Went here for the first time today with my 19 month old. He had a great time, everyone was so nice employees and customers. Parents were all very attentive of their own children as well as others with little ones. Facility was clean and there was an employee actively watching play area. We have make a reservation for 25 kids and also call in to make sure if we can change the party if we have more or less kids. They said they will call us before the party to confirm how many people. Even the email they send us said they will call to confirm. So we wait for there phone call. End up we have called and no one answer so after like 4 times finally we could get a hold of them 1 day before the party. Then we said we will have lesser guess and they said is to late to change. I was like wtf. U guy suppose to confirm with us and u guys never did and they said they have send us a email to confirm but the email we received is the day before party. So i will never ever go back again. If my friends have party there i wont recommended and i will not go. read more

I went here with a groupon for 3visits for $10 which would have been a great deal but they actually mean you have to bring 1 kid 3 times not 3 kids in one visit - totally not worth it. I had to pay an extra $13 as well as $10 for a groupon for 3kids for a place I won't be visiting again. I will also be complaining to Groupon. We went to the 6 - 8pm open play which I called beforehand to ask if it was suitable for younger kids (we had family in town or I wouldn't normally go at this time) My 6 year old had fun until some much older kids beat him up in the "boxing" ring. My 2yr old who is normally very keen on jumping, got pushed by older kids who were in a rush to get up the slide, and the "staff" just stood about. There was no one helping with the younger kids. There was nothing - not a single bouncer that the 2 2-uear olds could go on. Parents climbed on without socks. no one policed the batting cage so at one point there were 8 kids in line while the same kid repeatedly batted away . There were several incidents where the kids slid down on top of each other. I was really disappointed. I've been in here before but its been at least a year or 2 and the staff were great. They would take the younger kids and slide down with them. No one helped them at all tonight. The 2-two-year-olds just ran around in circles for 1.5hours for which I paid $13? I'll spend the $10 per kid at Great Mall's Play place where at least my 2yr old has something age appropriate to play on and my 6 year old isn't being attacked. read more

We celebrated my daughter's 4th birthday here and I am not excited or happy to review this place. First of all this place is a rip off, seriously... They only give you two hours and charge you for $600 for 20 kids. Give or take thats $30 per kid and includes soda/pizza. I feel Bouncearama is a better value and just a better experience. I can not blame their staff as they were attentive and the host was actually extremely nice and seemed genuine. I blame the small parking lot, the rather ghetto small location, and the "other" patrons for making this place not desirable in the future. Loved these guys! The facility is huge compared to other Pump It Up locations (friends who visited compared it to the one in Sunnyvale and Milpitas), and was fairly clean for a facility that sees kids going through in waves! I had seen the other reviews, both positive and negative ones, and settled on this location for our son's 5th birthday. We didn't regret it. The staff was super helpful, Jasmine and Isabella were amazing in helping us out! The food from Round Table Pizza was great too, though some cheese pizzas came a little overdone. The only sad part about the whole story was we had changed our pizza orders and were assured by the staff a day prior to the party that the order had been successfully updated with Round Table Pizza. Unfortunately it didn't work out that way, and we ended up with our earlier order of 4 (instead of 6) pizzas and in the end some of our guests were a bit unhappy about that (and rightly so). The staff was super helpful, they did try to order more pizza which arrived 5 minutes before the party ended, and didn't charge us for it. Still sad that some of our guests had to suffer for this. Great place for private party! My 9 year old loved it. 30-40 guests including adults and kids all together enjoy the slides and jumpers. Privacy was the key to choose this venue for birthday party. Have been to several birthday parties here. It is clean, the staff is attentive and helpful. My kids absolutely love it. I agree with prior reviewers that mixed-age parties don't work well - we have a two-year-old and a five-year-old, and they just can't share these kinds of activities. But that's OK by me, because I like for our two kids to have separate activities. My one major complaint: the only food they serve is pizza. We won't be hosting my son's parties here because he has a dairy allergy...no cheese. We always have to leave parties early, or else bring our own McD's or something else for him to eat while the pizza party is going on. read more

I love this location. It has long open jump hours. There are 2 large rooms. You first start in one then after hour or so they move you to the other; gives you variety in the jumpers. I would recommend to wear socks with grips since it will be easier to climb structures. Kids get exhausted & sweaty after couple hours of play. Birthday parties are well organized as well. Had my child's 5th bday here & it was a huge success. Kids all loved it & had fun. All the kids were familiar with Pump It Up so no one was scared or intimidated by structures. Very easy planning- they do everything! We bought pizza & chicken wings from menu. We only needed to bring cake & water. They play for 1hr then move to party room for last hr- done. Worst place ever! Hardly anything for the kids to do except for three boring jumpers. ( Crowded and no ventilation) I paid $30 for my three children, one that had just turn 2yrs of age. There is nothing for kids between the ages of 1-3, yet they pay to enter. I was only in there for an hour, because they were closing an hour later yet they charged me full price. My kids were so ready to leave before the hour even ended. Not worth spending your money here, you are better of taking your kids to normal park, and for Free. In addition they have BAD Customer Service too. A couple of teenagers running the place. This place really knows how the birthday party process works. You come into one room, the kids play like crazy, then you go into the second room. The second room, they continue to play like crazy, but in the dark with black lights and lazers and stuff. Awesome for the kids, but gave me a headache. Then, you go into this cramped little room to eat pizza and cake. The room really is way too small, with very little room for adults to sit. We all had to stand up. And since we all pretty much stood up in the other rooms as well (very limited adult seating) it kinda sucked. Overall, this place is a clean, well-oiled machine for birthday parties. Warning: Stay Away We just had my son's 5th birthday party here, yesterday. The party coordinator - if you could call them that - messed up our cakes. We had the right cake when the candles were blown out but behind the scenes they cut the wrong person's cake and served it out. Ours was an ice-cream cake whereas the other folks had a regular cake. Also the photo-package/add-on is something that you should stay away from. The photo quality was bad and they had hardly any photos of the birthday boy. Finally, the "coordinator" left us in the room without any cups to serve soda in and I had to go back to the reception to drag someone back in to provide me with the cups. Small play area..... even for $8, i felt it's a rip off place. If not for Groupon which I already purchased, I wouldn't come back. ( Even with the groupon, I still felt it's a totally waste of my time) Play area is small & very limited things to do, there were not much things for young kids to do ( under 3); Not enough staffs to supervised. Some kids were just rude and mean and they pushed little ones around or tried to took over whatever they were playing with. Yes, I agreed the parents should be the one to blame, but when there were lazy parents that were no way to be seen, then the staffs should step in and be in charge. We hosted our daughter's massive 7th birthday party here; the kids and adults had a great time. Though we were a large party, there was plenty of food and fun for everyone. Our party hosts were great about returning our calls and adjusting to our guest count updates and subsequent additions to our food order. The hosts kept the kids busy and taking advantage of each room. I appreciated the free downloads of party pics; I only wish we had set aside time for a family photo. My niece had her 3yrs. BDAY here. Wish I knew ahead of time to bring socks. No worries, they have socks for purchase $2 a pair. (thanks cuz for the socks.) My 6yrs. old seem to enjoy himself , cant say the same for my 2.5 years she was afraid to go in on her own . The staff was very attentive with the kids. She even noticed my little one screamed her head off inside one of the jumpers. She asked me if she can carry my daughter out from the jumpers. This place is really for kids 10 and under they have lits of trampolines for them to jump on and go crazy. It gets busy and full of kids and screams on the weekend. Lots of people have bday parties here. The kids jump for a determined time then go into a private room for food and cake that the bday family either/and/or buy and bring. You myst sign a waiver for anyone that will jump. Good way to have your kids use their energy. The employees are usually nice and accomodating but this time we got a young asian girl that would not crack a smile, she was so uptight and tense. Never laughed or smiled with the kids. I offered to help her serve soda she said ok and never thanked me or said anything. Very awkward. Her coworker a guy with long hair would just walk around looking at the kids and again no smile or conversation with anyone. The cashier was nice and patient with check in but only the cashier. We had a joint birthday party for my two daughters and it was great and such a fun experience! They got to play in both play arenas in a private setting only open to the party guests. Went here for my niece's 1st birthday party yesterday. Unfortunately, we arrived LATE so my Chub-Chub didn't get to bounce around. : ( Anyway, this seems to be a pretty cool place for a kid's party. You don't have to worry about keeping everyone entertained AND you don't have to worry about post-party clean-up! : ) Only drawback is that you're on a very *strict* time limit. I came here for my friend's twin daughter's 3rd birthday. I've always seen this place but I have never been inside until I went to a similar birthday party last year in Belmont. It can be easy to miss though if you're coming from the freeway. If you're coming from the other end, you won't miss it. Parking is small. Once we got inside, I had to sign a waiver. Now I don't remember doing this at Belmont and I thought I completed one online when I RSVP for the birthday on the Pump It Up online invitation. Oh well! In the first room, they had the same inflatable slide and obstacle course as the one in Belmont. My son enjoyed the inflatable baseball where you hit the floating ball into one of the holes. He also enjoyed playing the car arcade game with me (he's only 2 years old). In the second room, they had a massive inflatable with four slides. There were two other inflatables but I think most of the kids preferred the one with the slide. I didn't see the two guys that was overseeing play with the kids too much like at the one in Belmont. However, when one of the kids got hurt, I did see one of them make sure that the little boy was alright. After the kids had their 90 mins of play time, we went to eat. There were four different types of pizza, which my husband thought was much better then the one we ate at Belmont. There were also chips with salsa, a veggie platter and drinks. Overall, we did have a good time though I did like the Belmont one more. Apparently, my son and one of the birthday girls wants to go back and play some more. Had my daughters b day there her friends enjoyed it and the staff was friendly and nice our party took place around 2pm food was delivered on time and we had the open gym for 2 hours and had the party in a nice large room. Kids like this place. But I won't host another party here. 1) host family should have a reserved parking space. However, it's all occupied by non host family. 2) used to have staff to help to unload party material from car to inside. Didn't happen this time. 3) birthday boy should have one time play inside the wind machine. One staff said we had it but I told her we didn't. We had to go back and forth so many time to explain and no one knows what's going on. 4) party coordinator should be in the play area to oversee the party. None was there until it's time to move from one side to the other side. No support!! It's such a big disappointment, we had so many great party before but management quality declines a lot. For the first time I brought my son to Pump It Up. And the overall experience was not too bad! the only disappointing part of it was that they don't have a WATER FOUNTAIN! The star is for the staff who was our host throughout the party. She was sweet, attentive, and easy to work with. That's the only earned star, unfortunately, that I can give. The process to sign up was easy, it's a phone call. But the information is conflicting...the booking person said we could bring in food, but the person confirming said "no." So I had no choice but to cancel the order of food I had planned to pick up and order from one of their approved vendors (Round Table). I asked for a gluten free option (two of my guests had special dietary needs) and was told they had no options for that. So I was again told I could bring in special dietary foods for my guests. Ok, fair. Come the day of the party I walk in with my special food (chips and hummus...I had a ziplock with a gluten free pizza in my purse) and was turned away by the woman at the front desk, saying only the chips can come in, but not the hummus. I was very upset, I asked why. The first two answers I got were a version of "It's company policy." I finally got a better answer after pestering, which was "We are responsible for any guest getting ill from foods, even if its not something we provided." Ok, reasonable, but not in alignment with the original message. So, I walked out with the hummus and figured I'd have to take the guest outside for her to eat. SMH. Here's where the 2nd star comes in. Kids had fun! We go in, kids are having a blast, tons of fun. Move to the second arena, just as much fun for the kids (age 5-9). YAY. After all, that was the whole point of the party, right? This is where it went wrong. I go into the party room to approve everything, and guess what. The veggie try I had to buy from them was MOLDY. No kidding. Moldy cherry tomatoes, moldy cauliflower, really old and slimy celery. I blew up at the poor girl helping us. She said she'd get it correct right away. I walked to the car, got the hummus, and walked back in just as the hostess was showing the moldy veggie tray to the woman who turned away my Sabra Hummus earlier. She said "I've never been more embarrassed. I spoke with my supervisor and he did say you could bring in the food for the people with special needs." So, good, because I was going to bring in that hummus and the gluten-free pizza in the ziplock in my purse no matter what. We did get a better veggie tray, still had black spots on the cauliflower but at least nothing was slimy. Here's their policy: No outside foods except cakes, cupcakes, ice cream, and chips (bagged chips). Why? They're responsible for any food borne illness that is contracted on their premises, even if they didn't provide it. Fair, but not exactly fair, especially since they don't get their food fresh themselves. If they're not even trained to look at the product they put out, how can they possibly scrutinize what a guest brings in? Here's where the customer service "poop" hits the fan. I go to pay. NOT ONE apology. NOT ANY FORM OF DISCOUNT. Not even a hint of remorse regarding the miscommunication, the moldy food, or anything. Nothing comped. Everything full price. And the audacity to ask for a tip. I only gave one because the hostess with our group was so great. Don't patronize. It's cheaper to rent a bouncer and party at the park. Then you can control the food, food costs, and selection/quality. read more

I have celebrated my kids birthdays here for years because it's private, the hosts are awesome, the pizza was delish (Mountain Mikes), used to be able to bring your own fruit and chips/salsa. Glow in the dark parties are a must. For my son's last birthday in April, they changed the pizza provider to Domino's. We weren't happy at all about that. You no longer can bring salsa for the chips you can bring or your own fruit which is not cool. Wish they kept their old policies... oh well my kids are growing up so don't anticipate anymore parties here.... :-( read more

We finally got the chance to check out this place after being invited to one of the kids' classmates birthday party. The place isn't so bad. The first room had the basic bouncy house and maze, slide, a couple of video games, and a "batting cage". The raging music hyped up the mood and the kids looked like they were having the best time. The cubbies where the kids place their shoes in seem a bit too high for the little ones to reach, but the attentive and playful workers are quite helpful in assisting the young ones. After about 30-45 minutes of play time in the first room, the kids were led into the second room consisting of three more big bouncy houses. In here, they also have little tricycles and balls to bounce around, as well as a little play area for the tinier tots! There is also a huge inflatable throne where the kids took turns having their picture taken in. The third room is the dining area. We didn't get to stay for pizza and ice cream since my girl had Nutcracker rehearsal, but I'm sure there will be a next time. I personally have not hosted a party here, but overall, it is a cool little place to host a quick, but fun party for the little kids. They also offer drop in play hours which is great on a rainy day. We were invited to 2 birthday parties that was held here (both, years apart). The first room (room A), had 3 inflatable jumpers and the second room (room B), had 3 jumpers and a few game stations (played in a dark room). Since we were allowed to have a maximum of 6 people in each jumper at one time, I wished they had more jumpers to fill out the space. The last party I went to, we had at least 50 people. If you do the math, that's only 18 people playing, simultaneously. The remaining 32 people were just idle and waiting for their turn. Also, for a facility that hosts birthday parties, 3 restrooms (2 female & 1 male) is not enough. They also need to expand their parking lot. If you end up coming in late, you're stuck parking on the street. read more

You have to go and check out the new glow lights!....this is the place to be, friendly staff, clean facility, indoor safety and tons of fun. my children love to be here for almost all the pop in play times on wednesdays, we almost know everyone who comes, like a big community getting together towards the same goal, let the children have safe fun and get them tired before going to bed! read more

This my third time to be this place, every time some family member's ( kids) birthday event. I like this place because 1) Within two hours time frame your kids and you have almost all the fun you need. 2) As a Adults we are engaged with kids activities all the time no time to think anything else, time pass very quickly even adult can play too. 3) Within 2 hours you can have blast party , no hassel for food, cake, drink or any other small chores. Pump it up on Whipple road Hayward. It was brought to my attention by my daughter in law that it might be fun to check this place out, so I did. My grandson Anthony 4 years of age and I went during walk in time. Note: check time for private times and public times. It's about $10.00 for 2-3 hours of fun time, what I seen was children going in taking there shoes off and putting them into cubby holes in a movable cart and the indoor play area is carpeted and has different sizes of inflatable jumpers some are very large. They have two sides of the building with jumpers on both sides with a wall separating the two, the children play on one side for a hour then they make a announcement it's time to go to the other side. The staff take the cart with all the shoes to the other side just in case you want to leave. It is well worth the money they have a vending machine with drinks but I took my own bottle water actually 3 bottles and my grandson had two. They have 4 bathrooms and hand sanitizer inside. Definitely wash your child's hand before leaving and have something for them to drink. They have benches for adults to sit on. They also have big blocks and stuff to build so you and you child can play together. The staff is VERY HELPFUL and Children Friendly. I definitely recommend this place. Oh! Check Groupons for a deal. My niece turned 9 and we had a birthday party here. She did 2 rooms and the party room. She had so much fun and the adults could just sit around and chill..which was great. My kids had a fantastic time here. Lots of different inflatables to keep kids of all ages entertained. Our party host in the jump room, Noah, was super friendly and oh so patient with the kids. In between getting band aids, tissue, water, or ice packs, he was taking pictures of the kids. Then Cait took over for pizza and ice cream. She didn't stop once during our 30 minutes in the party room. She served pizza, then drinks, then helped the kids with chips and fruit. Passed out cupcakes and ice cream sandwiches.
