I came in to get 4 new tires and a balancing…read more The process was very straightforward--the day prior I checked the Firestone website if they had the specific tires matching my car in stock, then I scheduled an appointment, and then the center was ready to get to work when I arrived. I really appreciated the timeliness since I have experienced other tire centers where the work may not start for another 30min-1hr after showing up for your appointment. The work was also completed on time, and there was no pushiness for other services. Overall really great value for getting all 4 tires done! The location is near a large strip mall with many restaurants to kill the time. There is also a small waiting area with tables in the location. I really enjoyed my visit and definitely recommend coming here!

I had just had my car in at a different shop and they were in the green at 9mm. I then took it to another shop the next day and the rear brakes were at 9mm still. I definitely felt like because I was a woman they were trying to take advantage of me and I would not recommend taking your car here at all.

By comparison, Park Place BMW has one advisor working and have NEVER pressured me I went for an oil change and overheard the service advisor talk about his new Hellcat (Hello commissions) as he tried to turn my $125 mobil 1 oil change into a $2500 bill, NONE OF Which was recommended by the mechanic. As Zach, the front desk guy, told me if your car uses 0W-30 synthetic oil, they will charge less than 5W-30. Has anyone in Rochester got this? Ironically, I called ahead and provided my car's year, model with the type of oil that I have been used for years which is full synthetic, on the phone they told me the amoun lesser than they charged without asking for VIN number as Zach said to know which weight of the oil. Bottom line is be careful to bring your car for service at this auto shop in Rochester, MN because they will find a way to charge you more with their "complex but not straight upfront" as simple as engine oil service. Surely they won't see me again. BTW, Zach gave me a long list of courtesy diagnosis recommended fixes in which I'm not sure I trust it due to what happened to oil change service I got.

All metro shops wanted almost as much just to diagnose it as John's Garage did for the entire repair. It may be a bit of a drive and they don't do loaner cars (highly recommended this as it would pull others in) but SO worth it to work with a man who is straightforward and honest about his work.
