobs off so that he could determine what type of cartridge was in the model. It became necessary to replace a different part on my Pulse Kehei shower unit (See my previous post). Three years later, the professionals at Pulse ShowerSpas came through again. It has been a year and a half since we had our bath remodel include a Waimea Shower Spa. It has performed flawlessly. We are on a well and you cannot tell when the well pressure changes from a low of 36 psi, and the cut off of 56 psi. Flushing a toilet, even in the same bath makes zero difference in the water pressure and temperature. The Shower is constructed with a high grade of Stainless steel, that includes all the controls, the panel and even the hose to the spray wand. The only thing that is plastic is a small spray outlet, a thumb grip on the spray wand. Even this is a high grade of plastic, and reminds me of an auto body panel.The Body Sprays and rain shower have rubber self cleaning numbs, and all the heads tilt, to adjust the spray direction. The only thing we varied on the installation, was we mounted the shower a little higher, to allow for my height, and it is piped in 3/4" PEX, with the last fitting reduced to a 1/2". We are remodeling our other bath and we are changing the floor plan so we can have a Waimea Shower in that bath too. read more
