Worst customer service ever. Apparently you have to plan weeks in advance when to have a medical emergency.

I've been to this location 3 or 4 times, mostly for the "open play" and once for my son's 4th birthday party. For birthdays, it's pricy depending on the options you pick, but it's pretty worth it if you have to invite other kids. You get private time with just your group, which to me is the best part. I don't have to worry about random unsupervised kids running amok and the staff takes care of everything. For open play, you check their calendar online to make sure they have open time, pay $10 a kid, and hang out in the A/C for two hours while your kids get exercise. There's nice variety - a couple slides, a basketball house, a big round house, a "ninja warrior" style house with huge globes to jump across, and one where you climb as high as you can before you slide back down. Then there's a floor projector video game, a baseball area with a floating ball, and those huge blue block things you find sometimes at kid museums. Good stuff. I have never had an issue here with the staff. The only inconsistency is that they sometimes charge me for my 20 month old and sometimes they don't. ‍ My son's birthday party was scheduled the weekend of Hurricane Irma and they rescheduled us with no hassle or fees, and let us wait right until we knew if we had to. We've attended two birthday parties here in the past year and all the kids enjoyed it. They have two rooms with inflatable slides and bounce house type inflatables. Then you move to a party room at the end to eat. The pizza and wings were surprisingly good. But it seems a bit expensive for 10 kids it runs about $300, which doesn't include extra food or drinks for the parents. read more

We had my daughter's 7 years old B-Party, she chose the new Glam package and it was a fabulous success!!! They jumped, put on glittery makeup, dressed in beautiful costumes and posed all for photos, everything are included in the package. Had my sons 6th birthday party here. The kids really enjoyed however, a few things for the 4 star rating. The first room of bounce houses was very warm/hot. I asked our "chaperone" whom worked there twice to lower the temp which he did attempt to lower but the thermostat wouldn't read lower than 78. He said something must have been wrong with the AC. The second room was suppose to be glow and dark being i chose to upgrade my package to the glow wars.... We never got our glow necklaces and I had to ask the guyot turn off the lights. It was like he didn't know we had the glow package.... Plus NONE of the glow guns worked properly. They were all broken and the black pieces just fall right off so I would not recommend. After meeting with the staff in our party room they had bottles of Pepsi out but I I never ordered Pepsi. If anything you would think they would have water ready from jumping and running for over an hour. I did mention my concern and they deducted $30 from my bill for missing our glow necklaces and such however it is "recommended" to tip staff, which we obviously gave the "credit" right back to the staff who assist with serving pizza and cake. Overall, we had a good time but seems a bit pricey for upgrades that may or may not go right. Lastly, the music could use some upgrading in my opinion. The Elsa and Anna songs need to be retired for sure, especially for boys party. read more

Horrible experience. I called to confirm times for open play and was told it was open play from 1 to 2:30. Arrived at 1, paid for two 3 year olds and then was asked to leave at 1:30 because they "got the open play times wrong." I had to drag my twins screaming and crying off of one of the slides. We had my son's 5th bday party here and it was awesome! I brought the delux glow party package as recommended. Prior to having the party the event coordinator explained to me that laser tag probably would not be appropriate for our age group. She recommended the glow package instead even though it was less expensive. The children had a blast, the parents commented on the organization of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. We also enjoyed having a private party, there is no open play during bday parties. This allowed each room to be closed off which made it very easy to keep up with our large party of 22 children ages 2-6. Our party host set everything up for us and communicated with me so I knew what to expect next. Prior to entering the party room to have lunch and cake they provided hand sanitizer for each child and pointed out the restrooms. They went out of their way to make my bashful birthday boy feel special on his day. The host even told my son's friend to whisper happy birthday because my son did not like all of the extra attention lol. We live in the area and have visited other inflatable centers but this one is my family's favorite. Yes it is pricey compared to other facilities but I truly believe you get what you pay for. Paying the extra $2-3 per child is certainly worth having clean facilities, a safe play area and organization. read more

Extremely dirty place. Nothing clean, carpet disgusting. The service is unprofessional. I spoke with the manager first and she gave me conflicting info on pricing for the open play for children under 2. I then spoke with the owner Paula about some confusion I had about open play charges for children under 2 and she hung up the phone on me saying she had a customer there that she needed to address. I said I was also a paying customer (literally was just there that day and paid $13 For my 1.5 year old) so I don't know why she wasn't treating me like one. My daughter had her 8th birthday party there last night! Amazing staff and an amazing time! Completely private or our party and very accommodating. Had a party for my 5 year old daughter. Party went smooth-helping staff was courteous however, my husband and were refilling drinks, serving food, and offered no assistance bringing gifts to the car. Can adults have parties here too?! Cause if so, sign me up! I was asked to come here to help chaperone a friend's kid's birthday party. The chaperones (aka "Big Kids") had just as much fun as the kids did... if not more! We started off by entering a large room full of inflatable obstacles to climb, slide and jump on. Then the host took us into another huge room with even more obstacles! (I got quite a workout!) After working up an appetite from all that bouncing, we were directed to the private rooms since the party host ordered pizza, soda and cake for the kids. The Pump It Up staff was very organized and made sure the our group was the only group in the play rooms making it nearly impossible to mix your kids up with someone else's. If you have kids that are getting a too old for Chuck E. Cheese, I def recommend this place for kids' parties. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth trying. There are a few competitors out there now so that should hopefully give you some negotiating power. Don't forget to bring socks! read more

Pump it up is essentially a business specializing in an indoor facility for hosting birthday parties with large rooms filled with giant inflatables. They are definitely the better of the competition in the area. One key differentiation between Pump it up and their main competition, nearby Jump Zone, also off racetrack road, is that with Jump Zone, it is essentially a huge warehouse with inflatables lining the entire large one room facility. When you have your party, you are essentially sharing the space with anyone else having a party and anyone who paid for free jump time (attending outside of a party). With Pump it up, there is a series of rooms, and your party advances between the rooms at selected timing intervals. This basically guarantees that your party will always have their individual reserved time without mixing with any other groups. I also think the inflatables are newer and better maintained at Pump it up. As a party solution, they create a one stop shop approach where basically all you need to do is give them the credit card and show up. They handle the food, clean up, hosting the party, plates and cups, even sending invitations. read more

This place looks like an industrial place from the outside and is tucked in with other businesses. When you enter you see a small reception/cashier area. Then you go down a long hallway with colorful stars and posters. When you enter the first room at the far end it has a bounce house with basketball, giant slide, climbing wall and a small T-ball area with giant blocks. Then the second room has a dodge ball bounce house, gauntlet type maze bounce house and two giant slides with mats for super fast sliding. The most entertaining part is the projection arcade game on the floor! It's nice and cool inside and clean. It didn't smell like feet and was wide open for plenty of room to run wild!! They wouldn't go in that case since the ambience was really depressing. They owner and his assistant lied to my wife and when she asked for a refund they explicitly replied that they wouldn't do it and that didn't care about reviews. We've been going to Kidz World of Play for a few months and decided to check out the competition. This place has the potential to be really awesome. Essentially all of the activities are bounce house styled. There is a t-ball area, bouncy basketball house, two huge slides and a climbing wall type inflatable. The other room houses a dodgeball arena, another giant slide and another inflatable area with three giant balls you have to jump to/across to a slide to finish the course. It's great when there aren't many other kids there. But with the summer camps and field trips, it's just hard with younger ones as all the big kids kinda take over. $10 to enter per child, which in today's world, isn't very expensive. With the amount of traffic there, they could definitely use more activities...just my two cents and why I gave four stars and not five. read more

We just had my sons 5th bday here and I was very impressed. The entire time is organized and structured. We did the regular bounce house, and then the glow wars room which I definitely recommend! I think the kids had about 90 minutes of play total, then we went in another room for pizza and cake. There are people there helping with everything from keeping to the schedule, handing out pizza, cutting cake, decorating the room, etc. We also had both play rooms all to ourselves, just for our party guests. I have held a birthday party here for my son and been to numerous over the years. It will never change that they set the parties up for the parents to just enjoy watching their kids have a fantastic time. The staff members are usually high school/college aged kids that really seem to care about doing a great job for the families. Over the years they have updated the play rooms with better equipment. Just went to a party and they had an inflatable climbing wall and a awesome jump course. They drop a ton of balloons on the kids. It's a really special experience for the kids. read more

We had a birthday party for my son a year ago with no problems. This year, we called to book a date then called back a few days later when we had a change of plans. They charged us a non refundable fee of $100, and would not refund even though we cancelled two months in advance. It's basically a $100 phone call. This seems because as soon as a bad one goes up I would assume someone who works there or even the owners may be putting fake reviews. This place is not good. I would not waste your money. This is quite possibly the most horribly run establishment for birthday parties in the whole Tampa Bay Area. We booked a party here for my 5 year olds party and was told that we could bring snacks for our kids that don't eat chips. Upon arrival are told we can not bring in a fruit tray because "it makes things sticky" on top of the fact they upped our party to a package we did not agree to and had 7 less children then their package and they refused to change it. The "owner" was extremely rude, not accommodating and proceeded to say "I'm not talking to you anymore" after we were simply asking for an explanation on the "snack" policy and why chips were allowed but not different snacks. The owners of this establishment should be ashamed of how they resolve concerns of their paying customers. read more

I would give no stars if I could... I planned a birthday party for my daughter, then cancelled A MONTH in advance due to medical issues in the family which caused us to make new plans. (Something totally out of my control)... At first, I kindly asked for a refund on the deposit I made and was told no, I could only reschedule 30 days out. Then, I chose a new day to just plan a play party, then was told I could only choose the first or last party of the day. If I'm a paying customer, I have try the right to choose whatever time I want if it's available. I even sent a follow-up email with no response. Then, 3 days before the original birthday party date they called me to confirm the party I cancelled a month ago, and they tell me they already staffed it and have to pay the people. I again asked the owner Bruce for some type of reasonable accommodation and was told no to the above- "I have a small business to run." I will never go here and I advise everyone I know to not go here. Clearly, they only care about making money. They don't care about their customers. read more

Go anywhere else but here! First, They overcharge for disgusting food. When my family, who has dietary restrictions and is elderly tried to bring in sub sandwiches to my daughter's birthday party party they stopped us at the door and said we had to eat it outside in the 90 degree heat. "Its in the contract," they said. It's in the fine print. So my family had to take turns eating outside in the summer heat. Then, feeling sorry for us, they said we could eat the food inside if we paid an extra $30. This is on top of the $400 we already paid for 2 hours of playtime and their food. Also, the play zone were disgusting and not well kept. I doubt the sincerity of anyone who has left a positive review for this place, its probably the staff. Service is awful. Have had private parties double booked, jump time is always cut off early, and staff "service" is pitiful. Never had these problems with Jumpzone which is less than 2 minutes away. when issues are brought to the owner, he shrugs his shoulders and continues on without addressing them. They don't get booked times right. Today, for example, he basically kicked my group of 20+ right out, because our time was up. In reality, they only jumped for 1 hour 15 minutes rather than the 2 hours I paid for. Will NEVER go back here again. read more

I have toured all of the bounce house places and Pump it Up is by far the best. Their Parties are truly Private and their party rooms are huge. My son is on the Spectrum and the staff at Pump it Up were very attentive and made his party special. The other Bounce House places were boasting semi-private parties with inflatables, arcade games or other gym structures. Although they looked interesting on the web, when I visited their facilities, it was clear that they were anything but private. The older fat lady at the front desk stated a very racist comment. " You Spanish people are always late". Very unprofessional and rude to my guest when arrive also my husband was told he can't park in front, which we were hosting the event. Computers were down and the people at front took a long time checking out. They did not have drinks while playing for kids just a water fountain. which drinks should be included since was told everything was included. The party room was nice but I would never choose pump it up as my choice again due to racist comment and will make many people aware. Very cool spot for kids! They are located on the backside of a pretty large industrial/business park complex, which took me a bit to find, but I'm slow so that's probably why. I was there with my 5 year old for a birthday party for one of her classmates last weekend, and I was quite impressed. At first I thought the place was kinda small, but then the party commenced and the kids were cycled through 3 different rooms. The first had some jumpers with different themes. I think one had a basketball court/setup inside. After a while in here, they moved them to the next room which had more jumpers and a BIG inflatable slide with the mats you sit on to make you go faster. And did I mention that it was glow in the dark and they gave these glow ring/hoop/neck things to the kids to enhance their play. There was also a little separated play area with toys set up for real little ones(like under 18 months) to play in and with, as well as benches for the adults to sit on. Lastly, they shuffled them into the party room, where there was pizza, cake, tables, and a big inflatable throne chair for the birthday boy. The playrooms here are carpeted, which I thought was nice. The staff did a good job managing the flow and keeping an eye on the kids to ensure they were playing safely and by the rules. Definitely a good option to wear the little ones out on any given day. read more
