The first thing I noticed was the parking situation. It is limited, but there is a parking garage that requires an app to submit your plates for 2 hours of free parking. They are next to the library and park which has their own parking. Someone mentioned that the library will issue tickets. This museum is probably the cleanest one I have been to. I have been to a good number of kid museums. The bathroom doesn't have liners for the seat, but the seats and sink were clean the three times I went in. There is a reading area, water area, train track area, small farmers market play area.

So glad to have KidsQuest close by in downtown Bellevue to take my daughter to on rainy days in the fall/winter/spring and days where we want to be inside with A/C in the summer, haha. While not as big as other kids museums in the greater Seattle area, my daughter can still usually spend 3ish hours here every time we come. There's a good variety of exhibits here - and though the larger activities are permanent, they do a good job of switching out some smaller activities (I think maybe seasonally?) so it keeps the museum interesting with new/different things to play with each time we go. KidsQuest also does a good job of providing activities to accommodate and entertain a wide age range from toddlers up to kids in early elementary school. They also have special events/activities/programs throughout the year so check out their website if you want to know if there's anything going on. Overall, I'd recommend KidsQuest if you're looking for an indoor activity filled with fun, hands on exhibits to occupy your kid for a few hours! Tip: Prime card offers a discount for admission so make sure you use it if you have it! Otherwise, an annual membership is probably a better deal if you plan on going more than a few times a year.

Very clean; friendly staff are great about putting things back where they belong. Loved the treehouse reading nook, outdoor "kitchen", the truck, and water room. We stayed for about 1.5 hours having arrived an hour before opening. Had to park in the nearest garage and would have been under the two hour free limit. Parking in the actual parking lot is unlikely since it fills up quickly. Gift shop has some lovely variety in products. Kids had fun but was hoping they'd have wanted to stay longer since it was my planned activity for the day! Loved that the admission rate was for the day with in and out privileges. If we lived in the area when my kids were small, I'd have definitely purchased a membership. Great place for a birthday party venue.

What a fun museum for kids to get their energy out! Stopped by KidsQuest Children's Museum on a Friday morning at 10:30am. The main parking lot is quite small and was already full so we parked at the adjacent lot (close to the library structure) by the park. $14 per adult and any child over the age of 1. There were a few play areas down on the first floor (Water Play, Atrium Climber, OnTheGo) and an outdoor area as well, but a majority of the exhibits were upstairs (City Scape, Story Tree, Tot Orchard, etc.). Before arriving, we thought 2 hours would be a stretch here but the kids had so much fun and time went by quick. Great museum for play and learning. Thankfully we came on a weekday morning so it wasn't too crowded with more than enough space for the kids to run and play without waiting.

We had scored free tickets to check out this place and let me just say as a new parent, I am sold 100% to the point where we bought a membership. So far my 11 month old can only do the "tot" area, but he's incredibly happy with that. Personally I'd be most excited for the toy train, climbing, and water play areas so I'm looking forward to those in the future. Definitely worth the 1.5 hours we were there, which could've been longer if it wasn't for nap time. Cons: Awful small parking lot for the volume of families it attracts. Went (opening time) Thanksgiving weekend on a rainy Saturday, but it got crazy busy within the next 1.5 hours. They were at capacity, so we were lucky we reserved ahead of time, but even at capacity it felt a bit too much and uncomfortable for a young baby to be more than an arm's length away.

This is the worst. We arrived there on Dec 15th and went to the front to buy the tickets. Turns out the museum is closing early without the front giving us any warnings. The website and Google maps still list the closing time at 5PM. When I call the manager and inquire about that, they just hang up on me. It's so frustrating especially when I have to go away to another place for awhile and when I come back, my wife and kids have to wait outside, IN THE COLD. The worst service I've ever seen.

I don't understand the hype about this place. We are surrounded by real nature in the Seattle area (as well as real museums), and instead hundreds of kids and their parents are packed in a small building with little breathing room to climb some fake rope, play some toy wood train set you can buy on Amazon, play with plastic apples in a tiny plastic farm, and splash some tap water in a metal drain? There are better ways to entertain your kids that are far more enriching and less claustrophobic and chaotic than this place. And it can be done for far cheaper too.

Kids like it for sure but it is unacceptable to charge parents. Should allow at least an adult to supervise every kid

It's on the bottom floor of the Armory building -- make sure you take the main elevator in the center of the food court, not the side elevators, or you'll end up wandering around confused. Once you're inside, though, it's fantastic. There are tons of activities and play areas, and plenty of seating scattered throughout so parents can actually sit down while the kids explore. My 18-month-old had an absolute blast, and even two hours wasn't enough time to cover everything at her pace before nap time. The changing rooms and stations are clean and well-maintained, and there are designated snacking areas too. My biggest complaint -- and the reason I don't get a membership -- is the parking situation. It's a mess. There are lots of different parking lots around Seattle Center, but they're expensive, and most involve a long walk if you're hauling strollers and kids. If they ever fix that, this place would be perfect. It does get busy, especially on rainy days but it's so big and spacious that it didn't feel too crowded on a Tuesday morning.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. When you enter the dome is really cool, you can lay down or sit on chairs. We laid down but by the thirty minute mark your body starts to ache a little. Also the show was not directly overhead rather slightly forward facing (most of the time) so you should think about bringing a pillow! Right when the show started the lasers were pretty sub par, but by the middle they added more lasers from different directions and smoke which really elevated the visuals to the next step. The music started off wayyy too loud, my ears adjusted over time but afterwards it was hard to hear ppl next to me. There's really no need for it to be that loud when we're so close to the speakers and we're not competing with audience cheers. Was a fun hour spent! But I think there is much more room for improvement.

The Science Center itself was packed with engaging, hands-on educational activities for both children and adults. In fact, we were so busy participating in the exhibits that I barely took any photos! We explored topics such as physics, Earth science, optical illusions, how the brain works, AI, STEAM activities, and other interactive sensory experiences. Every exhibit encouraged learning through participation, making it enjoyable for all ages. One of the highlights was the Butterfly Pavilion, where we even had the opportunity to feed the butterflies. It was a memorable experience and a favorite for our family. Overall, the Pacific Science Center offers a wonderful combination of education and entertainment. All movies are now shown in the much smaller and much more uncomfortable side theater. We totally got bamboozled for Project Hail Mary, not knowing that the PACCAR Boeing IMAX theater was sold and closed right before this movie was released, which caused the movie to get pushed into the smaller theater. We had no idea this smaller theater even existed in the first place until we lined up outside for the film. I don't believe (but am not 100% sure) they ever showed new feature films in the smaller theater in the past, so I believe it's somewhat disingenuous and very misleading behavior. It's a completely nonobvious change. Plug "Boeing IMAX theater" in any search engine, all that comes up is this smaller PACCAR IMAX as the top result. The small theater is really weird. There's only a tiny outdoor concession stand and the bathrooms aren't even inside the building, requiring a trek outside then down some stairs to reach. There's no assigned seating, same with the larger theater. We got to the movie 45 minutes before showtime and there were around 40 to 50 people already in line ahead of us. Luckily the theater is large enough that we still got some decent seating, although the seats here are cramped together and pretty uncomfortable. Overall I was very disappointed in this movie experience. I will definitely not be returning to watch movies at PacSci. I wouldn't have purchased tickets in the first place if I had realized the movie wasn't being shown on the 59.4 x 80 ft screen.
