Surprised by the negative reviews. We didn't want to drive 30+ minutes for a pumpkin patch, so grateful for this find. We came at the end of the day (activities close at 5pm, pumpkin patch open until 6pm) so parking was a breeze and free and no reservations needed after 3:30pm. The pumpkins were fun to look through, and weren't outrageously priced. The best part for us was an inflatable bouncy for kids 2 and under. Also a nice photo op. Can't speak to all the parts, but for the convenience it is worth checking out. read more

Service, selection, and value. Everyone working always nice. Great atmosphere with other friendly folks around. Hayride, petting zoo, reptile zoo, haunted house, and bounce houses. Petting zoo the best with an excellent attendee working there clearly paying attention to the animals. Animals also very mellow and seemed to enjoy being there. Bounce houses are not really monitored though which is fine for bigger kids but would be nice if they had one monitored for smaller kids. Great pumpkin patch, we used to meet our friends her annually when we lived in San Jose since it's conveniently right off the 280 exit. The farmer at our closer pumpkin patch passed away and sadly we don't have a local spot anymore. Compared to before they have overflow parking lot, attendants will direct you up the hill with flags so the small parking lot is no longer an issue. They do have a lot of games and attractions for kids so it gets busy, just come right when they open and you'll be fine. There are porta-potties on site and vending machines with snacks and drinks...big tip is dont wear your fancy shoes and clothes, it'll get dusty or dirty. Pumpkin patch has pumpkins sorted by color and type, there are at least 5 different kinds of pumpkins to choose from: classic orange, orange and green, white, yellow and orange, and the mutated ones with warts all over them. Lots of little areas for photo-ops as well and they have wheelbarrows you can borrow for your pumpkin haul and your little ones. Up the hill are the activities, most of them cost $5 a ticket for children with adults being free for each kid: -tractor pull, goes in a small circle, tractor has a cool Halloween theme decoration -petting zoo -reptile zoo, very cool, lots of reptiles and information. Drove 30 minutes to get here just to be turned away because we didn't have a "reservation". Both the website and reservation site indicated that they didn't need one in order to purchase pumpkins; however, we were turned away still. Honestly don't visit this place unless you have a reservation. They probably don't manage their website that well and when we tried to call in it was a automated response. Edit after owner response: Just wanted to also indicate that the photo I took was directly from their website day of and the owner is now trying to claim that it was recently edited and updated however it still reflects that no reservation is required on the weekend. Cute pumpkin patch with lots of different pumpkins to choose from. I only needed two for a pumpkin carving contest but left with 6, they have the small ones that are easy desk decorations and adorable. My coworkers loved them when I brought them in today. They have a parking lot on front and back and I did t ha e any trouble finding parking. When you exit I liked how the houses were also decorated, the skeletons on a truck were really cool. When you are done with pumpkins they are easy to drop off in your car for some of the on site activities like the tractor ride and petting zoo. There are lots of portable bathrooms on site though if it is sunny there is not a lot of shade. Would come back for Christmas trees since they are close and so convenient. read more

I prefer going to Lemos Farms in HMB but this pumpkin patch is far closer and I don't have to deal with 92 west traffic. Pros: Really fun day, I could tell my daughter (2 yo) really enjoyed it, so to me it was worth any hassle. Corn maze! Pony rides for children old enough Barrel train ride, powered by a tractor petting zoo bounce houses a hay ride Ice cream truck!! (not the most options but all the basics you'd expect) Parking is free but see note Lots of pumpkins to play with and pick from, even by end of day. Right off the 280 -- easy in / out. Cons: Parking was an absolute nightmare and the whole lot was a dust pit (this was of course before the rainy season). Note that this was after 3PM with 2 hours left of operating hours. Bounce houses are dominated by older kids -- if your child is small or not totally mobile and able to hold their own against bigger kids, you may want to skip getting the ticket for this. Lines were also pretty heinous... we wanted to try the hayride but the line was halfway across the lot. We ended up taking the barrel train ride instead which was still fun but tougher for parents to come with (I'm small so yes, I fit in the barrel car (see picture) with my daughter). read more

Two adults and one 2 year old toddler for $30 and we spent all the morning having fun there. I actually prefer not to pay by activity/ride. The corn maze saw better days but it is not their fault if people ruined it (sadly) My daughter really enjoyed the animals and the bouncy house. She was very scared at the haunted house though! Used to be a great place to take the kids to get some pumpkins, has gone down hill over the years. We were only going to get pumpkins, got there first thing in the morning and was turned away because we did not have a reservation. This is what it says on their website - RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED FOR WEEKEND ACTIVITIES. IF YOU ARE ONLY PURCHASING PUMPKINS/PRODUCE YOU DO NOT NEED A RESERVATION. I should have checked Yelp reviews before coming. As someone who has been to Webb ranch for years with my kids, it was crazy to see the price increase this year. They now require adults to purchase admission. Previously you could watch your kids do the activities without paying. It now costs $32 per child and $18 per adult, so $100 for a family of four. They have removed a couple of the fun activities (mini train and horse rides) and replaced them with a haunted house that is very small and a short corn maze. Unfortunately, the price is too high for what you get. We will find a different pumpkin patch for next year. read more

If you have little children, then this place might be worth coming to. Key word, might. But, the prices are steep for their so-called activities- the tiniest haunted house that even small children would be bored of, and the shortest corn maze with corn stalks barely reaching 4.5 feet. Hour + wait for the hay ride. Staff wouldn't let the line wait in the shade. When their target audience is kids under 5 they really should just do a 5 minute bay ride instead of running only 1 tractor for a 20-30 minute ride. I am sad to have to leave this review, because I would have given 5 stars three years ago. This year - activity area is extremely overpriced for much below average level of fun and terrible customer service. We didn't know that the adults had to pay to supervise kids in the activity area (we have come to Webb Ranch pre-COVID and that was not the case/adults could supervise the kids without paying for a wristband) and so we paid for two youth wristbands ($64). The person who took the order was okay with that, and did not inform us that adults would need to pay also if only there to supervise/not join in the activities. Upon leaving the activity area - we were chased down and harassed by a teenager who was working there, while we were trying to select our pumpkins. It was very embarrassing. We would have been okay with paying the extra $18 per adult, but we should have been told of that requirement when we purchased the wristbands for our kids/not after-the-fact in a very embarrassing way. We did pay the extra $36 for the two adults (after we were done with the activity area and trying to select our pumpkins). We definitely were not intending to under-pay/we were not trying to "cheat" anyone - we just didn't know the requirement/should have been told it when we bought our kids their wristbands and certainly did not deserve to be embarrassed and chased down by a rude employee. What an over priced pumpkin patch. $32 for kids 2-12. The corn maze is NOT a maze, it's more like a dried up, dead corn stalk that's been run over by a tractor. There is no maze. There's no obstacle course like stated. It's two mounds of dirt with some haystacks. . Just 4 SMALL jump houses. Petting zoo is very small with not that many animals. Haunted house is a joke. Fine it's not scary, just get that but it literally is a 5 minute walk through of 20 -30 steps. So disappointing considering we paid $96 read more

Best for kids 3-9 years old. Covid precautions worked amazingly here this year. Even though it's outside 90-98% wore masks properly (since you do end up closer than 6 ft). Moreover, since they had reservation slots for each time, the place was not very crowded. We almost never had to wait. I was nervous that allotted time would not be enough. Without almost any waiting, it was pure fun, and kids were tired out in 2 hours and we were ready to leave and let other families enjoy it. Hay ride was amazing for grownups and kids. You get to pick and *eat* right away very sweet organic corn. Jumping castles were great. Not crowded, and without a time limit. So kids could have a blast. Haunted house good, but not overly scare, even 3-5year olds could go in. Obstacle course also would be most fun for 3-7 yo. Petting zoo was unique, as it contained not just warm blooded regular animals: goats, pig, llamas, bunnies, chickens, but also lizards (to pet) and you could see (but not touch) snakes. Our kids were absolutely amazed! (Some adults in the group thought snakes were scarier than the haunted house haha) Price was very reasonable. Kids is paid $5 per attraction or $23 total (saving $2). Adults only had to pay $5 for the hay ride, everything else was free for adults to accompany a child. The only downside, if you have a much older kid, I think besides hay ride, they might find it too simple. I hope they continue limited people (with reservations) in sessions even after Covid. Was great experience when it's not crowded, and then groups are done quicker ans new group can enter. read more

My kids were bored at this pumpkin patch. We were there on a Friday- the bouncy houses were hot bc of the sun, the obstacle course was for 3 year olds, the corn maze took 30 seconds for them to figure out and the haunted house wasn't scary. Even the pumpkins were super overpriced. We spent less than 1 hour there- waste of $60 for 4 kids. read more

It cost $68 for our family of four (4yo and 1.5yo boys) to spend 1.5 hours there. They require only wristband purchase and don't allow you to pay by activity anymore. The activities are not in any way worth the cost, especially for young kids who aren't going to be able to wait in the hay ride line (just a journey through a ton of kicked up dirt, as far as we could tell), or do the bigger bounce houses. They went in a bounce house for a few minutes, walked through an extremely lame haunted house, saw some lizards, and pet a few goats. Absolutely ridiculous. This was a great pumpkin patch a couple years ago. It got too crowded and chaotic. I wish they'd run the rides during the workweek, at least consider adding Fridays, and maybe it wouldn't be so bad on the weekends. We literally waited 1 hour and 5 minutes for the Hay ride, which was not even that great. We waited 40 minutes for a Pony ride. I'm willing to pay more for the rides and petting zoo if they'd get the lines moving better. Maybe add 2 ponies? Have a 2nd tractor doing hay rides? The All Day wristband was a mistake for us to buy, because we just wanted to leave after doing a couple activities, but felt like we should stay and do more things. I will say that they do have a cute selection of animals at the petting zoo, and my son had fun on the bouncy slide. My son loved this pumpkin patch a couple years ago, but last year he loved it less, and this time, he only had fun for about 15 minutes. The line for the Hay ride killed our day! Awful customer service! I purchased an activity pass for their Halloween pumpkin patch this morning (9/24) and when I arrived at the time for my activity pass 9/24 at 4:00pm, there was no one here to help. I walked into the shed where I found 4 men who looked like employees. I tried asking them a question but one guy was on the phone and the other 3 were standing around him and holding up a finger at me signaling me to wait. I don't think it requires 4 PEOPLE to answer one phone call. Additionally, I tried asking if there was a restroom while I wait and they still refused to help me. Finally I checked their website and called their number which had a very long and menu and I couldn't select an option through there, I had to call a separate number. When I finally called through to the proper hotline, no one picked up and they told me not to leave a voicemail message as they never check it. Finally I checked on their pumpkin patch page on their website for additional information to find out that they since have updated their site from this morning and they changed their activity pass to weekends only and even though this morning at 9 am I was able to purchase an activity pass for today, at 4:30 pm it was no longer an option and you can only buy them for the weekend now. I checked my confirmation email to see if I could get a refund through their online system without having to go through emailing them and lo and behold, no refunds allowed. Absolutely awful service, drove a total of 40 minutes to be absolutely disappointed and get no help whatsoever from any employees here. Update: We were able to get some help from the an employee and he gave us some numbers to call to try to figure out this situation. 2nd Update directed at Owner who has not let me comment on his reply: I was willing to update or remove my post had you tried to work with me to fix the situation, but it looks like you won't from your comment. The site in which I booked the ticket (not your website since you use a 3rd party site) is where I selected the September 24th update. Regardless of the situation is, the fact of the matter is that they have terrible customer service. Why does it take 4 employees to answer a phone? Why did I have to wait 15 minutes for them to get off the phone to get assistance from anyone? Why did I call your direct line for your pumpkin patch 4 times and not get an answer? Why do you make it literally impossible to get ahold of anyone and require customer email to get assistance? I tried many avenues to get assistance and the first response I'm getting back is an angry reply back. Great way to conduct a business. Also, regardless of what my situation is, I definitely think it is very inconsiderate and a bad business practice to refuse a refund on an event ticket. Many people have things come up at random that prevent them from going to these events. Ticketmaster let's you refund, the SF zoo let's you refund, the SF Japanese tea garden let's you refund and many other time ticketed events have refund policies, especially due to COVID. read more

We get our pumpkins here every year. It's a zoo on weekends (like most popular pumpkin patches on the peninsula or in HMB) so we usually opt for a weekday evening and have the place to ourselves. This year we purchased activity passes (weekends only) due to Covid and that ended up being a great way for our family to experience each activity without the hassle of crowds.
