I visited Pump It Up and had chicken tacos with me. When I arrived, I was told I could not bring the food inside due to their policy. While I understand businesses may have rules regarding outside food, I was disappointed by the way the situation was handled. The staff member who spoke with me came across as rude and disrespectful. The explanation felt abrupt, and the interaction lacked the courtesy and customer service I would expect. My concern is not the policy itself, but the manner in which it was communicated. This is one of the places both of my nephews frequent in recent birthdays as they are both winter birthdays & it's easy for their classmates to get to. The kids definitely have a great time every year & Pump It Up has a schedule for each reservation; the kids are introduced to the concept/safety/rules, led into one of the rooms where they get to play for about 30-40 minutes, then lead into a bigger room where they have other slides and additional activities to choose from (a 'high wind' simulation, photo booth), then lead upstairs to have food/cake with their friends. Those who work there are mostly high school kids doing the best they can & do just fine. Some of the cons is the parking is terrible; even when I was told by my family to come early to help set up & they have a few "reserved" spots up front, that can vary by the staff who aren't very kind about it even when it's discussed by the payor of the reservation & there is signage to park against the wall near an apartment building next door...or you have to park across the intersection about half a block near some other apartment complexes. So, basically the place is packed with large parties from morning to close so just keep in mind of this if you're planning to come out. read more

My family attended a child's birthday party here and I didn't have any high expectations. I underestimated the volume of play space and how fun all the variety of giant inflatables were for the kids (and adults). I'm a germophobe when it comes to managing my toddler and the areas appeared sanitary without funky smells and other unknowns. I can imagine how hectic it would be trying to coordinate ongoing parties throughout the day and tons of families; but the staff could do better with communicating check in, transitions between the large play rooms, and their overall lackluster demeanor in dealing with children. read more

We hosted my nephew's birthday party on November 23 2025 and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing because of the unprofessional behavior of the staff. Our booking was until 8:30 p.m., and by the time our guests left, it was about 8:40 p.m. My nephew suddenly needed to use the restroom, but the staff refused to let him, which felt unnecessary and inconsiderate. It was clear that the staff--mostly teenagers--were eager to leave early rather than provide proper customer service. Around 8:50, one of them came out and repeatedly told us to "clear the premises" and even suggested we "go talk in the next parking lot," while we were still packing up our things. That level of rudeness is unacceptable. It seems the facility is cutting corners by hiring inexperienced young workers to save a few bucks, and it really shows in the lack of professionalism and courtesy. A bit of training and better hiring standards could have made all the difference in turning a frustrating experience into a positive one. read more

Unreasonable rescheduling policy. DO NOT RECOMMEND. We had to cancel our party since our LO is still on her last stretch recovering from the flu, because obviously, the last thing we want to do is to make others sick during the holiday season. And we were told we can only reschedule our party on a date that is within 3 weeks, meaning all the reasonable times are already picked by others and only the "left-over" times are open. It is basically a sneaky way of taking the money because there's no way you can find a time that actually works. So if your kiddos have a birthday in winter when all viruses are going around, do not have a party here because rescheduling is impossibly and you will just lose your money. We were looking forward to having a fun party here and now? what a scam! will never come back. read more

We had a great time and the facilities were clean, wiped down between groups, and check-in was a breeze. The rooms we went into had two staff making sure the kids were safe, and they were super nice. The rooms are also temperature controlled, so it's a great place for the winter or super hot and smokey summers. There's a soft drink vending machine, but a free cold water fountain near the rooms. There is a table hockey game that is $1.00 per play, or $15 for unlimited play - the kids loved this! The party rooms are nicely sized, and they provide a large rolling bin for guests to put in presents for the guest of honor. Party goodie bags were also provided by Pump It Up, and it wasn't full of junk, but stuff kids would actually play with. We got a fun blow up ball (good for littlest ones to elementary kids), crayons and activity book, a rocket thingy, and a plastic fist launcher (you attach it to a plastic handle and squeeze to launch the fist - great for the park). My son had a party on 8/10/2024. The bucket of presents was taken off premises by another family. One present was opened. The staff knew nothing of what to do, they called the other family but could not guarantee the presents would be returned. Additionally, as the host we were NOT EVEN NOTIFIED of this. The staff didn't say one word about the issue until a dad of a partygoer asked. Then, I talked with the female at the desk and said "please come to me with further details about this. I'm the host." They continued to go to the dad for updates. The presents were returned. One had been opened. Then, after leaving a poor review via the email survey, I heard from Mindy. She said she would give me a refund. Well, she didn't mention it was for $50. !! That doesn't even cover the pizza. I called her back, she said "oh well no, you got the whole experience. The presents were brought back." Refusing to give me any more of a credit. Here's the thing, my experience was poor because I was busy trying to help chase down presents during my son's party. When food arrives, they refuse to provide any help. 1) can we still order food through you? -no 2) can I borrow the chair and eat outside? - no. 3) what can we do? It's hard to like this place, it's really bad. #1) Hosted a party in June 2021, the only food allowed is a mandatory relationship between Pump it Up and Papa Johns. I provided our order and the pizza that arrived was not what we ordered. I was assured they would fix it and have more pizza ordered. But what good does that do when the party is happening right then? How do you explain to a young child that their favorite food didn't arrive because the staff can't figure out how to handle food orders? Staff were unapologetic, somebody mentioned that a manager would be in touch. Nobody ever called. Hosted another party here in August and that experience was actually worse than the June 2021. Nearly a $1000 in party fees paid to this establishment and they are operating at a 1 star way. Would recommend hosting a party elsewhere. read more

We went here as guests for a birthday party for a one and three year old and it was awesome!! The best part was that adults can jump on all the inflatables with their kids so it was fun for both parent and child. You do need to wear socks so don't forget to bring them for you and your child. It was only for an hour but that was honestly the perfect amount of time to play. Even I got tired from all the jumping! Afterwards you head to the party room for food and drinks. I'll start out by saying the parking situation isn't ideal. There are only a half dozen places up front, and most are designated for the party hosts. There is additional parking to the side, but it's a little difficult to see how to get there if you aren't paying attention. Once inside it's a kids paradise. Lots of inflatables for climbing, bouncing, sliding, and jumping. Make sure your kids are wearing socks. I wasn't there for a party but I can see how it would be a great place to have one. My main complaint is one that multiple people have mentioned, the teenage staff. They are not paying attention to the kids, they are very intent on chatting and interacting with one another. One of the structures needs to have staff watching to make sure the kids jump one at a time, but the staff kept wandering away. My granddaughter was hurt by another child that was intent on jumping immediately after he climbed up. I reminded the child that one person jumps at a time, but he was young and over-eager so I took my granddaughter to a different area for a while. I can imagine that it's tough to find mature folks to work for minimum wage in this environment, but they definitely need to find staff that are willing to pay attention to the kids. read more

This is a great place to have a kids birthday party! I am very spoiled when it comes to having a large family with nieces and nephews. My brother and sisters kids are very well mannered. However get a group of kids together and they all turn into a pack of wild energy that would destroy any house. My brother little one held his birthday party here and it was safe, clean, and professional. The kids ran around like wild animals but it's all indoors on padded and puffy play sets you can just sit, take photos, laugh and let them scream their heads off. A friendly staff member monitors the group and they were having so much fun and expelling so much energy I couldn't keep up. You as an adult can go in some if the bouncy houses too and play with your kids or get photos. After 20 min your lead to a new room with more bouncy house fun. After that upstairs for cake and presents. The kids were so worn out (good way) that they fell asleep in the car on the way he And we're in bed by 8!!!!! While the facility is great and super fun for kids, the service was sub par and in case of food unacceptable. We had a party last night and ordered a bubble pack + food through the package. The bubbles was never put on and I had to remind the admin to turn it on. While this can be a genuine human error, what happened for food was unacceptable to the very least. We had ordered 2 XL cheese and 2 XL garden veggie pizzas along with chicken poppers. We got just 2 veggie pizzas and poppers; 2 entire cheese pizzas were missing. When I asked PumpItUp about this, they casually mentioned it was a miss on Papa Johns and if we order then, it would arrive after the party time was over. This is plain bullshit. There are so many places this is entirely wrong on PumpItUp side. When you're responsible for food, it is your job to make sure it is correct - at the time of placing the order, receiving the order, putting it in the party room. Unfortunately and sadly, none of this was put in place. And on top of it, blaming it on Papa Johns is a plain laughable excuse. This is not the first time it has happened; I have personally observed this happen at least 2 times before. People went back hungry from our party - how more embarrassing can it get for the hosts. The service quality at Pump It Up has degraded and the community needs to know about it. There is more competition in the area, so unless Pump It Up is serious about remaining in business, it needs to step up its game. read more

I have been to many private parties here and my kids always have a blast. But its an easy sell for them.... The reviews citing the staff's short comings are completely accurate. I learned the hard way that the photos they offer to take are horrendous. Poor light. Terrible quality, and they didnt get a single one of my birthday kid. The food policy also frustrates me.... Some outside food allowed but it is really difficult to serve a meal unless you buy from their limited menu. My kids have allergies so nothing on the menu was going to work and we ended up bringing bagels. If my kids didn't love it so much I'd rate it a lot less, as it is, I wish it was a bit more user friendly but we do look forward to occasions to come here. read more

We were invited here for a birthday party and my little one had a great time! The first go over the rules of the play area (which for a bunch of 2 year olds may have been a little over their heads) and then we were lead downstairs to partake in the bouncy areas, obstacle course, & giant slide! I do wish that everything was on one level since it's a bit of a challenge having 2 year olds walk up and down those stairs, etc. The slide itself is very very very (did I mention very?) STEEP! My little one wanted to go up it but since it was so steep it made it hard for her to climb. She's not exactly the most cautious of kids so when we got to the top and she got scared, I did too! I went down with her and that slide was soo crazy fast I think she would've flew right off! I even tried slowly us down by sticking my arms out but ended up with a burn on my elbow! They don't have any one regulating the slide so as soon as we came down I felt another kiddo slide right in to me followed by another! About 30 minutes in to this one area, we were told to gather our things and we were moved to another play area with a climbing wall, bubble machine, toy cars, foam blocks, and bouncy areas. I wished we were simply allowed access to both areas for the full hour rather than herding the children from one room to another. The whole play area itself is really dark?! I know they don't need a lot of lighting to play and bounce but it made for really bad pictures and would've been nice to be able to see my child more clearly in the dark bouncy houses! My family got covid and had to cancel the birthday party, the staff asked us to pay in full and call back a few months later to re-reschedule. After I did, they requested us to reschedule the birthday party only on workdays when kids are still in school (so basically no one can attend) and the staff was like "I don't give a sh!t" type of attitude. I have never posted like this before but want to share the recent experience I had with Pump It Up in Kirkland as I will NEVER have a birthday party there again and want to make everyone aware of their deplorable customer service. I had a birthday party scheduled there for Sunday but had to pick my daughter up from school early today because she had a fever. I called to see about options on rescheduling and was told the following about their policy: I am required to pay the balance on my deposit. I can then reschedule the party for any weekDAY (meaning Monday through Friday) or if I want a weekend I cannot do so unless it's within 10-days of when I want the new party date. So even though I have paid for a full party and the only reason I am pushing out is because of a sick kid, I am not actually able to reschedule on a date they currently have available because it's too far in advance. OR I can just take her out of school and ask all her friends parents to do the same - totally logical. I can understand paying the balance on the party but cannot get passed the insanity of not permitting me to book a party for a date currently free in January or February because it's too far out. By the time it gets to be 10 days from a party date there will be no availability. This policy is simply meant to allow them to get more money and has no consideration for their customers and the excited children looking forward to a birthday party. The time you need a birthday party venue for your kiddos I encourage you to think twice about booking it at Pump It Up!!! read more

First time there it was nice...second time wasn't as pleasant. I noticed the reviews about the staff service since the first round and this time it got me. This is for family jump....My daughter is small (2 year old) and got in hoping to let her play on the inflatables that are suited for smaller children. Well I got in for 5 minutes and they directed us to the next room. I asked the annoyed teenager why we had to move...she said it's reserved for a party that was coming in. If only I knew that that was going to happen when I was paying I wouldn't have brought her in. The other room they have is suited for much older children. So we ended up playing with foam blocks the entire time....if the staff was nicer I probably would've taken it a bit better. But she seemed like she just wanted to go home or something. Maybe family jump should let customers know that they won't be able to play in certain rooms? The front desk staff is what is keeping the star up. The kids had fun, which is the most important thing, but the overall experience was very poor. 1) I was surprised to receive a phone call a few days before my daughter's party asking if we wanted any add-ons. We had ordered Dominos pizza online via Pump It Up at booking (late August). Carly said that I must be mistaken about that because they've never offered pizza on the website. She said that I must have confused Pump It Up with another place that I looked at. (I did not look at any other places.) It's rude to tell someone that their memory is false. 2) The party room was filthy - old food on the floor. I was embarrassed by it. 3) Staff the day of the party was not very helpful, but we didn't expect or need much, so not a huge deal. 4) The staff took photos, but they weren't displayed on the screen in the party room. I had to call today to inquire about the photos. We didn't take many with our phones because we saw the staff taking photos. When I called, Kat said that my husband declined the photos, but my husband says he was never asked. (He's a big fan of photos, so it does not sound believable to me that he'd decline this.) I appreciate that Kat provided me with a code to retrieve the photos. When I went to download them, I saw that there were 8 poor quality photos, none of which show the birthday kid. What a disappointment. 5) At clean up time, the staff started shoving everything in the trash. Aluminum cans and all. What's the point of offering recycling bins if you don't use them? Amazing venue for birthday parties for kids! Private parties where the kids and the parents get to play, everything is clean and safe and I feel super comfortable having kids run around. They had a little accident with the cake but were super responsive and credited half the cost of the party. Definitely made it right. When we came to the party room, everything was set up and looked perfect. They have updated most of the inflatables so things are well maintained and new/fun for the kids. Having your child's birthday here or attending a party here is part of living in Kirkland. I think anyone who has younger kids has been for some reason. It is a party assembly line. The kids spend some time in a room full of bouncy houses, then move to a room full of bouncy houses and other toys for some time. Lastly end up in a room with tables to have cake and pizza. The whole time there are chaperones keeping the party moving and on schedule. Not to mention there is a separate party going on in the next and previous rooms. We haven't had a party there but have attended numerous parties at the pump. We feel like we need to because our kids enjoy it so much. My only concern is they don't seem to clean the bouncy houses before the next party especially with how busy this place gets. Probably not enough time. Regardless, there are no weird smells or any major red flags and its a great place for kids to release their energy. We will be back. read more

Don't bother looking for parking in front of the facility itself. There's only a handful of spots and they're generally reserved for those hosting a birthday party. Go look for parking in the back next to the Subaru dealership. My daughter attended a classmate's birthday party and from the looks of it, the kids had fun! They had a little over an hour of jumping time and they were able to switch rooms mid-way, which was nice. The facilities were clean and I can't complain. Facility is great, it's a bunch of bounce houses and slides, an indoor safe playspace for kids, how could you go wrong? We had my daughter's sixth birthday party there with tons of fun in mind -- and all the kids had a blast indeed. My disappointment was that while they promise birthday parties will be easy for parents because their staff will "take care of everything!" their staff did almost nothing. They advertised themed plates, napkins and partyware, and what they actually provide is cheap white paper plates only (after we asked, twice, they got out some spoons and a knife to cut our cake). Since their booking people don't seem to give any messages to the teenagers running the parties, lots of things fall through the cracks -- in our case we were kicked out of the gym 30 minutes before the end of our party because they booked someone else in for that time. They also took 20 minutes to turn on the air hockey table we booked unlimited (although they didn't forget to charge us), and accidentally gave away the ice cream we brought, to someone else's party. Furthermore the "party attendants" aren't customer-service trained or even nice. Picture it: humid day, 20 kids running around inside, A/C apparently not running. Attendants chatting with each other, each holding a drink. I walk up and ask if we can please have our cooler of drinks and the girl wags her water bottle at me while saying, "We don't allow drinks in the arenas." At this point I'd pretty much had it, and pointed out she was drinking water, why couldn't we? She rolled her eyes and said OK, but took 30 minutes to "find" our cooler while she chatted with the attendants from the other arena through the open door in the corner of the gym. Several of our guests reported that they were not treated very well when they walked in by the front desk. So, kids all had a blast (including mine) and I would totally drop in for playtime at Pump It Up, but due to the disorganization and laziness of the workers there, I wouldn't recommend a party there at all. I'm giving this place 5 stars for two reasons. One, they were genius to be open on Thanksgiving morning, when none of us have anywhere else to take our kids and someone has to be home to do all the prep work, which is nigh-on-impossible when you have a toddler underfoot. So I got here about 5 minutes before the 9am drop-in and my kid had a blast for the 1.5 hours. Worth way more than the $6 I had to spend to get in. Made the morning go by that much faster and gave my wife some time to do all the T-day cooking without dealing with me and our 3-year old :-) Two, for the amount of kid "traffic" this place gets it was remarkably clean and functional. None of the bouncy houses were ripped, inoperable or otherwise taped together. Maybe I just live in the gritty city of Seattle and don't venture out into the suburbs enough. Perhaps it's always like this? On a more general note, I saw that there were party spaces, and this would be a great place to take some 4-8 year olds for some serious bouncing. As others have pointed out there's 4 bouncy-houses in each of two areas - with one more for slightly younger kids (2-5) and the other sized slightly larger for older kids (4+). My 3-year old was adventurous enough to try everything, but it was nice that the shier (is that a word) kids had a place they wouldn't get trampled by the bigger, more rambunctious kids. There's even a "video viewing area" so that some of the adults can stay upstairs in a quiet zone and just watch through the TV. Obviously that doesn't work well with toddlers, but still, nice to know it'll be an option if I come back over the years. Also, the staff were super-nice, especially considering they were working on Thanksgiving in a place with 100-decibel hair-dryer-sounding machines and 100-decibel screaming kids. We celebrated my son's 4th birthday here and we've also been here one another time as a party guest. I'm giving 3 stars because the kids really do have a great time. So, this is the scoop (in my opinion, obviously): As a guest, it's awesome. Each bouncy area room is private, safe and fun - all huge plusses. And the kids absolutely love it! We'd love to come back and play when invited as a party guest. As a host, it's ok. Here is what I love/ don't love: Love: + As mentioned above, private, safe, fun play areas + Kids have an AWESOME time + Entire facility is kept up and appears clean Don't Love: - Entire staff is young, pretty disinterested (teenagers?) in their jobs - So, because of that, there really is no one "doing all the work" which would be my biggest negative feedback based on price paid and services received. We have another child with a party coming up in January but I won't be back to Pump it Up for that. - We were completely rushed out of our room. HUGE NEGATIVE. The teenager cleaning the tables was in such a hurry that he sprayed me with cleaner as I was packing my things on the opposite side of the table. We got 40 minutes for pizza, cake, and presents. No leeway here since they pack us in. - Paid $35 extra for Pirate Adventure. Which was just not worth it at all. They should offer themes included in the price they charge. A few more things to note: - They take photos and you can pay extra to download later (pay more, seriously another charge??). I didn't see the photos at the party, but purchased anyway so I didn't miss out) and most of them were the sides or backs of bodies, dark or blurry. - The bouncy house areas are dark and not well lit. - None of my things that I put on the carts upon arrival was put in the fridge as promised (everything I brought was in the exact same place as I left it when we arrived). read more

When I went in weekends, the store manager is very very mean about it and refuse to provide any kind of help, also threaten on us in multiple occasions. Can I have my birthday here too?! Clearly I am too old but one does wish. According to most parents I know you are dirt if you don't have at least one party at Pump It Up before you hit age 5. This place has a ultra huge basement with two rooms. Each have 4 gigantic inflatable playsets. One is always a huge slide, a mini obstacle course and two bouncy rooms. They are fantastic and big enough for adults to join in (I mean at the insistance of the kids of course). An added bonus is the upstairs "banquet" room which everyone goes to to eat cake and open presents. The birthday boy or girl even gets a throne to sit in while their friends are treated like peasants for a few minutes waiting to give their present to the King Or Queen O' The Day. It's fun, it only lasts a few hours - I think 2 tops and it saves you from having to host something yourself and the wicked clean up. read more

This place is awesome!! We had my son's 4th birthday party here last year. And we are going back there again for his 5th birthday, PER HIS REQUEST!!! We love the fact that the party area is totally private and so everyone on the inflatables are part of your party. The staff is nice and from what I recall, there were at least 2 Pump It Up staff people supervising the play. Initially, we thought we would try something different at 321 Bounce in Bellevue. I paid the deposit, without checking Yelp first :(, then a few days realized it was BIG MISTAKE! We went to 321 Bounce and discovered that there is an area that is unsafe for kids 6 and under. Smaller children can climb in but unable to climb out without help (and it is not visible unless an adult actually climbs in)! The problem is exacerbated by the fact that the play area is NOT PRIVATE! Also, there is only ONE staff person assigned per party. I have noticed that with most kids birthday parties we have been to, most parents are NOT watching their own children very carefully. So as a host, it's important to me that the play areas are safe, children won't get trapped, and there is enough staff supervision. Pump It Up is great!! As far as I know, Pump It Up is the only bounce place in the area where your party is completely private. read more

Sadly I was reminded when I quickly ran out of breath and began to sweat profusely... Inside pump it up there are at least two inflatable arenas where everyone can run around and play. Additionally I saw one of the other rooms, sadly not mine, strobing with black lights. That's for my next visit. This place could be a decent way to celebrate your kid's birthday if it wasn't run by teenagers. As is typical in cases like this, situations that but slightly deviate from the script can't be handled effectively. This is what happened to our family recently. Upon arrival, we asked that a box of ice cream be put in a freezer. When the box was brought into the playing room we found that ice cream almost melted. To rectify the situation I decided to put the ice cream in their freezer myself, only to find out that the freezer was completely warm inside. My attempts to explain to the kids who assembled inside the room that a basic requirement for a properly functioning freezer was to have freezing temperatures inside were an exercise in futility. Some were angrily mumbling something about "the freezer being definitely a freezer", some even waved a box of ice cream at my face, telling me "if the ice cream was good, then the temperature must have been freezing". Bottom line, don't expect great customer care from teenage employees. YMMV. read more

This is my first time to hold a birthday party at Pump It Up. The staff at the play rooms are good, but the service at party rooms is VERY VERY TERRIBLE. The staffs in the front desk basically did not provide any service and they were always chatting. When I arrived with a lot of things on my hand and waiting at the front door together with my 3 years kid, the staff did not help me at all. No staff was assigned to my party room and no one came to offer any help during the party. Pump It Up just couldn't arrange enough staffs to help with the party rooms at lease Sunday noon, which means, you are on your own. When I asked for some plates and napkin, the girl at the front desk looked unhappy and impatient. Then the next conversation I had is, she came in and told us that we have 15 minutes left and they will change overtime fee after that, right in the middle of birthday cake cutting. No one helped us to drive the whole process, no notice at all about if we were already behind the schedule too much, and the only notice was you need to leave in 15 minutes! Due to the lack of staff help (you will know what this HELP means if you read my last paragraph below), we tried our best and it was 15-minute late when the room was all clean and we were charged additional $25. When I told her that her service needs to improve, she just didn't even bother to listen and response. I really don't like this place and I will never come back. At Pump It Up, I guess the staffs at play rooms will not be too bad since it involves safety. But the party room, you probably will only see some young teenagers working only for the hours and dollars, and won't care what you need and how you feel. Call some friends to help you out if you have no other places to go, because you are literally on your own for the party here. On the other hands, we have been to several other similar places earlier this month to attend parties of my friends' little ones, Pump It Up just had the worst party room service. If you want to know, I will recommend Kidz bounce which has dedicated staff in your party room help you decorate the room, prepare the table, light and even cut the cake for you, tell you when you are behind the schedule, smiling and always be around and behind you, just like one of our best friend. read more

Our kids have always had a great time at Pump It Up. We've had two birthdays here and they were a breeze to plan. We brought in our own cake and they provided everything we needed to serve. Their facility is surprisingly clean too! Thumbs up! read more
